I visited the hotel to meet a friend and look at the onsen facilities as I want to book a relaxation day. Even though I wasn’t staying at the hotel everyone working there was so welcoming and happy to show me the facilities. I was shown round by Mr Coco who was very knowledgable and impressive. I also had the opportunity to chat to Ms Stamp while I had coffee who was delightful and very informative about other destinations to enjoy in Thailand. The onsen is beautiful and peaceful - and there is a great package including afternoon tea. I look forward to coming back to experience this 🙏
A 4 night stay at this property and it was rather nice. There are some things that I felt needed some care and attention such as, ensuring that the linen in the property can be updated. At the wellness center for example, the towels were tattered and definitely need to be changed out.
The linen in the room as well requires some attention. For a 5 star property, upkeep needs to be on point.
The Wellness Center is amazing though - Japanese Sento Baths + Ice bath & Sauna's are a great addition and I used them daily. Relaxing and extremely useful when you've been walking 10kms on a daily.
The bar is also nice though the outside could use better cooling. The drinks are decent but the welcome drinks when you check in are on the very sweet side so if that's something you like, then you're in for a treat!
The service and staff are exceptional.
The location is about 800m away from the Phrom Phong BTS.
Overall, a relaxing stay and a good property if you'd like to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Soi 11 and similar areas.
We had a really lovely stay at SILQ Hotel Bangkok. The room was nice, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
What really made our stay special was the staff, especially Coco and Nuno from the concierge team. They were genuinely so helpful and friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations on places to visit, restaurants, or anything else we needed. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we really appreciated how welcoming they were.
The breakfast buffet was also great, with a really nice spread and lots of delicious options.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely be happy to stay at SILQ again when we’re back in Bangkok!
I honestly can't recommend SILQ Hotel enough, this was one of the best stays I've had in Bangkok.
The room itself was spacious and had a lovely lounge area, a generous bathroom, and useful extras like a tea and coffee station, toaster, microwave, washing machine, and a full fridge and freezer.
Room service was excellent too, make sure to order the passion fruit cheesecake!
My favourite part of the entire hotel was the onsen, with hot and cold plunge pools and a sauna. It gave the hotel such a peaceful, sanctuary-like feel.
The little touches made a big difference as well, like the complimentary afternoon tea served every day by the pool, with tea, coffee, miso soup, cakes and finger sandwiches.
The gym was a real highlight too, properly equipped with lots of Hyrox style equipment and everything you could need.
The breakfast was honestly one of the best hotel buffets I've ever experienced. The quality, flavour and variety were exceptional, and the staff were so attentive throughout, always making sure we had everything we needed.
If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious place to stay in Bangkok, SILQ Hotel is it! I'll absolutely be back.
I had a very pleasant stay at SILQ Hotel & Residence. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. A special thank you to Coco from the concierge team, who was very helpful and made the experience even smoother.
The room was comfortable, the bed was very comfy, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made the stay relaxing and quiet. I also really enjoyed the onsen — it was a lovely place to unwind.
Overall, a great hotel with excellent service and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.
