I had a wonderful stay here. The room was beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was so comfortable that I had a really good night’s sleep.
The staff were polite, friendly, and very attentive. I truly appreciated how well they took care of me throughout my stay.
The location is also very convenient, with several interesting places and attractions nearby.
Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back again.
We found a lot to love about this hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly. The rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The location next door to pier n13 was convenient for easy access to sites downriver. We had read other reviews saying it could get 'noisy' in this authentic Bangkok neighbourhood (a 10 minute walk to Kaosahn Rd) but we found the hotel to be quiet and slept like babies. A wonderful find in an authentic Bangkok neighbourhood!
Our second stay at this lovely location. Each time we chose a river front room & both times rooms have been very spacious, clean & the bed is super comfortable. It would be a great addition if they added some sort of fan out on the balcony as it is quite closed in and can very hot, almost too uncomfortable to sit out there for very long. Hotel is in a great location to the great alley ways behind that host hundreds of restaurants, shopping & massage.
Breakfast is very good & the staff are always so friendly & helpful. Making you feel like a very valued guest. Will definitely stay again when we are in Bangkok.
I had such an amazing stay at Riva Surya Bangkok, everything about it just felt elevated in the best way. The room was absolutely beautiful, super clean, well organized, and having a washer in the room was such a game changer while traveling.
The pool area was one of my favorite parts, it overlooks the river and is just such a peaceful, stunning place to relax after a day exploring Bangkok. The breakfast buffet was honestly next level, with so many great options and everything tasting fresh and high quality.
I also had dinner at the hotel and it was incredible, such an elegant atmosphere and the food was unreal. I had the lobster and the pulled pork wraps and they were both phenomenal.
On top of all that, the location is perfect and the whole experience just felt really special. I’d 100% stay here again 🤍
The staff at this hotel and the service they provide are incredible. They are all very kind, friendly and very professional. We stayed here 2 nights in the middle of our trip, then came back for one night before flying home the next day. But, I got food poisoning on our last night at a different location on the river. I was too sick to fly home as scheduled. Man, the hotel manager, was very understanding, concerned and helpful. Our room was booked for the next two nights, but Man arranged another room for us so we didn’t have to change hotels. He helped us with rearranging our flights and with the documents we needed for cancelling our original flights. Everyone on staff seemed to know about my illness and they all asked my husband multiple times about how I was doing while I was convalescing in our room. I want to thank everyone at the hotel for their kindness.
The hotel has a lovely restaurant with both inside dining and outside dining on a beautiful deck by the pool overlooking the river. There are plenty of options for breakfast, but not as much variety as at other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Everything was delicious though!! Dinners were also very good both in presentation and taste. The rooms are spacious and clean but the showers could use some bleach. Piaow at reception is one of the sweetest people I have ever met and the entire staff treated us with the utmost respect and kindness.
