Mercure Bangkok Surawong

This was my first time staying at Mercure Surawong Bangkok, and after three nights, I can say it was definitely worth it! We booked a twin room with a balcony, offering lovely views of the Silom area. One of my favourite details was the scent of the amenities, which was such a nice touch. I also really liked the hotel’s overall design and the compact gym, which was perfect for a quick workout before starting the day. There are just a couple of areas that could be improved. The shower in room 1012 felt quite basic, and I would have appreciated a rain shower. Water also occasionally leaked through the gap in the shower door, leaving the in front of bathroom floor wet. The real highlight, though, was the staff. Bella gave us a warm welcome upon arrival, and I enjoyed our little daily morning chats with Mr. Nan, who drove us to the nearby BTS station using the hotel shuttle. A special mention also goes to the housekeeping lady from Myanmar, whose name I unfortunately forgot, but whose kindness and attention to detail really stood out. Thank you to the team for making our stay so welcoming and comfortable. I would happily recommend this hotel to others and would love to stay here again!

We stayed in Bangkok for almost a month and spent most of our stay at this hotel. We loved it! The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, and have a lovely color scheme. The staff were helpful and always resolved any issues quickly. We especially loved the location. It’s in a quiet, safe residential area away from the busy downtown crowds, but still close to malls and plenty of great local food within walking distance. It was a very comfortable place for a longer stay. We would definitely come back!

Great Location, Great Vibe & That Rooftop! 🌆🍸 The Mercure Surawong is in such a great spot. Far enough away from the craziness to be peaceful and quiet at night, but close enough to be right in amongst it when you want to be. The staff were always friendly, happy and helpful. Special mention to Noom, who somehow managed to carry two 20+ kg suitcases up the stairs at once like it was nothing! 💪😂 There is a ramp too, just in case Noom isn’t working! The whole hotel has a really relaxed, chilled vibe with plenty of nice spaces to just hang out. But the standout has to be the rooftop bar 🍸🌆. Indoor and outdoor areas, great city views and a brilliant spot to chill with a drink, especially at night. Rooms were clean, vibrant and a really comfortable size, with everything you actually need. For the location, rooms, staff and facilities, this place is seriously good value for money. Would definitely stay again, actually didnt want to leave 👌

We had a great stay! We checked in around 11:30 PM after a long flight and were exhausted. A special thanks to Noon at the front desk, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. She listened to our needs and found great solutions for us, making our late check-in smooth and stress-free. The housekeeping staff on the 9th floor was also lovely and kept our room clean and tidy. Great location and a very comfortable stay overall. Would definitely recommend!
