Mercure Bangkok Makkasan

Just checked in at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan and the experience has been superb so far. The check-in process was smooth, the staff were warm and welcoming, and everything has been handled professionally. A special mention to Duty Manager Ning, who provided exceptional service and made us feel genuinely valued from the moment we arrived. Thank you for the warm hospitality and attention to detail. Looking forward to the rest of our stay! Highly impressed so far.

We had a very pleasant three-night stay and were impressed by the hotel’s hospitality, facilities, and overall value for money. The staff are friendly and attentive, and we would like to extend our appreciation to the reception staff (a short-haired girl) for the thoughtful room upgrade. The complimentary shuttle services to Palladium World, along with the hourly transfers to the MRT station, were particularly convenient and added great value to our stay. BIG THANKS TO YOD for helping us with our luggages + dropping us off with the shuttle 🥹 The excellent service and convenient facilities made our stay very worthwhile. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely come back in the future!

We stayed at Mercure Bangkok Makkasan from 2nd to 5th October 2026, on the 19th floor, for a mother-daughter trip. We had a very pleasant and comfortable experience. We felt safe throughout our stay, which was especially important to us. The room was well soundproofed and the beds were very comfortable. The housekeeping team deserves a special mention for keeping our room exceptionally clean and neat. We truly appreciated the care and attention to detail in tidying everything up. We did experience a couple of issues with the charging points and water pressure in the room, but both were resolved quickly and efficiently. A special shout-out to Korn, who was incredibly skilled and friendly in resolving both matters. His professionalism and willingness to help made a real difference to our stay. The reception staff, both during the day and at night, were consistently kind and welcoming. One area that could be improved is the vegetarian selection at the restaurant as there were very few substantial vegetarian meals available. However, ordering food through Grab was easy and convenient. Getting around for shopping was a little challenging. The hotel shuttle to Pratunam operated only twice a day, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., so we had to take taxis whenever we wanted to go shopping. Due to the major road construction works, what should have been a short trip to Pratunam took around 30 minutes each time. More frequent shuttle services would certainly make things easier for guests. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. We will certainly remember our stay fondly and come again!
