Marriott Exec Apts Thonglor

The location is perfect. A direct connection to the BTS and in one of the best spots of Bangkok. However the restaurants are top notch so you don’t need to leave the property. The rooms are just like an apartment so it gives you a home feel. There is even laundry, dishwasher and oven in the rooms.

We normally stay at Fraser Suites in Soi 11 but decided to give Marriott Thong Lo a try. A bit disappointed with the room. No smart tv or Netflix. There is a DVD player but no DVDs. The dryer did not work. Very difficult to plug in the iron and hair dryer in the bathroom. Shower pressure can be improved. Breakfast was good and special mention to Chef Bhatia who came around daily to see if all was ok. Location is close to the mrt station which is good. All considered will go back to Fraser the next time.

We stayed 4 nights at the Marriott Apartments during a 2 week trip in Thailand and our stay was wonderful. From the moment we arrived we received wonderful service. We intentionally booked the apartment so we would have the usage of the washer and dryer, and it was so nice to be able to have clean clothes for our final leg of the trip. The breakfast was top notch, and the lounge was amazing to visit every night for drinks and snacks. The service in the lounge was also wonderful. The pool was a wonderful place to relax, and the rooftop bar offered amazing views. I highly recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved these executive apartments. The rooms were updated and nicely decorated. They were very clean and the hotel had a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and responded quickly to my requests. I also had access to the executive lounge and the food and service were immaculate in there as well. There’s also a rooftop bar which has a 360 view of Bangkok. The train stop is less than a 5 minute walk away and the location was great. Overall, I would return here the next time I’m in Bangkok.
