Kalanan Riverside Resort

Beautiful old-world Thai-Colonial architecture surrounded by green gardens right on the Chao Phraya River. Rooms are huge and spotless. Features two nice pools (a lagoon pool and a riverfront pool), friendly staff, and a pet-friendly policy. Sunset dinner by the river is a highlight. Convenient to IMPACT Muang Thong Thani and DMK Airport.

Very nice, almost historic place, with the venues and event organizing focus mainly. Old fort turned into nice resort. The accommodation and the rooms, have old fashion appearance with nice touch of the modern assets and appliances. Perfect place for relaxation and silence. Not much of the entertainment within but health relaxation. Spa, riding bicycle, walking through the parks, the terrace with the restaurant over the river, nice swimming pools and river view... Food is excellent and tasty. Depending on the preference, perfect place for holiday. Conditioned by the traffic, located up to one hour away form the city center.... Taxi.

Truly understated! We went here to scope out our 5th anniversary venue and this place really stood out even though it's not marked as a 5 star resort. The staff is really kind and helpful even with a bit of a language barrier and we thoroughly explored the hotel along with the entertainment and activities such as taking their cooking class, biking, swimming in both the pools (communal and the one with our villa). The place is very vintage and heritage like, very timeless. We also used their spa service and scrub down and enjoyed that, the masseuse was mindful of the changes and modifications we told them to do. We also got a formal tour of their facilities and their banquets, and had the pool breakfast on the day of checkout and we enjoyed that as well!

From the moment I arrived at Kalanan Resort, I was welcomed with exceptional hospitality. Everyone was incredibly friendly and made me feel at home immediately, as if I had been coming there for years.The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning architecture, tasteful decoration, and breathtaking landscaping. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed all the activities offered. The cooking class was a highlight of my stay—the chef was not only talented but also extremely engaging and communicative, making the experience both fun and memorable- Thank you Chef!!! The massage was equally wonderful, and the therapist was highly skilled and professional. The views throughout the property are simply amazing, and every corner of the resort is thoughtfully designed. And if you’re in the mood for a drink, don’t miss the Piña Colada—the bartender makes an excellent one! I left Kalanan Resort with beautiful memories and a deep appreciation for the kindness and care shown by the entire team. Thank you, Kalanan, for such a memorable stay. I truly hope to return one day.
