Exceptionally clean hotel, but the experience is really highlighted by the AMAZING staff they hire!! ‘Boat’ was SUPER helpful the moment we arrived. He is warm, always smiling, and very helpful with directions. He ALWAYS greeted us every time we saw him.. and we loved his hospitality 😊 ‘Qui’ was especially helpful and concerned with my gf safety, going above and beyond to assist for her safe trip to a spa and restaurant, she really went out of her way to make sure she was safe and we super appreciated that 🙏 ‘Zyra’ although only a trainee, assisted us like a hospitality professional 👍… we had no idea she was only a ‘trainee’!! We saw her working extremely hard handling multiple jobs like from working the breakfast dining to handling front door and then assisting all the guests. She really is AMAZING!! We hope she has the best career in hospitality because her warm smile and personality made us want to come back and stay again!! ☺️

This is a great hotel in a handy location with excellent service. You are steps from the Thong Lor metro stop from which one can get anywhere. While the breakfast is a bit pricey it is excellent even on Asian hotel standards with great service. The rooms are very adequate and as has been mentioned in other reviews, housekeeping is very attentive. The staff at this hotel have been well trained and are very efficient, friendly and professional. Special mention to Khun Title at the Concierge desk who was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are a gym nut the Intercontinental at Pathum Wan (4-5km up the road) is better but the smallish gym here is enough for the majority of people working out. There was good recognition of IHG status but there is one area that could be improved. The Club Lounge has terrific staff (thank you Khun Ally and all the rest) but if you are reading this F&B Director you really need to up your game in a few simple areas. The food selection is not great (drinks selection is excellent) and adding food warmers like they have in the main restaurant on the 4th floor would be a great help. Heat lamps don't do anything. Otherwise the Club lounge is well located with a great view and again great staff. This is a well managed hotel and we will be back.

I have stayed here a couple of times, I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit! The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly its outstanding staff. Everyone was always smiling and ready to help. A huge shoutout to Mr. Suebyos and his incredible Concierge team—they provided exceptional recommendations for nearby attractions, transport, and the best dining spots around Thonglor. The room was spotless and felt very fresh and modern. The only minor downside is that if you want a room with a bathtub, you’ll need to book a higher room category, but the quality of the stay still makes it worthwhile. The swimming pool offers a fantastic view! It’s a great spot to relax, though it would have been even better if there were a pool bar to order drinks from directly. The Club Lounge is a bit on the cozy side, but the attentive service completely makes up for its size. Plus, they offer an impressive selection of drinks to enjoy. Don't miss the buffet at AVA Brasserie! It is definitely value for money with a fantastic variety of dishes. My absolute favorite part had to be the dessert selection—simply heavenly! Overall, a brilliant hotel with fantastic service. I would definitely come back again!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. First we weren't sure because it was a little bit further out but with travel, the heat, and the busyness of this city, it was the perfect reprieve. Very calming, relaxing, and the service, I can't say enough about how kind and attentive the people who worked at the hotel were. We would 100% stay here without a doubt and cabs and transportation are so reasonable. Breakfast was wonderful, to be honest. It was more like a dinner buffet every option you can imagine. The second floor, jazz bar, deco inspired with speakeasy vibes, andp live music starting at 8:30pm! Happy hour is 5:30 to 8:30pm, two for one drinks. Main floor lobby offers tea time, gelato, coffee, and refreshments! We loved it. Truly the service deserves the highest rating. Thank you!
