Great hotel with an amazing team! I had a couple of issues with my room, and the staff immediately addressed them and followed up to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Clearly a very well-run property. Kudos to the GM! A special shout-out to Mind and the lady working the evening and night audit shifts for consistently providing amazing service. Their hospitality really stood out. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience staying here. From our stay to every amenities, everything was so perfect. We didn’t face any problems during our stay. It was so peaceful and relaxing for our family. Reception staff including Mr. Book, Miss Belle(The Manager), Miss Fon, Miss Way, and Miss Mind(Night Receptionist) all were excellent and were very helpful. The American breakfast was good and the best part was the sandwich. Basic but delicious. Miss Kwan was absolutely helpful throughout the breakfast everyday. We were delighted to have a stay in this property. Thank you so much Grand Mercure❤️
I was there on the early of April for vacation with my family and 7 dogs, yes you read it right With my toddler and her 7 dogs (4 huskies, 1 golden retriever, 1 bulldog, 1 south eastern) This place is totally pet friendly!!! I love how they let the pets go on the bed and sofa and they even prepared pet bowls and pads for us. The location is brilliant, truly center of the city. The staff are so kind. Thank you น้องโมส น้องปกรณ์ when we checked in for taking care of our big fam คุณนุช for snack and chicken for the dogs น้องมาย น้องเวย์ The receptionists for looking after my bulldog when I was in a quick food grabbing คุณปู คุณหนุ่ย for helping us with the huge suitcases! คุณส้ม for a clean room everyday And คุณเชอรี่ for really taking good care of us Will surely be back I highly recommended ❤️
The hotel was highly rated and featured apartment like setup - the reason for me to book. It was comfortable, conviniently located. They were kind enough to give me early check -in and room upgrade based ony Accor platinum status. But I was on a Holiday and wanted holiday experience with nice breakfast buffet, big pool, nice public spaces and exceptional service. The hotel lacked all of that hence wasn't suitable for my needs. Cons: In my experience, pool was really small (practically unusable and just for namesake). Breakfast spread was really small with only bread and fruits as vegetarian options. There was no members lounge or happy hour (members with accor platinum/diamond please note). Interiors was outdated, upholstery rather dirty. Also, they were stingy with towels, toiletries and water bottles. A good highly rated place should be providing and refilling these without asking. Pros: Cheaper for the space provided, well equipped kitchen, washer, shuttle to LRT, many restaurants nearby. It might suit better to the business travellers staying for long stay. Not very suitable for Holiday experience.
The service at Grand Mercure Bangkok Asoke Residence was very good overall. Most of my interactions with the staff were positive, friendly, and welcoming. A special mention goes to Pakorn, who really stood out—he always had a genuine smile and an engaging personality that made each interaction feel personal. He came across more like a friend than just staff, which made a big difference in my stay. There was a hiccup with my booking, as I had reserved a specific room through Airbnb based on the photos. When I arrived, that room type was unavailable and I was given an older room that didn’t quite match what I had booked. I brought this up to Pakorn right away, and while there wasn’t anything he could do immediately since other guests were already in those rooms, he handled it professionally and reassured me the issue would be resolved the following day. That level of communication and accountability helped smooth things over. Rooms The rooms were decent overall—comfortable and fair for the price. However, there was some inconsistency between the advertised photos and the room I initially received, which felt more dated. Once the situation was addressed, the experience improved. Overall, the rooms are functional and suitable if you’re looking for something reasonably priced in a central location. Location The location is a major highlight. Situated right on Sukhumvit 19, the hotel is perfectly placed for anyone spending time in the Sukhumvit or Asoke area. Whether you’re there for nightlife, dining, or business, everything is easily accessible. It’s an ideal base if you want to be right in the center of it all.
