Golden Tulip Mandison Suites

We had a Lovely stay here. Staff were absolutely wonderful. Kenny at reception he made our stay even more special as we were celebrating my daughters 21st Birthday and he went out of his way and gave her a special gift that she will forever treasure. Thank you Kenny we appreciate you! and thank you everyone at the Mandison Hotel for our stay. We will be back 😊. We also had breakfast included and it was great.

Fine hotel in Bangkok to stay for a few days. Rooms are okay, but we ordered a 2-person room with one extra bed for a third person, only that bed was almost falling apart. The matress was so much harder compared to the two other beds it was really uncomfortable to lie and sleep on. Breakfast was very good, great selection of foods where everyone around the world can enjoy. Food in the restaurant were a bit basic and not that delicious compared to what I was expecting of such a hotel, but several 7-11 were nearby and ofcourse the streetfood, so it was fine. Cocktails and beer had a 1+1 free discount from 3-7pm which was ofcourse very good. Anyways for us the prices of those cocktails as western people were still good and great-value. Location has up- and downsides. It lies in a side street of Bangkok, meaning you have to walk 10 minutes to get to the main road and at least 15 to Asok station, which is a bit too long I think, however in the night, especially on the terrace and swimming pool, it leads to calm and relaxing views and vibes, which personally was more important for me :)* Overall it's a good hotel to stay at for a few days if you keep in mind the walking distances to the rest of Bangkok and that main street! * Afterwards I heard you could use a complementary shuttle service to the main road, which I would have definately used if I could go back in time.

I just love everything here, every single moment. The staff were excellent; they were all really nice, always had big smiles, and were highly attentive. There is a swimming pool on the 4th floor with a designated smoking area. Breakfast was amazing, offering so many choices and great flavors, including Indian, Thai, and international food. They also served cheese, waffles, pancakes, honeycomb, breads, overnight oatmeal, salad, fruit, and flower tea. I looked forward to it every morning, it was the best way to start the day. The hotel is around 20 minutes walk to the BTS/MRT, making it easy to get around, and hotel offer a Tuk-Tuk shuttle service from 07:00 to 22:00. The room was nice, but the bathtub wall was a bit too high to step into (around 40 cm), so the shower room worked better for us.

Very spacious family rooms and great breakfast. Combine this with a nice pool and bar, and this is the perfect starting point for a Bangkok trip. The only pitfall is the location, which is a bit far from the main road. Taxis are however just around the corner, and they offer a free shuttle to the corner of the street.
