At this price range, the hotel is a bargain. Location is pretty convenient for public transportation. Room is rather dated with older-era feel but adequately larger-side space and definite clean. Its bathroom is also clean and large. Small swiming pool on the 11th is quite cozy. Breakfast is OK with mixed choices. At this price, the overall accomodation is very competitive. This is an indoor parking available. The staffs are attentive and helpful.

This place is a gem — everything is good. My favorite things here are the quality of the mattress, bed sheets, and aircon. The staff here are also wonderful and caring. For example, after checking out I forgot my black polo in the room, and the reception texted me about 30 minutes later to let me know they were keeping it for me at reception. The hotel is close to everything — beach, 7-Eleven, night market. Thank you, Emerald team!

The Emerald Hotel worked well for my stay since the metro is close by, which made getting around very easy. The room itself was comfortable and in really good shape, and I appreciated how well kept everything felt. There was a small detail I didn’t love, but overall it was a solid and convenient place to stay.

Been coming here for 10 years as my family loves this hotel, but will definitely not be returning again. Standards have dropped especially for a 4-star hotel, and inconsistent service was visible every single day throughout the whole of my 5-night stay here. Inconsistent service at breakfast, where the staff can't differentiate between their own attire requirements (the staff are different every single day, and they emphasise different standards of attire as they please - can't differentiate between the meaning of slippers, and the difference between pyjamas and t-shirts.) For five days, wearing the same attire for breakfast and then getting stopped at the breakfast reception by the captain (Phonphat) on the last day of my stay was truly annoying, and if simple standards can't be emphasised, you can only be sure this hotel is going downhill. Not to mention, the breakfast selection has been gradually dwindling and it's noticeable they are cutting corners. Same goes for housekeeping as well. Some days, things that were needed to be replaced weren't replaced and broken hangers were in our closet when we checked in. This hotel seems like a 4-star hotel, but it's only when you step in when you realise this place isn't how it projects itself to be. Thanks, but never again.
