Dusit Thani Bangkok

We had a lovely stay overall! While the initial experience was a little disappointing due to a few small mishaps during check-in and with the birthday arrangements, I really appreciated how the hotel team took our feedback seriously and made an effort to turn things around. The service recovery was much appreciated. Special shoutout to the doormen, who were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the breakfast team, who were equally thoughtful and proactive in ensuring we were well taken care of. Their warm hospitality really stood out. Thank you to the team for addressing our concerns and making the effort to improve our experience. It was nice to see the hotel take feedback seriously, and we appreciate the care shown by the staff throughout the rest of our stay!

The Dusit Thani Bangkok is truly an exceptional city hotel. The breathtaking views, beautifully designed rooms, fantastic pool, excellent gym and outstanding restaurants make it a perfect place to stay in the heart of Bangkok. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The level of hospitality is simply outstanding and makes you feel comfortable and valued throughout your stay. A wonderful combination of luxury, comfort and exceptional service. I would highly recommend the Dusit Thani to anyone visiting Bangkok and would happily stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel, But Disappointing Service I’ve visited Bangkok more than 30 times over the past 10 years and stayed at many different hotels. Since this trip started on my birthday and I had heard so much about the newly renovated Dusit Thani, I decided to stay here despite the high price. My flight arrived at 1 a.m., so I first checked into a budget hotel for a few hours of sleep. The staff noticed my birthday on my passport and surprised me with a small stuffed toy and warm birthday wishes. It was a wonderful start to my trip. A few hours later, I checked in at Dusit Thani and asked for a corner room. My partner even mentioned, “It’s his birthday today,” yet I didn’t receive even a simple “Happy Birthday.” The reception and room staff also gave us no introduction to the hotel’s facilities or location. The pool felt underwhelming for a hotel of this size and reputation, and even the mango smoothie I ordered had large chunks of unblended ice. I also waited over 30 minutes for ice that never arrived and had to call again about the water I requested. The room, furniture, bathroom, colors, views, and even the corridors were beautifully designed. But does beautiful design alone make a five-star hotel? Unfortunately, beyond the beautiful rooms and views, I was disappointed by the overall service and experience. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

During this trip to Bangkok, I stayed at several different hotels, and what impressed me most about this one was undoubtedly its breathtaking views. The scenery from the room was absolutely beautiful, both during the day and at night. Even without going out, I found myself perfectly content simply relaxing in the room and enjoying the view. The hotel has an elegant and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down, unwind, and truly enjoy your vacation. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and my overall stay was very enjoyable. The service team was professional and courteous throughout my stay, and everything was handled smoothly. If I had to mention one thing, compared to some of the other hotels I stayed at during this trip, the service here was certainly good, but it felt like it was missing that extra personal touch that creates truly memorable moments. That said, it did not take away from my enjoyment of the hotel in any way. If you value stunning views, a relaxing atmosphere, and a place where you can simply stay in your room and appreciate the beauty around you, I would highly recommend this hotel.
