We came to this hotel after staying somewhere else nearby and I must say this is hotel is of excellent value.
It is in a great location, 10 minutes from Khao san road and other busy locations, as well as a port location for ferry transport.
The rooms are big and the bathtub is great to have. Can hear some noise from other rooms but otherwise not too bad.
The rooftop pool is lovely with a great view over Bangkok, even being able to see the grand palace and wat Arun.
I can’t recommend this place enough, was very satisfied with our stay.
I have been here to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. In term of the location is nicely located, 7-11 nearby, easy to chill out as a family group at night, not far from taxi-boat pier Phra Arthit, Historical places like the Grand palace, War Pho reclining Buddha ,Wat Arun or even other places where we can move by taxi-boat, you can take a tuktuk or taxi to join a metro station either Sanamchai or Sam Yot to visit other attractions like shopping malls, Jim Thompson House, etc. Calm in this area, and practical for historical places visits. Lobby and restroom are clean, staff are friendly and provide good hospitality.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Chillax Resort. The rooms were comfortable, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. The location was excellent, with plenty of bars, restaurants and attractions in Bangkok’s Old Town just a short walk away.
The hotel offered a great balance of comfort, convenience and good service, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend Chillax Resort to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Bangkok, and I would happily stay here again in the future.
Great hotel!! Very short walk to Khaosan Road...although I did not party this time. Amazing location with everything you need (shopping, food, massage, travel agents and others) at your door step. Room was cleaned daily and toiletries replenished. The best part for me was the staff. I received exceptional service from all staff members, from bell man to reception to restaurant staff.
The only disappointing part was that I was only made aware of the pool renovation at arrival, but I was quickly offered free breakfast as compensation, which I didn't make it to. And the pool being closed was made up for by the amazing service, everything just being by my doorsteps and the jacuzzi in my room :). Also, wanted to tip the bell man from my arrival, but he was unfortunately unavailable at my departure :(. I will surely be back!! :D
Exceptional service and astronomical value for a brilliant stay in Bangkok!
The Setup: Stayed here for 5 nights in mid-June as 2 of us. Booked a double deluxe room and paid £179 total for the 5 nights.
What stood out:
✅ The Service: Exceptional from the moment we stepped inside. We arrived around 9pm and the lovely receptionist had us checked in and shown to our room within 5 minutes. The staff throughout were lovely and the room was cleaned perfectly every single day.
🔥 The Experience: Our double deluxe room was nice, tidy, and spacious, coming with a balcony, lovely bed, jet-powered bath, good shower, TV, and air con. The location is perfect, right near a 7-Eleven and plenty of restaurants in a quiet area that guarantees a perfect night's sleep. The pool is also a lovely, relaxing spot to grab some sun and chill. Just keep in mind this isn't a luxury luxury hotel, so if you're used to staying in literally perfect places you will see some differences, but it is an incredibly good place to stay.
🙌 The Value: 9.6/10 - Absolutely ridiculous value for the money. You really cannot argue when the price is this good for what you get. Plus, you can skip the 299 Baht hotel buffet since there are loads of lovely local breakfast spots literally a couple of minutes' walk away.
The Verdict: Highly recommend if you are looking for a tidy, spacious room, lovely staff, and a great location without breaking the bank.
