Ascott Thonglor Bangkok

I stayed here for a few days, and I enjoyed the service and facilities, which were in line with the standards a five-star hotel should meet. The staff demonstrated professionalism, and their work was smart and efficient. I went to the gym one night, and I enjoyed walking on the treadmill while having the lovely city view. For breakfast, I needed to scan a QR code to place my order, which was a bit stressful, especially with a busy morning schedule. But it was okay once I understood how the system worked. As some reviews mentioned, I also felt one of the staffers in the restaurant was not friendly, no smiles, and a bit rude, but it didn't bother me even though it left me with a bit of a strange feeling and doubts. I also had dinner at the same venue and tried some Japanese food. I felt the sushi rice was a bit too watery, while the BBQ was okay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I will surely return!

The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. The bed is large and comfortable. I especially loved the bench/daybed by the window. With natural light pouring through the curtains and the skyline stretching beyond the windows, this daybed transformed my reading time into a quiet luxury- simple, serene, and deeply relaxing. The staff were nice and attentive too. They lent us an umbrella one evening when we decided to check out a night market. The bathroom is spacious and clean. This is a huge deal for me. Good job on this. I will definitely be staying here when we go back to Bangkok with family soon.

My family had a lovely stay at Ascott Thonglor. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, we were greeted with friendly staff who were always doing their best to help us in every way possible. They would greet us as we walk through the lobby everytime as well as bell boys helping to pack our pram into the car for us. We had a great breakfast each morning and the staff were very accommodating for our baby. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day. We frequented the pool and gym and they even had a children's play room that was loved by our 1 year old. For us, the location was great - a safe, quieter neighbourhood that was very clean but I wonder if it would have made our days easier to be a little bit more centrally located Overall, we had a wonderful time at Ascott Thonglor and are very appreciative to the staff for making it such a great stay for us. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Ascott Thonglor - the property is right beside the BTS and the rooms are clean and modern. The bathroom amenities are top notch and the washing machine was very practical for my brother who had been travelling for a few days. The hotel doesn't feel crowded and has a nice green space outside. The views from the room are magnificent. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread - there were plenty of vegetarian options. One of the rooms was not ready when we checked in at 4pm and the hotel could have offered a drink and snack to make up for it - this is my only complaint.
