Arcadia Suites Bangkok

Really enjoyed my stay here! It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, around 800m from the nearest BTS. Walkable, but the shuttle only comes every 30 mins. The room was super spacious, almost like a small apartment with a living area. Plenty of space to work, eat and relax. Soundproofing was also really good. Overall, a comfortable and peaceful stay!

I would like to clarify once again that I did not mention the electricity issue in my review, as this was not the subject of my complaint. My complaint is about the extremely bad and unacceptable smell in the room, which I reported to your staff more than four times. Despite my repeated complaints, the issue was ignored for three days before we were finally moved to another room. What made the situation even worse was the way I was treated by your staff. On Monday, one of your employees told me that if I did not leave the hotel by 5:00 PM, he would call the police, even though my reservation was fully paid until Tuesday and the hotel had already received the full payment. I find this kind of threat completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I am requesting compensation and a refund for the room/days during which my family and I were forced to stay in unacceptable conditions because of the severe smell, especially after the hotel ignored our repeated complaints for three days. The hotel manager initially promised me compensation and later went back on that promise. Instead of addressing these serious points, your response discusses an electricity issue that I never mentioned in my review. I would appreciate a direct response regarding the three days we stayed in the room with the unacceptable smell, the promised compensation, and the inappropriate threat to call the police despite my reservation being fully paid until Tuesday. Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The room we were given had an extremely bad and unacceptable smell. I contacted the hotel more than four times asking them to resolve the issue, but they did not move us to another room until three days later, meaning we had to spend three full days in these unpleasant conditions. After the room was finally changed, I requested compensation for the days we had endured the problem. The hotel manager initially promised me compensation, but later changed his word and told me that I would receive nothing. What disappointed me the most was not only the condition of the room, but also the manager’s unprofessional handling of the situation and failure to honor his promise. We paid the full price for our stay and expected, at the very least, a clean and comfortable room and professional customer service. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not stay at this hotel again.

Next to shopping at MBK, this hotel was the absolute highlight of our trip to Bangkok. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine hospitality by an incredible staff. The location was perfect, and the rooms were spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable. A special thank you to Mr. JJ, one of the bellmen, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a private car service for us for the day, and when we ran late, he coordinated with the driver, who graciously waited for us without any issues. What impressed us even more was that after we checked out, Mr. JJ was actually off duty, yet he still took the time to come say goodbye and make sure our departure and checkout went smoothly. That level of care and dedication is rare and speaks volumes about both him and the hotel’s commitment to outstanding service. If you’re visiting Bangkok, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The exceptional staff, outstanding service, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. We will absolutely be back!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Arcadia Suites Ploenchit Bangkok and would gladly choose it again on a future visit. One of the hotel's greatest strengths is its location. It offers a peaceful environment while remaining within easy reach of Bangkok's major attractions. Wireless Road is just a short walk away, and BTS Phloen Chit Station is approximately 10 minutes on foot. The complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle to BTS Phloen Chit and Central Embassy is a fantastic convenience, and the return pickup service demonstrates the hotel's commitment to guest comfort. The room itself was spacious, well maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job keeping everything clean, and the air conditioning performed exceptionally well throughout my stay. To make an already good experience even better, I would suggest a few areas for improvement. There was a persistent drain odor, likely originating from the bathroom floor drain, which was difficult to overlook despite the use of air freshener. The Wi-Fi coverage also needs attention, as the connection was fast and reliable in the living area but dropped significantly in the bedroom and was unavailable in the bathroom. Finally, upgrading the televisions to support streaming platforms such as YouTube and Netflix would be a welcome addition for guests staying multiple nights. These observations are intended as constructive feedback rather than criticism. Overall, Arcadia Suites provides excellent value, a quiet atmosphere, and convenient transportation options. I would confidently recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in central Bangkok.
