I stayed at Amranata Hotel for a total of 44 days and made four separate bookings during my time there. My stays were consistently enjoyable, and I would happily return in the future. One of the best things about Amranata Hotel is its warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a family-owned hotel, it offers a personal touch and genuine hospitality that make guests feel comfortable and appreciated.A special thank you to Lay, JJ, and Neat, who are all incredibly friendly, polite, professional, and helpful. Their positive attitudes and excellent service made my stays even more enjoyable. They always made me feel welcome, and their kindness deserves special recognition. I would also like to express my appreciation to the manager, who is very kind, understanding, and accommodating. He generously offered me a special price, which I truly appreciated. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Huai Khwang station and 10 minutes from the Ganesha Temple and night market, but the area feels like Chinatown with all the Chinese restaurants. The room is just like the photos—spacious with a bathtub—and they even offer both soft and firm pillows. The downside is the master light switch is only by the door, and a few of the other switches were a bit glitchy. The pool is on-site, but you have to walk across to the sister Suites hotel to use the gym. It’s a 2-minute walk to the nearest 7-Eleven and the hotel's carpark is 3-minutes away from the hotel with limited space. The staff were mostly fine.
10/10 – Highly recommended! We had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the swimming pool was really nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was also excellent — there is a 7-Eleven literally around the corner, just a few steps away. It was quiet at night, and the price was definitely worth it. We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that. Overall, everything was great and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
We stayed two nights in a family suite at Amarantha Hotel in Bangkok. The rooms were spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the hotel is very tired and worn out. The sofa in the living room was in terrible condition - full of holes and dirty, making it impossible to sit on, which was very unpleasant. The pillows were also in bad shape, with everything clumped up inside. The breakfast also left a lot to be desired. It was served in the Copper restaurant, located in the basement. There were constantly some dishes missing, and there was cobweb hanging on the railings. The hotel is also located near a metro station, which was convenient. That said, the staff really tried hard to help us. Overall, we wouldn't stay at this hotel again.
Disappointing stay – the hotel needs maintenance and better attention to detail Unfortunately, our stay was quite disappointing, especially considering the standard of the hotel. Upon arrival, we found black hair on the living-room floor, which was clearly not properly cleaned (see attached photo). The room also had a bathtub with a jacuzzi function, but the jacuzzi was not working. The housekeeping service was also poorly managed. They repeatedly came to clean while we were in the room and asked us when we would be leaving. On one day, because of very heavy rain, we decided to stay in the room and therefore gave up the cleaning service altogether. On another occasion, I found that my mobile phone charger had been damaged, with the cable connector broken (see attached photo). Nobody informed me about what had happened, which I found particularly disappointing. The breakfast was another area that could be improved. If you arrive around 9:00–9:15, there is still a good variety of food available. However, as breakfast time gets closer to closing, many items are no longer available because they are not replenished. Fruit juices, food and desserts gradually disappear, leaving a much more limited choice for guests who arrive later. This is something that should be improved, as guests should be able to enjoy a reasonably complete breakfast throughout the advertised breakfast hours. More generally, the hotel appears to suffer from a lack of maintenance. For example, the jacuzzi in the swimming-pool area was only partially working, the wooden flooring was visibly deteriorated, and the paint on some of the tiles was faded and worn. Overall, the property would benefit from a general renovation and much better maintenance. There was also an unpleasant surprise at check-out. We were charged 90 THB for each of 4 small bottles of water from the minibar. We had mistakenly assumed these bottles were complimentary, especially since the other bottles of water provided outside the fridge were free of charge and the minibar bottles were never replaced during our stay. The price was also particularly excessive: 90 THB per small bottle is around 2.4 EUR / 2.7 USD, while 600 ml bottles of drinking water can be bought in Thai supermarkets for roughly 6–10 THB. I understand that minibar items can be charged, but in this case the presentation was confusing, the price was extremely high compared with the local retail price, and the distinction between the complimentary bottles and the minibar bottles was not sufficiently clear. Overall, the hotel has good potential, but in our experience it needs significant investment in maintenance, cleanliness and attention to guests' needs. Unfortunately, these issues made the stay much less enjoyable than we had expected.
