White Water Rafting Ubud Bali With Hotel Transfer

Amazing experience. It’s was really great. We were picked up on time in the morning, at the water place we were briefed and off we went. You have to walk down some stairs to the river, a lot of stairs, but once down it’s brilliant. The rapids aren’t that bad and it’s fun, the guide on the boat was great. I’d recommend this to everyone, even to young children.

Superb, brilliant time experiencing the jungle whilst white water rafting. Completely safe, my wife was a little anxious before, but all her fears disappeared with the excellent raft guide Su and his professionalism. Top trip that we will doing again. Little heavy on the legs however due the long trip down 500+ stairs to the start and 300+ stairs to climb back at the finish. Overall still would reccomend the experience.

We had an amazing time river rafting in Bali! The rafting itself was so much fun and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The river, scenery, and excitement made it an unforgettable experience. However, the walking before and after the rafting was quite long and made us really tired, so be prepared for that. Aldi was friendly, reliable, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the experience. He helped make everything easy and stress-free, and we felt safe and well taken care of. We highly recommend Aldi to anyone looking for a great driver and an unforgettable rafting adventure in Bali!

We are a family of four, children aged 11 and 13. The guide was so much fun, whilst making you feel completely safe. Good quality equipment was provided (life jacket/helmet) and the lunch after was really welcome. We had a great time - well worth doing!

Definitely a must do during a stay in Ubud. Its very safe, i had my kids with me and my youngest is only 6. Theres a long walk down to the river, but its very enjoyable as its through the forest. The guides are really well trained and entertaining, the water is clean and the whole thing is about 90 minutes.

We had such an amazing experience! I went with my mum and we both had the best time. Our guide, Deki, was absolutely fantastic such a great guy who kept us laughing and made the whole experience so much fun. There are quite a lot of steps along the way, but Deki was incredibly patient and made sure we took our time getting up. He was always checking that everyone was safe and comfortable, and he was especially amazing with my mum, who needed a little extra time. He never rushed her and made sure she felt supported the entire way. Deki was also great at taking photos and made sure we got lots of amazing memories to take home with us. He even had a waterproof bag to safely keep our phones and belongings in. Our driver, My, was also fantastic and did his best to get us through the traffic as quickly as possible. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun day. A huge thank you to Deki for making our experience so special! 😊

My kids and I had the best experience white water rafting. Our driver was lovely and our rafting guide made the ride so fun for everyone. Lots of laughs, beautiful scenery and plenty of excitement.

Absolutely fabulous. This was one of the highlights of our holiday, and it went so smoothly. We were picked up from our hotel exactly on time by our very nice driver called Nova. We were taken directly to the registration office to check tickets and get our kit. We had a locker for our stuff, and had a quick van ride to the starting point. A lot of big steps to climb down but it was fascinating seeing the jungle this way. Our guide Abby was amazing, he made it very safe and lots of fun. The scenery along the river is breathtaking and beautiful. It is literally the ‘Jungle Book’ in real life. All the staff in this company were so polite and attentive . We had a nice break about half way, and stopped for photos and video at a spectacular jungle waterfall (standing right under it !). We will definitely be doing this again next time we come to Bali !!

Spectacular. The white water rafting was bumpy and adventurous. Amazing waterfall with pressure strong enough to bury your feet but is very fun! Only two things i wish I knew is 1. You will spend 15 dollars on a waterproof case if you bring your phone. However, unknown to us, there is a waterproof bag brought with them. You can leave it in. Ideally, I would have brought a zip lock bag or cheaper case elsewhere beforehand as the quality wasn't amazing anyway. 2. Bring a change of clothes and sunscreen!

Nova was amazing driver, on the way to rafting he showed me all different part of Balinese culture. Lovely experience! Water rafting was unreal, you don’t have to paddle too much, river was refreshing and the guide was so much fun. The views unreal 😍 the lunch soo sooo good probably best I’ve had so far here(2 weeks in) highly recommended!

The hotel transfer made this trip possible fo me. Agung was an excellent driver. He was on time, polite, and very communicative. His fun personality made the 1.5–2 hour ride to the rafting site fly by. The whitewater rafting itself was a true adventure! The guide was wonderful, and the whole experience was definitely a highlight of my trip. However- to get down to raft, had to go down steep steps (many many of them). I had ankle surgery, still not 100% and found it difficult.

Great experience, well organised & immense fun! Mr Merry picked us up right on time & took us off to the actual venue. There you can use a locker (50,000 cash deposit) you can change & shower there too. Safety hat & life jacket issued, followed by your paddle. You then jump into some open jeep type car & they take you to the start. Now, warning! There is about 300 uneven steps down, so just take your time with them! The waters were great because we've had so much rain (every cloud & all that) it was great fun & just 4 of us & our 'captain' At the end there is another 300 steep & uneven steps back up... You'll have earnt that beer! It was a first for me & we loved it. Not too scary. Mr Merry then dropped us off, on route back, in Ubud at our request & kindly dropped our bags at reception of our starting place, really was appreciated. Can't fault the experience

It was nice, but very easy and nothing like the images portrayed with lots of steep rapids, there were no steep rapids. We stopped for a long time at a small shop on the river, and if you’ve already eaten and don’t want crisps, cup noodles, or a Bintang, you’re left sitting there waiting for over 30 minutes. Lunch was at the end when returning to the Rapid Headquarters and consisted of rice and chicken that had clearly been sitting out for a long time. I didn’t eat it and went elsewhere for lunch instead. Pickup times weren’t well managed. I was collected 30 minutes late and then had to wait again for another couple, meaning only three of us went. If pickup had been on time, I would have been in a larger group with multiple boats, which looked much more fun. As expected, the water was brown and there was a lot of rubbish. The guide, however, was jovial and good company. Would I do it again or recommend it? Probably not.

At first I thought this was a scam because they weren’t responding to my messages. The site doesn’t give you much info and neither do they, but I am glad I chose this company and will break it down for you here. You’re supposed to use WhatsApp to contact them and let them know where you’re staying- I recommend asking them what time they will pick you up as well- in my case, they were 15 minutes early. There’s usually a lot of traffic in Ubud, so they probably just lucked out and didn’t hit traffic. Bring some cash for renting a locker and tipping your guide. I don’t recall if we had to rent towels, but they do have a shower available and they provide you with lunch that is actually really good/filling. (I am yet to have gotten sick, so I assume safe to eat). It’s a bit of a walk down and up but nothing a normal person can’t handle and almost completely on stairs. I am slender but my cardio is crap and I still managed to do it in cheap flip flops. It’s also gorgeous and I’d prefer to see the country like that vs. being dropped straight into the water. I probably wouldn’t have a very small child or physically unable people try to do the walk. Most of the walk was in the shade, but we still had on sunblock on. They’ll take photos and videos of you and it’s hit or miss on how they look, but they do give you the option to buy them and see them prior to purchase. You can also buy a waterproof case for your phone and hope someone on the boat is willing to take your photo/video. Luckily, we had a guy with a waterproof phone holder who agreed to take photos of all of us and I bought the package since it was my daughter’s first time rafting. The guide was hilarious, the gear was fine, the food was good, the communication was mid, the route was amazing (December 2025- rainy season), so overall great experience. I did buy the package to see the volcano as well, but it was POURING rain so we couldn’t see much and were kinda wiped after the rafting anyhow.

Great experience! We had fun 😁 Lunch after was very tasty and we could have also gluten and egg free option because of allergy. Our driver Bawa was very good, pick up and return was smooth.

The white water rafting was awesome experience and all staff and driver were super helpful and friendly. It was strongly advised to try splash the other paddlers. The scenery was amazing and a few waterfalls. Would definitely do it again

This was so fun! Everything went so smooth and it was the perfect first rafting experience for my kids. The pick up to the drop off was well organized and fun. The only thing was they took pictures along the way for us for purchase but then we never were offered the opportunity to look at them to see if we wanted to purchase them. Anyway it was a lot of fun!

Would recommend to everyone. It started off with our driver Nanda. He was the best driver for my weeks long Bali experience for anything. He gave us great info & helped plan the rest of our trip. The rafting itself was exciting. A lil journey to & from the rafting, so for older individuals, I would give a warning but the rafting was so fun. Will do a 100 times over with Nanda was the driver.

So let me tell you a little bit about Mr.Mary such a nice dude and has great English has lots of recommendations if you want them. Chats when you want to chat and is completely silent if you are having your own conversation, fantastic guy.

What a blast !! Nova our driver was really good . He arrive exactly on time , was very friendly and polite . The rafting itself was amazing , not too extreme but extreme enough to make us giggle ! . Our family of four had an incredible time rafting with Rukmana Bali Tour. We were picked up from our hotel in Nusa Dua by Nang Septa, who was friendly and professional, and returned around 5pm after a full day of adventure. The Ayung River rafting covered about 9 km. The rapids were mild but so much fun, making it perfect for our first family rafting experience. Our guide, Alit, was knowledgeable, energetic, and a joy to be with. We felt completely safe and could relax and enjoy every moment. After rafting, we freshened up in the changing facilities and enjoyed a delicious lunch. The combination of adventure, stunning river scenery, and excellent service made it a truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this tour for families or anyone looking for a fun and safe way to explore Bali’s natural beauty.

was such a fun and exciting trip! The staff were amazing—so jolly, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. The so-called “big walk” mentioned in some reviews was definitely over-exaggerated—the walk was perfectly manageable for everyone. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and even the rapids were enjoyable without being too intense!

Great rafting experience and buffet lunch. Our driver Nova picked us up from the hotel and was very informative, providing us with recommendations for our travels around Bali. The rapids were fairly gentle and the scenery was enjoyable (apart from some rubbish in the river). Our rafting guide Rico explained to us that the riverbank does regularly get cleaned by hand. Rico was an amazing guide, having a joke with our 11-15yo girls and pointing out lots of wildlife such as monkeys, lizards, eagles, etc. Lots of steps which we don’t mind but some older people may not like the height of the steps as they were quite a drop on the way down with a few areas having steps that were steep and 1-1.5ft high.

We had a brilliant family day trip river rafting! Picked up on time by a friendly driver Yogik, the experience was smooth from start to finish. The rafting itself was great fun—exciting and well-organized. Be prepared for lots of steps down to and up from the river, but it’s worth it. Lunch was provided too. Loved it!
