Uluwatu Sunset Tour: Kecak And Fire Dance With Jimbaran Dinner

Ketut putra was wonderful, he was very informative and gave us facts about everything that we were seeing. He helped us with taking pictures to capture family moments and to make sure we too pictures of rhe best parts of the temple.

Had an amazing experience for this tour. Our driver Hari was very informative, helpful and on time. The show was entertaining and the monkeys were cute but do try and take your phone or sunglasses. The seafood dinner was delicious and we loved sitting on the beach enjoying the waves and fireworks.

Well worth taking this tour. Our driver Gusti filled us in on places of interest as we drove past them. He easily answered any questions we asked. The temple at sunset looked amazing and the monkeys certainly entertained as as we held tightly onto belongings! The seafood dinner on the beach was very good

Gusti was an excellent guide- provided plenty of information and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Nothing was too much trouble when we wanted to stop for a quick purchase on the way home. We would strongly recommend him and the four!

Wrote a review earlier about how awesome the whole tour was. But had to highlight how amazing our driver was. But forgot to mention his name. Mur was his name and as I mentioned before thanks for him I have my glasses back from the monkey.

We had wonderful evening with our driver Pande the evening tour was very good we got to rest and then go so the timing was perfect Pande took us to see the sunset it was so beautiful and the dinner at the end was very delicious,,Pande our driver was very patient with us and made sure we were enjoying ..Overall 10 out 10 ..

Ketut Putra was awesome! If I could give him 8 stars I would. My wife and I have been on a number of tours while here in Bali and he definitely made our trip to Uluwatu and the kecak dancing ceremony one of the tops. He guided us around, made sure we got our tickets, and protected us from the monkeys (ha ha). Save driver with good English skills. I highly recommend him.

Went to Kecak fire dance which was amazing then to a seafood dinner on Jimbaran beach which was very romantic. Lobster prawns and a band who came to our table and sang to us. Our driver Hari couldn’t do enough for us from shooing away monkeys at a temple to being our personal photographer. He took us to a coffee plantation which was an unexpected surprise as it wasn’t part of our tour . Thank you so much Hari we had such a wonderfully memorable day with you that we will never forget Highly recommend Hari as a driver such a wonderful informative man. Thank you again Hari so much ❤️❤️❤️

I had such an amazing time with the tour, but especially our driver, Nengah M. He was a great guide before we arrived to Uluwatu and ensured we were safe along the way. He graciously helped us with opening doors and providing an insight to Balinese culture which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend booking with this tour and requesting Mr. Nengah. For the actual Kecak dancing and dinner, I enjoyed the Kecak dancing and enjoyed the guiding pamphlet to understand the story behind the dance while seeing interpretations of the story through singing also. I enjoyed the crowd interaction for such a large audience. The dinner was in a nice setting— beachfront— which was peaceful, but a tad chilly for those who run colder, please bring a jacket or something ^.^ I personally don’t eat seafood, but the chicken was well seasoned and we were given a good amount of rice to go with our food. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Nengah!!!

Trip was good. I was expecting the dance to be on the beach and at the time of dinner. Overall it was a good experience. I loved our driver, Ketut Putra!! He was informative, friendly and fun! 🤩

YUDA was a fabulous tour guide and driver. He was able to give us tips and walked us through the property ! Even placement of where to sit so that we could exit quickly and avoid the traffic. He walked us through the temples and gave us recommendations about the monkeys ha ha He was very engaging! Lots of information about the beautiful island of Bali. There was one negative to the excursion and it’s not reflective of YUDA at all and that is why I still gave it a five rating. Our dinner experience at the end of the night was so disappointing. As soon as we got out of the car, we were greeted by a gentleman that informed us that we were on a pre-selected meal program. OK, we knew that. Took us to the beach and sat us a table where both of the tablecloths were incredibly stained. When I asked to be moved he said there were none that accommodate our group of six. He didn’t offer to change the clothes The meal was generic not flavorful, not what we experienced in Bali at all. The service was subpar . The only highlight of the evening was the entertainment. A small band singing and playing instruments. They were fabulous. If you’re going to book this experience, please ask what beach restaurant they will be using . Do not recommend Kampeong Seafood .

This was a last minute booking. Temple and dance was busy but made much easier by Gusti Eka our driver. Also kept us on the know about those cheeky monkeys so we made it back to hotel with all our belongings 😉

We had a wonderful day with Ketut! He went above and beyond in terms of service and flexibility, and gave us options of things to do regarding our day. Despite the horrendous traffic, he ensured that we arrived at our destinations in a timely and safe manner. Definitely would recommend him! Also a brilliant photographer and made sure that we were out of the monkeys’ way at Uluwatu Temple ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Kecak Fire dance was beautiful with lovely costumes and performances. The Uluwatu Temple sunset coastal views were breathtaking! Our driver and guide Ketut was very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we visited, making our tour more convenient, timely and safe so that we could get the best of the experience.

Great tour led by Mr Ketut Putra, experiencing great coffee luwak, the chance to admire the beauty of Uluwatu temple and ending the day with happy bellies at Jimbaran Seafood. Kudos to Mr Ketut for the friendly attitude and great sharing of Bali’s history and culture to keep the conversations rolling (sincere feedback coming from a couple of introverts). Husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves with the tour and service.

Had a tour package to uluwatu sunset tour. First stop was the variety of coffee and teas offered in bali. Experience was eye opening and appreciated the sampler sets to try the different flavours. Next stop was the uluwatu temple. Beautiful place and good views. Followed by the kecak dance which was very enjoyable with the sunset as the background. The story was well told and you can tell that alot of effort was put in to the costumes and the performance. Highlight was the Hanuman character. Super funny with the audience interactions. Lastly was the dinner at jimbaran with the ocean view. Good vibes. Food was alright and filling.

Amazing experience! The Kecak performance is absolutely a highlight of my time in Indonesia. And the driver, Aditya, was beyond 5 stars ... could not recommend more highly!!

Raj was a lovely knowledgeable, friendly happy Guide, he was on time, made us feel safe around the monkeys. Uluwatu kecak and fire dance was brilliant and very entertaining. The only reason we have given 3 stars is the seafood dinner that we had after, which was rushed, cold and very disappointing. A sad end to what was a great experience. I feel that viator should reconsider the restaurant that they use for the meal at the end. If this had been satisfactory we would have given 5 stars.

We were greeted by our driver Ketut Putra at our Villa which was great because you didn’t need to find where you had to go as we drove to Uluwatu Ketut would point out any landmarks and would also tell us what area we were in. Once at Uluwatu he took us to all the good spots for photos and he was a great photographer capturing the moment for my husband and I and even saving me from having my sunglasses stolen by a monkey. Afterwards we had a lovely dinner on the beach at Jimbaran and then was dropped off back at our villa we had a really nice day.

Great fun evening. Also learned a lot from our driver Raj about local village life and Indonesia colonial history.

Such a culturally rich experience led by an excellent tour guide - Nengah - who picked us up at the villa, explained the sites along the way, and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed in Bali.

Good seeing the temple and the restaurant was good.

Our driver and guide were both excellent: friendly, helpful and professional throughout, and the Kecak fire dance at sunset was absolutely amazing. Watching it as the sun went down was easily the highlight of the trip. Unfortunately, the tour itself was disappointing. We were taken to an unscheduled coffee plantation which was not included in the itinerary we booked. We were encouraged to sample and buy Luwak coffee, and a search afterwards raised significant concerns about the ethics of this type of tourist coffee experience, with this stop specifically red-flagged. Had we known this beforehand, we would not have chosen to visit. Tour operators should be transparent about stops like this rather than adding them to an itinerary without warning. More frustratingly, after spending time at the coffee stop, we were left with far too little time to actually explore Uluwatu Temple before having to get into position for the dance. After the dance, it then took around 1½ hours in the car to reach dinner at Jimbaran Beach. The setting was absolutely beautiful, but the meal was extremely disappointing: sweetcorn soup, seafood that we found inedible and a couple of pieces of melon. In total, this was an 8-hour trip and approximately 5½ hours were spent sitting in the car. That’s simply too much travelling for too little time actually experiencing the places we came to see. Three stars because our guide and driver were genuinely great and the sunset fire dance was spectacular. However, the itinerary needs serious rethinking: remove the unscheduled coffee stop, give guests proper time at Uluwatu Temple and reconsider whether the lengthy journey to a very mediocre set meal is worthwhile.

Excellent driver and guide! The Uluwatu tour was great! There's no way I would have attempted to navigate these crazy streets myself. Our driver, Ketut putra, was a master behind the wheel. Enjoy your time in Uluwatu and Jimbaran. Oh one more thing... a monkey jumped ony wife's back and tried to take her shawl. No damage done, just made her scream. It was hilarious! The stories are true, the monkeys are bold! Enjoy!

Our guide was excellent, the temple and Kecak dance was wonderful. The food was terrible, the restaurant was awful food was cold and dry. We had to ask for utensils and plates and then we had to go and find our own napkins.

We had a nice tour today with our guide, Pande. It was helpful that he picked us up early, which meant we had plenty of time to reach our destination and enjoy the traditional dance. The weather was lovely, and the dance performance was a great experience. We finished the day with a lovely seafood dinner, which was a nice way to end the tour. Overall, it was a pleasant day and Pande was helpful throughout.

Many thanks to our guide and driver, Mr. Ketut Putra. We learned a lot about the culture in Bali, and he was on point with all the best spots for photos. I was especially grateful for him making sure the monkeys didn’t get close enough to try to steal our things! 😂. He told us exactly where to sit so we could beat the crowd trying to all leave at the same time. That alone probably saved us a lot of time in traffic! 😅 The private tour was definitely worth it, as it gave us the flexibility to adjust the schedule to fit our personal preferences. We were able to skip anything that was not a priority for us, and spend a little more time on the things that we wanted to.

Had a fantastic afternoon and evening tour with Aditya. Uluwatu temple is in a beautiful setting, the Kecak dance is worth the experience, and the dinner at Jimbaran Bay was decent. Aditya was a safe and patient driver in the very heavy traffic and a warm and friendly guide. I highly recommend this tour, and felt it was excellent value for money.

The food was amazing as was the tour through the Uluwatu temple. Our driver also stopped off at a coffee place for a taste testing. The fire dance was interesting.

Our experience with Wijaya (driver/guide) was excellent. The traffic was ridiculous & it took us a long time to reach our destination, but he was an expert at dealing with the traffic. The actual Kecak and fire dance was mesmerising, and the setting and temple where it was held was equally interesting to visit. The monkeys were everywhere, and we witnessed how bold they can be in grabbing sunglasses, hats, etc, from unsuspecting tourists, so be careful. The seafood dinner on the beach on our way home was in a beautiful setting on the beach. It took the restaurant a long time to serve our meal, but a tasty corn on the cob from a beachside seller was well enjoyed. The traffic on our return journey was much better. I would highly recommend this activity.

Our guide, Ketut Putra was AMAZING!! He picked me and my 2 daughters up at our hotel and took us on the Uluwata Sunset Tour; Kacek and Fire Dance. It was truly an evening that we won’t forget and we will treasure the memories. Ketut Putra made sure we protected our phones and glasses from the monkeys who were known for stealing items off of guests (we watched it happen to others patrons on the grounds m). I. was thankful for his wonderful warm personality. He took photos with our phones of us and got us our tickets and located sears for us and then when the show was over all we had to do was send him a text. Rain is the bestguide I've ever met, so friendly and knows a lot, he introduced to us many local cultures and historical stories which helps us understand Bali even better. Especially when my friend said he wants to try Bread fruit. Rain drove around and spended more time to finally find out a vegetable stand, where we got bread fruit. So so thanks to Rain, really really appreciated your guide that day, we will 1000% visit Bali and you next year!

Without a doubt, this was one of the worst tour experiences I have ever had, and there are several reasons why I would not recommend booking it. For starters, I cannot understand why the company does not clearly disclose that the dinner location is more than an hour and a half away from the traditional dance. The logistics of the tour were extremely poorly planned. We spent approximately 2.5 hours driving to the temple, only to walk around while constantly worrying about aggressive monkeys approaching us and taking our belongings. We barely had any time to explore the temple before the traditional dance was scheduled to begin. After the dance, we then spent another hour and a half sitting in traffic. By this point, it was around 9:00 p.m., and everyone in our group was exhausted and feeling extremely carsick. We ultimately decided to skip dinner altogether and asked the driver to take us back to our villa. Overall, the tour was exhausting, poorly organized, and did not feel worth the time or money. Given the experience, I believe a full refund would be the appropriate response from the company.

An absolute must-do Bali experience! The cliff-top Uluwatu Temple offers breathtaking ocean views, the rhythmic Kecak fire dance at sunset is mesmerizing, and finishing with a fresh grilled seafood dinner right on the sand at Jimbaran Bay makes for a magical, seamless evening.
