Itinerary
This experience will enable you to explore the best of Ubud in one day, from rice paddies, to ancient Hindu shrines including the intricately carved Goa Gajah, known locally as Elephant Cave, and Gunung Kawi, carved onto sheer rock faces. Explore Ubuds cultural arts and crafts scene at Puri Lukisan, and the village of Petulu, where traditional crafts are still made by hand. Visit the formal Royal palace of Puri Saren Ubud, for a glimpse of the Royal lifestyle. Your local guide will be with you you throughout, starting at the Puri Lukisan Museum, renound for its traditional colorful wayang style paintings unique to Bali.
Exploring the former Royal palace of Puri Saren, where once the highest of Bali society gathered and entertained, and the last Balinese King reigned, with its stunningly intricate carved lintels and once gem encrusted vestiges.
A trip to any of Balis traditional markets, is always eye opening. On this trip you will explore one of Bali's oldest art markets. Here both traditional style handmade crafts are made before your eyes, as well as more contemporary art offerings and sculptures. Learn the art of haggling for a bargain with your guide, so you can take home a lasting memento and memories from your time in this part of the world.
Leaving the city and markets behind, we head out into the lush green countryside, passing rice fields on your way to Petulu Village. Be mesmerized by the lush terraced rice fields and vast flocks of Kokoan white herons, that frequent this side of the world to hatch their eggs, during the annual migration, before transferring back through breathtaking panoramic mountainside views to your hotel, where it will be time to say goodbye.

Was not very happy with this tour. We were all crammed into a mini bus which was not easy for the younger adults very difficult for the two older ladies. We were taken to places that were ok but no commentary or anything. The driver and guide were nice but one just sat and didn't say much and the other just drove. The batik place and wood place were good. The silver place was a mixed bag of heat and very pushy sales people. Would not do it again and would not recommend this tour.

Only took me places he got a kickback from, mostly expensive stores. No museums.

I wouldn't recommend this tour, it's not a good value for the price. One would be better off getting a driver from the hotel who will take you to the most interesting parts, instead of so called galleries where you are expected to make a purchase.

I highly recommend this tour. The temple is beautiful. Most of all this tour explains the history and culture of Bali. The paintings of the local Ubod artists took our breath away. We did not go home without bringing 4 pieces paintings. Weda our guide is a very good guide. He is knowledgeable of the messages he wants to impart. Most of all he has good manners and right conduct.

The trip to Ubud, Bali, is a must when visiting this island. The temple and the royal palace are already the approach of a value-hour. I was the only participant of this trip and very much regret that the guide wanted to fulfill my personal wishes, although this does not make detours would have. He wanted me necessarily result in a museum and to the Reistreassen I had but seen it all.
Positive was during this tour that the driver was on time, what with Tour East Indonesia is not always the case.
Unpleasant, however, was that the driver had constant bouts of coughing and I asked if he was healthy. He answered my question by saying that he had drunk too much the night before. For me it was uncomfortable, so I broke off the trip. Too Bad.
This guide, spoke of all the worst-to-understand English. In summary, the place is amazing, the sights amazing the performing mediocre

This was a good tour but be careful of tour guide bothering you to do private tours with them.

The tour was pretty basic. It was actually boring and we could go to the uBud palace and puri lukisan museum by ourselves. Our guide explained some things but it was not enough to make it interesting and worthwhile.

Really enjoyed the tour. The guides were helpful and made it an extra special day for me. Lovely!
