Ubud: Swing - Monkey Forest - Waterfall - Temple - Rice Terraces - Art Crafts

I had an absolutely fantastic day on this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a wide variety of what Ubud and the surrounding areas have to offer. What made the day particularly enjoyable was the variety. We visited Tegenungan Waterfall, the Tegalalang rice terraces, the Sacred Monkey Forest, Tirta Empul Temple and My Swing Bali, as well as stopping at local arts and crafts businesses along the way. It never felt like I was seeing the same type of attraction repeatedly — every stop offered something completely different. Putu, my private driver and guide, was excellent throughout the entire day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely seemed interested in making sure I enjoyed Bali rather than simply driving me from one scheduled stop to another. He explained things as we travelled, answered my questions and gave me plenty of time at each location without ever making the day feel rushed. One of my favourite things about the tour was getting opportunities to experience and support local Balinese businesses and craftspeople. I visited a traditional batik shop where I bought some beautiful clothing, stopped for a coffee and herbal tasting at Satria, and also picked up some locally made bracelets. These stops added enormously to the experience because I came away with things that will actually remind me of Bali rather than generic tourist souvenirs. My Swing Bali was another highlight. The location and scenery were beautiful, the staff were great and the swing experience produced some incredible photographs. The waterfall, rice terraces and temple also gave me completely different perspectives on Bali’s landscape and culture. Having a private air-conditioned vehicle and my own driver made a huge difference as well. Bali can be extremely hot and humid, and being able to get back into a comfortable vehicle between attractions made a very full day surprisingly manageable. Most importantly, this didn’t feel like one of those tours where you’re simply processed through a list of attractions. Putu helped make the entire day feel personal. By the end of the tour I felt that I’d experienced considerably more of Bali than I could ever have organised independently in a single day. I came back to my hotel absolutely exhausted — but in the best possible way! 😁 It was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Bali, excellent value for money, and an experience I would happily recommend to other visitors. Five stars without hesitation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a lovely day exploring parts of Ubud. Putu our guide was very knowledgeable we learned so much. We were able to take as much or as little time as we wanted.

What a wonderful day. Putu our guide was so friendly and informative. We visited Ubud, the Monkey Forest, the waterfall the giant swing some rice fields and a temple. We were given the chance to spend as much time as we wanted at each place. What a great way to see parts of Bali.

Our driver was excellent! He picked us up at our hotel and gave us a few different options of how we wanted to lay out our day and what we wanted to see. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the local culture. We saw many of the high points near ubud but from a local perspective. Our driver was especially helpful at the holy water temple and instructed us how the normal ceremonial process goes and what to expect. He took pictures of us everywhere we wanted and was very patient to wait for us to take as long as we wanted at each spot. It truly felt like a custom tour just for me and my two friends. Highly highly recommend!!!

A very memorable day. Driver Pande arrived on time and provided a lot of insight about Bali and Indonesia whilst on our drive to Ubud. Started off at a wood carvery shop, followed by a coffee plantation, where we sampled coffee. We opted out of visiting the temple due to travelling with a young child and wanted to focus on the swing, monkey sanctuary and rice terrace. The swing was pay per entry with unlimited use of 7 swings and complimentary drink, it is very humid here, it was approx $50 AUD per adult, which is more expensive than other places but you can swing many times and the staff take amazing pics. It wasnt busy at all. Monkey sanctuary is also pay per entry (less than $5 AUD p/person), the monkeys can be aggressive so keep your distance and don't have any loose items or food on you, keep in your bag as they are very clever and will take it. Rice terrace was a short visit as it was a long day but still worth the visit, pay for entry here also, again less than $5 AUD p/person. We enjoyed the view with some fresh coconut. Regarding the times, we left at 8.30am and arrived back to our hotel in Nusa Dua at 5.30pm, later if we visited the temple. We did not stop for lunch but had packed some snacks for ourselves. Overall Pande was very accommodating to our needs, allowing us to spend as much time as we need. We travelled in a clean air conditioned vehicle. This tour is definitely worth the price, highly recommend. Thankyou Pande for a lovely day.

Terrible service! Never using again, didn’t even receive the service and asked if I could get a refund and their not giving it. Their just money hungry and will take your money! Don’t fall for it

its a very long 12 hour day from Kuta with most of the time spent in traffic. we didnt even make it to the waterfall, athough the driver would certainly have taken us there without additional cost. but it was already an 8 AM to 8 PM day. the driver was a very good guide, especially informative at the temple, the swings were terrific and the lunch venue rather nice.

This was definitely an experience you don't want to miss out on. Our driver spoke great English if you speak English and was talking very passionately about every destination. Very recommended!!!

Our recent day trip to the Tegalalang Rice Fields and Waterfall proved to be an enjoyable holiday experience. We faced our fears by participating in the Swing, an activity that yielded memorable results. Our tour guide graciously allowed us ample time to savor local coffee and tea and other delights of the area. Due to my daughter’s apprehension of monkeys, we were unable to visit the Monkey Forest; however, we still managed to explore another site to aid in our satisfaction. We remain appreciative of the assistance rendered by Wayan and, therefore, we highly recommend the company to all.

Thank you to Komang for his hospitable welcome and punctual arrival to the villa. I had a very enjoyable day out and certainly recommend taking this tour, with Komang providing excellent care throughout. The experience proved to be well worth the money.

It is strongly recommended to obtain a tour in Bali, as the key locations and activities are far apart. Our driver Komang was extremely accommodating and friendly, giving excellent recommendations about the places to visit. Additionally, it was nice to converse with him throughout the tour.

I would book again for a tour, as I visited Ubud and some other locations, and had a safe and comfortable experience with an air-conditioned vehicle and an English-speaking driver.

We are very grateful to have had Putu as our driver and guide for the day. Putu arrived promptly and drove us to Water Temple, Swing, Tegalallang rice terraces and several stunning waterfalls. Komang arrived at the hotel on time and was able to converse in a high level of English. There was a 10 hour journey that took us from Seminyak to Ubud and we were able to visit a number of attractions, such as Monkey forest, Tegalalng, Waterfalls, Water temple , Art shop and a jungle view swing. We have already booked Komang for a ride to the Lempuyang next week.

Our driver, Ketut, provided us with an exceptional tour, highlighting some of the best attractions in the area. Our journey included a visit to the Batik Maker, the Silver Factory, and the rice fields, as well as exploring the Monkey Forest and Waterfall. Additionally, we experienced the Jungle Swing, providing us with exceptional value for money spent.

On this day, we ventured to Ubud and visited the Monkey Forest, the Tirta Empul Water Temple, and a mesmerizing waterfall located deep in the jungle. We had lunch at a cafe offering an impressive view of the nearby rice terraces and a swimming pool. It was a wonderful experience, enhanced by our accommodating tour guide, Putu, who proved to be an excellent choice. We are very appreciative of his efforts.

We had an exceptional day touring with Wayan, and could not more highly recommend this experience. Wayan was incredibly obliging in taking photos for us, and provided incredibly informative and insightful commentary on the waterfalls, coffee plantation, rice terraces, and local cuisine without being overly verbose. The return walk from the waterfalls was quite strenuous, so those with prior knee injuries should take greater caution. We cannot thank Wayan enough for his patience and hospitality throughout the journey, particularly when two of us misplaced our shoes part way through. We express our undying gratitude for the remarkable experience.

My partner and I had the pleasure of embarking upon a remarkable expedition accompanied by Komang, our experienced tour guide. Our guide was incredibly polite and courteous, always willing to take photos upon request and taking their time while we explored each location. Altogether, this was a marvellous journey and I highly recommend it to all.

Wayan, my driver, was particularly great - so punctual, he was able to customize an itinerary to fit my needs, drove skillfully, and was friendly throughout our journey. The swings and waterfalls were beautiful, and I was even able to take a dip in one of them! I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes, no matter where you go. Ketut was a remarkable tour guide, providing our group with invaluable insight and knowledge of the island of Bali. Through his guidance, we had the opportunity to explore areas of Bali not typically seen by visitors hailing from Seminyak or Kuta. I had an excellent experience on my first visit to Bali. Wayan, my driver, was particularly outstanding as he was very punctual, excellent in planning an itinerary tailored to my needs, had great driving skills and was friendly throughout the duration of our journey. The swing and waterfalls were marvellous. I would recommend that travellers bring a change of clothes and a towel in order to have the opportunity to swim at the waterfall. Furthermore, wearing comfortable shoes can also come in handy. My heartfelt appreciation goes to Wayan for aiding me in having a wonderful trip.

We can't rave enough about our tour with Putu! From the idyllic waterfalls to the delectable coffee plantation to the breathtaking rice terraces, we were spoilt with views and experiences that were made all the more fun with Putu's delightful company and abundant knowledge. The highlight was definitely getting to take a dip in the luscious waterfalls- what a memorable day! :D

Exploring the island of Bali is a great adventure. We had a fantastic experience doing the best of Ubud Tour. We visited some of the majestic waterfalls of Bali, took pictures of the beautiful scenery, and enjoyed the thrill of swinging on the Jungle swing. In addition, we visited some of the incredible temples, encountered thieving monkeys, and took in all the wonderful sights, sounds and smells of Ubud. It was truly a remarkable experience, one that we would gladly do again in order to explore other parts of Bali, also known as the “Island of Gods.” We were able to experience the diverse culture and natural wonders of one of the most magical places on earth. One of the highlights of the tour was strolling along the Monkey Forest, which is home to hundreds of cheeky macaques. Not only do these mischievous creatures engage in playful behavior with the visitors, but they also can sometimes be quite daring and will try to steal food from unsuspecting people. The beauty of the landscape was breathtaking. Everywhere we looked, from the pristine rice paddies to the lush jungles and cascading waterfalls, we were awestruck by the beauty of the area. We were able to spend time at some of the beautiful temples and take pictures of the spectacular views. Overall, it was an amazing experience doing the “best of Ubud” tour. We were able to take in the natural wonders, experience the culture, take pictures for keepsakes, and get up close and personal with the native wildlife. We highly recommend doing this tour if you want to explore all that Bali has to offer!

We had a wonderful experience touring with Mr. Komang as our driver and guide. He made the trip even more interesting by guiding us through the waterfalls and jungle swing, and was always polite, friendly, and had excellent verbal English. His fascinating conversations kept us entertained throughout the trip, even when stuck in traffic. Moreover, his proficient photo-taking skills left us with lasting memories of our trip. We were delighted and highly recommend Komang for a sightseeing tour of Bali.

Wow, our tour was so smooth and our guide was amazing. He explained so much about the places we visited, from Balinese culture to traditions - it was so interesting. Plus, he snapped some awesome shots of us at every spot! 10 out of 10!

Driver Wayan was spot on time. He ferried us to all the places on the itinerary and even when we went over time, he waited for us very patiently. I'm really pleased to have had him as our driver, he was happy for us to skip some spots that weren't of interest as we ran over time. Because of the traffic, we eventually finished 45 minutes behind schedule and he didn't even complain. Wouldn't hesitate to book him again. The rice terraces were stunning too! All in all, we were very impressed.

We were supposed to explore the rice fields, but we had to change our plans due to the fact that we had already scheduled another tour for the next day. Our driver was so accommodating and allowed us to go to some other places nearby. It was really cool to try famous Ubud Swings. Learned a lot about Balinese traditions, thanks to Putu!

Its my second time for booking with Wayan. All goes as planned and driver is flexible. I have visited few places such as Tegallalang Rice Terrace, Dtukad River Club and check in from my hotel in Ubud to Kuta. Everything went great. The driver came to the hotel to pick us up on time. We picked up the local SIM card at the airport, and hehelped to activate it, and all three days he was with us, drove us along all routes. Very calm, attentive professional, he drove very carefully. Wayan was always on time, gave valuable advice at the sites, which helped to save money.

This is a good deal since the car fits 5 people and the service is up to 10 hours. The driver are accommodating and knowledgeable as well. Speaks English well. He arrived 30 minutes early from the booked time. Driver already know the places to visit and shortcuts to avoid traffic so everything went so so good !

This package is great. The driver was very friendly and showed us everything without any rush. The waterfalls are worth seeing, do take your swimsuits with you and carry slippers. The coffee plantation and paddy fields were great places to click photos.

Our first day was welcomed by our friendly local driver, Mr.Putu. He took us to a cultural village Ubud. What a perfect way to welcome us on our first day. We didn’t need to worry about itinerary since our driver suggested very good places to visit and activities to do. Would highly recommend this service. Our driver Pak Ketut was on time and suggest where to go first. He is also very cheerful and always did trying to communicate with us. I really recommend booking a trip with Pak Ketut as the transportation here in Bali is difficult.

Second time using this and we got the same driver as before so everything was great! Pak Komang was enough as we were never late and everything was fine! We were able to visit Central Bali because of their amazing waterfalls! 100/10 recommend 💯🥳

Bali driver was very professional, he arrived 15-30 minutes ahead of schedule. He knew where to lead us when we had no idea. All restaurants and attractions have their own seating area. He never distrubed our privacy and was happy to wait for you for as long as you wish. Ketut was ok to take our luggage to another hotel so we didn't have to stick to one hotel, on our second day Ketut took our luggage to the scheduled locations and then dropped us off at the airport at the end of our trip to Bali. . . Highly recommended! Thanks Ketut...

Tour guide was really helpful and friendly. He showed us less known locations. Knows Ubud roads well and often used shortcuts to avoid traffic jams. Overall great experience. Whole trip was even more than 10 hours but they didn't charged us overtime. Thank you! Filled with fun conversations and visiting many activities. Would book again. Good to go with family or friends.
