Ubud Wonderful Day Tour

The tour of Ubud was incredible. Our guide Ketut was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We truly enjoyed the stories and history of the places we visited. While there was a great deal of traffic, Ketut navigated it with patience and care. It was a six hour tour, but it flew by. The highlights were the rice paddies, the coffee plantation, and getting to see some of the local crafts people. If you’re going to Ubud, we highly recommend you request Ketut as your guide!

Ketut was our guide for the day. I am sure there are many great guides in Bali but Ketut really was exceptional. His knowledge about Bali (as a native) and the local culture was so interesting and he was so willing to share this with us. Ketut was super friendly and funny too - cracking jokes and making the day really relaxing and comfortable. The tour itself was great and comms via WhatsApp before were great. We were keen to be flexible on the day and Ketut ensured that we were always happy and taken care of. From temples to monkeys to rice to coffee to waterfalls - all the stops were well thought out and exactly what we wanted and asked for. I really can't recommend him enough - we would not hesitate to use him again!

My husband and I had a great time on the tour with Ketut. Ketut picked us up from our hotel and met us with a lovely smile and enthusiasm. At each of the the stops Ketut was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot in return. Ketut made us feel at ease and the conversation flowed well in the car between each of our stops, and always made sure we had drinks and if we needed food. We took a tour with a fantastic guide named Ketut Ajus. His English was excellent and he was extremely knowledgeable. His vehicle was clean and well maintained with the very necessary air conditioning. He took us to local temples and to coffee and rice plantations. Once he had given us a tour he would give us time on our own to soak up the sights. He loved to tell us about local culture and how families in Bali supported one another. We asked Ketut to stop somewhere nice for lunch and asked him to join us, something we usually do with our guides as this is not only courteous but they help you pick something local that you may not try yourself. We paid approx £48 for the day and tipped him afterwards although people say tips are not expected. The Bali traffic is rather interesting and sometimes hair raising. A great game to play whilst travelling between point of interest is how many people or what cargo can the locals get on a scooter! I would definitely recommend Ketut

We had a day trips for 3 days which shows very popular places in Bali. Our quidance Ngurah is so helpfull, polite, kind and directing us very good. He has good knowledge about those places and roads of Bali ( in the traffic jungle it is perfect to have a good driver and he is a good photographer) You feel that he is like one of your family member. One of the best tours I've ever been on! Wira let me be in charge of the day: I spent as much or as little time at one place as I wanted to! I was especially fond of the coffee plantation and hot springs! The temples were lovely too. Wira is especially knowledgeable of all of Bali culture, religion, and the roads! He's an expert driver. Towards the end of the day, he took me to an INCREDIBLE Balinese restaurant serving crispy duck. One of the best meals I've eaten on my journey through southeast Asia! I would highly recommend any of his tours! Have fun! You'll love it!

The rice terraces were so beautiful! And so are local indigenous people. Ketut, our guide, took the utmost care of us and ensured our experience was unforgettable. He is so knowledgeable about the deep culture and believes of his people and history. He English is excellent and his heart is full of joy and happiness which shines so bright. I can’t imagine having anyone else to show us around and provide us with so much to take away. We will be returning and he will again will be our tour guide and a true friend was made!

Ketut is a driver, tour guide, photographer and historian all rolled into one! My heavily pregnant wife and I booked Ketut for a full day tour and we are so thankful we did. He was very thoughtful in planning our trip to take into account her pregnancy (eg. Not many stairs, safe walkways, away from crowds, driving carefully) - we felt very well taken care of and could really enjoy what Ubud has to offer. He showed us parts of Ubud we never thought of visiting. Ketut is a Bali native and is very well read on its history, it was like having a historian driving us around! On top of that he is an excellent photographer and gave us many digital memories to take home. His English is also excellent (though he is modest about it) and he was also very patient when we asked to make many impromptu stops for photo moments. All in all a great day out in Ubud thanks to Ketut. We plan to return to Bali with the extended family (10 adults) and will be calling him up again. Highly recommend.

Ketut has been our driver and tour guide in 2019 and now again in August 2022 for the best part of the month. He is extremely reliable, drives very safely, is very nice and very knowledgable on all things Bali. He is great with our kids and became part of the family when we toured with him. I also find his rates for trips very reasonable. If I could give a 6* or 7* rating then I would. Highly recommended.

Specialises in custom made tours and times, and quick to precisely respond to any query. He arranged a Nusa Penida day tour, and, later, a half day to Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temple and Kecak performance. Due to pandemic not yet overcrowded! Greatly appreciated, heartily recommended.

Ketut was amazing. We had 4 separate full day tours to different parts of Bali as a family of 5, most involving a lot of driving. Ketut is a thoughtful and informative guide. We had a great introduction to Ubud in Bali with a tour that covered a Hindu temple, rice terraces (with amazing swings and zip wires if you’re that way inclined), the monkey forest, a coffee plantation, wood carvers and a waterfall.
