What a spectacular day hosted by Kamcil our guide/driver for the day. We booked last minute and this is our first time booking via Viator so were unsure what to expect. Today surpassed our expectations and we created many beautiful memories expertly guided by Kamcil. We were collected at 7.30am sharp from our hotel in Seminyak for the drive. Although there is an itinerary Kamcil took the time to take us through what the day could look like and wanted to understand our interests so he could accommodate. Coupled with his local knowledge of the extensive queueing needed at some of the sights we felt very lucky to take in the Kampo waterfalls when in previous days rainfall had meant they were closed. Kamcil advised us to go there first and he was right. The queue was relatively short compared to usual and we came away with some stunning pictures. Kamcil took care of us and our belongings whilst we explored the various sites and taking photos. Highlights of the day for us are hard to pick out as it was all so much fun, but taking part in the spiritual bathing rituals at Tirta Empel guided patiently by Kamcil, Happy swing, the Kanta Lampao, the delicious meal of Nasi Goreng overlooking the picturesque rice fields at D'uma Sari Warang and the Teggalung rice terraces were fantastic! We are coming away not only with the positivity from the rituals, but some lifetime memories! Thank you Kamcil for taking care of us like family and tailoring the tour to suit us! We even managed to pick up some souvenirs from the coffee/tea plantation with so much to cover! A spectacular day with everything bespoke to us and most importantly at our own pace. 100% recommend a private tour such as this with Bali Travel Awesome!

This is a fantastic day out where you get to see the heart of Bali in the Ubud area. We visited 2 waterfalls, an amazing temple, ate a tasty lunch over looking the rice fields and then visiting more stunning rice fields to finish the day off. Darma was our guide for this fun packed day, he was on time, pleasant to be with and spoke great English. He was helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend we loved it.

Our tour in Ubud is so amazing, We have a wonderful driver Wardika who is very nice and fun to be with, he taught us a lot about Balinese culture, very good in English. He brought us to a lot of places, the waterfalls and the rice terraces is so beautiful, we ate at D’ Uma Sari restaurant for lunch and the food is so good and the ambience is so relaxing. All in all we enjoy our trip and we are so thankful to Wardika for making our tour to Ubod so memorable.

We had the most incredible day exploring Ubud with our wonderful tour guide from Bali Travel Awesome! From start to finish the experience was fantastic and exceeded all expectations. We started our morning with the iconic Bali swings, which provided the perfect opportunity to capture some amazing portraits and unforgettable memories. We then explored multiple beautiful waterfalls, enjoyed delicious authentic Balinese food at some gorgeous local restaurants, and took in the stunning scenery of Ubud’s lush rice fields. What really made the day special was Made, our tour guide. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and, most importantly, flexible. He happily adjusted our itinerary to suit our preferences and needs, making sure we got to experience everything we wanted without ever feeling rushed. His willingness to accommodate us made the whole day so relaxed and enjoyable. Everything was beautifully organised, and Made went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. If you’re visiting Ubud and looking for a tour company with at least one fantastic guide named Made, who genuinely cares about giving you the best experience, I couldn’t recommend Bali Travel Awesome highly enough. Be sure to ask for kadek Jarod such an awesome tour guide with great knowledge. We have 3 boys and he was unreal with them telling them about religion and history and answered all their questions. Way better than learning in a classroom. He’s very polite and punctual and even let me control the music for the car ride. The waterfalls themselves were great but be warned for one of them is more suited to the instagram models but it was still a great experience and very entertaining to see the young Balinese guy show the girls how to pose properly hahaha. The water temple was by far our favourite place the purification process was a surreal thing to experience and having kadek there to explain the whole process from start to finish in a way that our children fully understood it was incredible. I know our children will always remember that part of the trip. The swings looked really cool especially for photos but unfortunately for us it started to rain and didn’t look like stopping anytime soon so we gave it a miss. In saying that though we were thoroughly satisfied with our day and would highly recommend the tour for anyone looking to do something different and unique

The tour of Ubud was amazing! My tour guide, Marta did a great job explaining Balinese culture and religious context behind a lot of the traditions and history. He helped take a lot of photos at each location and recommend which temples were more aesthetic.

Had a great tour with Geda today. Geda was great and very friendly and he offered up his knowledge on various topics during the tour. We saw 2 waterfalls, the water temple, a coffee plantation and rice terraces. I would definitely recommend.

This was a great day visiting sites in Ubud! My driver Darma, was right on time picking me up and I felt in good hands with him all day. I was allowed to have input as to the schedule for the day and I enjoyed all the sites and the lunch which were all included. Highly recommend this tour.

My father and I had an absolutely fantastic day exploring Ubud with our guide, Darma! He was brilliant; incredibly friendly, chatty, polite and knowledgeable. He shared lots of interesting information about Balinese culture, history and the places we visited. Darma picked us up directly from our hotel and was an excellent driver. The car was very comfortable, with air conditioning and bottled water. We visited the monkeys, rice terraces, the waterfalls, a temple and a Balinese coffee plantation. Each stop was fantastic, and we also enjoyed a delicious lunch at an Indonesian restaurant. What really made the day special was Darma himself. He was such great company, happy to answer all our questions and made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each location without ever feeling rushed. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali. If you’re lucky enough to have Darma as your guide, you’re in for a wonderful day. Don't hesitate, book this trip! We had an amazing day, and our driver, Kadek Jarod was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was happy to tweak the trip so that we were completely happy. We have been on trips before, where it was obvious that the driver got rewarded for taking us places, but did not feel that this was the case with Kadek. We weren't rushed, but still saw everything. Kadek explained the differences in packages for the swinging, and helped us make sure we bought the best package for our family. He explained all about the water temple and the rice fields. Great trip to key sites in Bali We had a great trip with Marta - he arrived promptly at our hotel and we had a fantastic day on our private Tour visiting numerous sites, including: the monkey sanctuary in Ubud, a waterfall and water temple and a delicious lunch. Marta shared interesting facts about Balinese culture, history and Hindu tales which made our day extra special. He took really good care of us and we would highly recommend this trip.

We had a phenomenal private tour with Kancil! He was kind, professional and very knowledgeable of each area. We took hundreds of photos and the lunch stop was icing on the cake! The food was great, hot and fresh. I 1000% recommend booking this experience when you have just a few days in Bali but want to get the MOST out of one day.

There are a few additional charges but not much. The climb to the waterfalls is a bit of a climb but as I am 69 others can do it too too. Lunch was authentic food and very tasty. The driver was great and explained everything well

Highly recommend this tour and our awesome English speaking very friendly guide, Suta! We were picked up & dropped off at our hotel in Nusa Dua. The drive was beautiful and I felt very safe with Suta’s expert driving. Suta explained the temple customs and cultures throughout the day. The rice terraces are fascinating. Water during the day and Lunch at Warung D’ Uma Sari was a unique experience watching the ducks in the rice fields from our table. The Nasi Goreng and Real Fish tilapia were really tasty. We ate every bite. The waterfalls are beautiful too. We had an amazing day that we’ll remember forever. Thank you to Suta for all of the special care throughout the day and great conversation. I brought a group to Bali for their first time experience and we booked this tour, Jepun was our guide! When I liked about it was that it was completely customizable based on what we wanted, our timeline and the his suggestions! Having someone local that knows what’s going on in Bali and where to go and why we should be going there really did help out a lot. We started at the happy swing so that we can do the flying dresses which I do recommend because the dresses are much nicer and they give you assistance. Then we went nearby to the Ricefield, which were absolutely beautiful and while there there were so many other activities that we could take part of, and I did the zip line, a couple other ladies went and took pictures, while others just enjoyed the area and all the energy that was present! Once we left there, we went to lunch, which was a super local spot, and the food was delicious😋 We wanted to go by the temples so that we can have a spiritual experience and that was very nice as well. I will just advise that you will be getting fully wet if you partake. Our guide also let us know about any additional costs that we could incur at these different places so there were no surprises. We ended the day at Kanto Lampo waterfalls and because of his suggestions we did not have to wait very long in line💯 It was a great and adventurous day! One of the lady said this tour was worth the whole trip and this is the first day we left the resort and we have three more days!

A very interesting tour covering many places we wanted to see plus more, waterfalls, temple, roce fields, coffee plantation. Kadeck was extremely friendly and informative and catered to our needs. We kicked off our tour at 7:00 AM—early enough to beat the crowds, but still a comfortable start to the day. Our driver and guide, John, provided outstanding service and made sure the pace suited us perfectly. Kadek Jarott was amazing; he took me to some of the most beautiful places, and they were peaceful, with few tourists, so I really enjoyed the tour. He was funny and made sure I visited all the sites I wanted to see in Bali- the swings, the temples, and the waterfalls without feeling rushed, especially since I was here just for a day.

Kancil was a wonderful tour guide! He gave me so much insight about Bali. This was my first time here and he made the tour extremely comfortable, allowing me to spend as much time as I wanted at each destination. He took me to locations that were less touristy so some spots had smaller crowds. He also recommended foods to try and his car was very nice.

I only had 1 day on the mainland so I booked this to experience as much as I could and WOW. John was so much more than a driver, he took the time to talk me through so many elements of Balinese culture- I learned so much! We went at a good pace and nothing was rushed. His English was fantastic so communication was easy which is always a relief. It was a long but enjoyable day and John was able to pick up and drop off even though this was a much longer day for him with fuel shortage, he did so without complaint. I would highly recommend!
