Honestly cannot recommend Ari enough! He was professional, knowledgeable, funny and just really easy to spend the day with. We started at the rice fields and somehow had the whole place to ourselves — not another tourist in sight. It felt really special and almost like proper VIP treatment. From there, Ari took us to his local village where we learnt how rice is traditionally processed and even got stuck in helping his uncle, which was such a brilliant and genuinely authentic experience. Throughout the day, Ari taught us loads about Balinese culture, religion and everyday life, but what we really loved was how personal it all felt. He chatted to us about his own life, family and what he likes doing in his spare time, so it felt much more like spending the day with a local friend than being on a standard tour. We’d originally planned to visit a popular café, but told Ari we’re not big fans of crowds and prefer proper local food. He completely got it and took us to his favourite warung instead. We were the only tourists there, the food was lovely and the jungle views were absolutely beautiful. We also casually mentioned wanting a coffee, and of course Ari found us another amazing little spot with locally made coffee and tea and gorgeous jungle views. He completely tailored the day around what we actually enjoy, rather than just ticking off the usual tourist stops. Such a fun, personal and unforgettable day. Thank you Ari — genuinely one of the highlights of our trip!

Lia was amazing driver and accommodated everything we needed in Ubud. My mother is 73 and she helped us find all the destinations that allowed me my other to safely explore and traverse. At the rice terraces, he shared interesting insights about the farming process and local life, making every stop even more meaningful. Throughout the tour, Nick helped us with translations, made sure we were treated fairly everywhere we went, and always looked out for us. We especially appreciated how flexible and spontaneous he was, adapting the itinerary to our individual wishes. When we wanted to fly our drone, he even spoke with the local owners in their language to make sure they were comfortable with it and that it was allowed before we flew. No matter what we asked, Nick had an answer. Every single question we had was answered with confidence, detail, and enthusiasm. There wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer, and his knowledge about Bali was truly impressive.
