Ubud Instagram Spot Tour With Photographer

This was fantastic experience, the photographer, Nyoman, was brilliant and his photos were spot-on. Day before the experience we had a chat on what we'd be doing and providing recommendations on the experience and providing flexible schedule that suited our needs. He absolutely went the extra mile for us and I couldn't recommend this activity more when you are looking for a photo session activity.

​Please note that the entrance fees for the Swing and Tegallalang are additional. The package only covers the photographer and the car, so the total cost could be more than you expected. ​However, I am very satisfied with the package because of our friendly photographer, Nyoman. We were with two children who are very energetic and never stop moving, but he tried his best to make them happy and engaged during the shoot. ​I haven't received the raw and edited files yet, but I'm really looking forward to the family photos. It would be nice if there was an alternative option instead of the swing, but it is still recommendable.

We had the pleasure of having Dono as our photographer, and he was absolutely amazing. He guided us through the whole process with great posing suggestions, which made everything feel natural and fun. We visited Happy Swing and the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and he captured so many beautiful moments along the way. Dono was very experienced and allowed us to truly enjoy our day without feeling rushed. He was also extremely friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We received a large selection of photos via Google Drive and can’t wait to see the edited versions. Highly recommend him for anyone looking to capture their Bali memories!

I’m a solo traveler to Bali, and I booked this tour thinking: “Other than a few selfies, a whole lot of landscape shots, and occasionally bothering a stranger for a picture, what photos will I really have of my trip?” This tour takes photo documenting to a whole new level. I was assigned Kadek as my guide for the day, and he FAR exceeded my expectations. He arrived 5 minutes early in a clean, air-conditioned van and greeted me with a friendly, knowledgeable energy that set the tone for the day. *Rice Terraces* – picturesque, expansive, and simply breathtaking. *Happy Bali Swing* – soaring over the rice terraces with several photo stops. (Tip: you can rent a “flying dress” in the color of your choice—I brought my own but wish I had known!) *Coffee Farm – a delicious and relaxing stop with 14 teas and coffees to sample, plus the chance to try the famous Kopi Luwak. *Waterfall* – our final stop, 90 steps down to a beautiful scene surrounded by walkways full of fish and cooled by a refreshing mist from the falls. The entire day, Kadek was skilled at capturing moments I’ll remember for a lifetime. He knew the lighting and angles, gave me tips on posing, and got me into every prime photo spot *before* the big crowds arrived. I never had to wait in line for a single shot, and we didn’t have to fight for parking or elbow room—which, in my humble opinion, is priceless at these kinds of places. Don’t wait—book this tour, request Kadek, and you won’t be disappointed. I’m already fawning over the photos he took, and I still haven’t even seen the touched-up versions he’s working on!

Kadek was excellent as a driver and guide for my solo trip to Ubud. He knew all of the perfect spots and was open to being flexible in changing the itinerary to my interest. Highly recommend for anyone in Ubud!

We had a great time with Nyoman. He picked us up on time at our hotel. His car was clean and comfortbale. On the drive to our first location he explained a few things about living in Bali and talking to him was very easy and pleasant. During the photoshoot he provided detailed and easy to follow instructions for the poses. He sent ALL (around 200) photos as jpeg via google drive so that we could choose the ones he should edit. The photos were great and we would recommend booking with him!

We had such an AMAZING experience with Kadek’s team for our anniversary photo shoot in Bali. Kadek’s assistant, Nyoman, was the best guide and photographer we could have asked for. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable of Balinese culture, which really made that entire day much more special. The photos he took were perfect and always made sure to get the perfect shot at each location. If you’re thinking about booking a photograph during your stay in Bali, couldn’t recommend this highly enough!

Kadek Berto was our driver/photographer and made a wet afternoon very entertaining😊. He kindly picked us up from the Nandini Jungle Resort in Ubud and did try to get us to start earlier because of the weather changing, but we were asleep! The Happy Swing was our first stop but it rained so hard that we moved onto the coffee plantation to sample some of the traditional Balinese teas/coffees. The rain started easing, so we returned to the swing and were the last/only people at the end of the day,perfect! It wasn't mentioned in the tour but Kadek then took us to a restaurant nearby and left my Wife and I to have a delicious and very reasonably priced meal, sat next to a koi pond. Our first visit to Bali, so nothing to compare the tour to, but for us we were more than happy with the experience which ended up being 5 hours from start to finish. A great start to our holiday and can't wait to see the finished pictures😊

I went on a solo trip to Ubud and booked two tours with Ubud Activities as I thought it would be a great way to capture my trip. They were super amazing and friendly, and were very accommodating to my schedule and helped personalise two half-day tours around Ubud. Kadek was my tour guide and photographer, he’s super lovely and funny. He was able to offer many alternative destinations and is very knowledgeable when answering my questions about Ubud and Bali. He took amazing photos and always had really great ideas for photos and even videos. He also has a sick playlist that we listened to when driving to and from places. I would highly recommend booking this, whether you are travelling alone or with others. It’s the perfect tour that comes with a photographer who takes amazing photos :)

My wife and I travelled to Ubud to celebrate her birthday and we wanted to make it memorable by getting some really nice photos taken at the rice terraces site as well as some of the swing activities that the place offers. Nyoman was amazing as a photographer, and one of the nicest person we met in Ubud, we are really glad we booked this experience with him and we cannot wait to see the last batch of edited photos in just a couple of days!

Nyoman took very good care of us throughout the tour! We learned so much about the culture and history of all the places we toured. He was also a great photographer, he told us exactly what to do and the pictures came out great!

Bertho our guide and photographer was awesome!! He went above and beyond to make sure our tour was enjoyable. He gave us all the time we needed at each site and even taught us some cool tricks with our camera that we will keep using for pics

At the very last minute, we decided to go with the drone package and we were so happy with the results! We normally like to put together video compilations for our travel adventures and the drone footage was the perfect addition to your videos. It was quite the trek especially with a 3 year old but it was worth it since we were able to get skyhigh shots without anyone else in the videos.

Best of all when my asthma got the best of me at Taman Sari Kadek was incredibly patient and even changed our next location so that I could rest. This tour is a scam, please beware and do not waste your money. We booked based on the following itinerary - Aloha Ubud Swing, Uma Pakel Agro Tourism, and Tegalalang Rice Terrace. We requested to start earlier than the published time on the understanding that we are also finishing earlier. As soon as we were picked up by driver Kadek, we were taken to a place called Happy Swing Bali, not Aloha Ubud. At Happy Swing, we were initially told that we could had to pay for a full package of 300,000 IDR to enter the rice terrace to take pictures, and there was no option of just paying the entry fee to the terrace since we did not want to do the swing. After questioning this for a while (and being mocked in front of us by the staff at Happy Swing Bali on our accents), we were charged 50,000 IDR per person to enter the terrace - a complete waste of money because you will then pay 25,000 IDR to enter Tegalalang for the same activities/photo ops. We kept questioning Kadek on why we were taken to Happy Swing Bali when this was not part of the agenda. We were then taken to Tegalalang terrace which was a much better place. Kadek was certainly no professional photographer - the pictures he took can be taken by yourself with your phone and even this may be better than what he took. The experience was so bad that instead of going to the coffee plantation, we requested to be dropped back to our hotel. As also advertised that you will receive bottled water, I can confirm that you will not.

I can not recommend this tour enough. We got started early and were ahead of all the crowds. Fantastic photos and such a fantastic guide! If you’re looking for a great way to see popular spots and fantastic pictures and videos, this is the tour for you!

My husband and I planned this shoot very last minute on our trip and we were pleased to find the perfect photographer. Not only did Nyoman take us to the most beautiful waterfall and rice field, he made us feel comfortable. He is so talented with photography and does amazing with drone shots as well. He was a real gem to work with!
