The guide and the tour were great! We went to different waterfalls and temples as well as silver and wood craft places. The guide adapted his itinerary to what I also wanted to see so it was really nice! The tour began at 8:30am and finished at 5pm but it can be adapted. I recommend! :)

Traditional Balinese House Compound is one of the best place to visit in Bali. That located in the village of Batuan, Gianyar regency, Bali. 45 minutes drive from Denpasar airport. The buildings are mostly designed by Balinese architectures taking daily social Balinese life concept pointing out the hospitality. It is very charming concept of house building consisted on several building with different purpose of activities.
Campuhan Ridge Walk is a free and easy nature trek, popular among repeat visitors to the central highland town of Ubud. The area provides a great retreat from the more hectic southern parts of the island, but this trail presents an even more pristine outback to escape from the contemporary boutique, guesthouse and restaurant-lined Jalan Raya Ubud. While the hike lets you enjoy cool fresh air and probably the most gorgeous hillside vista in the region, it also allows you to shed off some calories too with its nine-kilometre hill track.
The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.
One of the busiest water temples in Indonesia, Tirta Empul is a temple considered sacred by Balinese Hindu community. The temple has several holy springs which are said to have been created by The God Indra and believed to be blessed water that could purify those who bathe there.
Tegenungan Waterfall is one for nature lovers who happen to be staying in Ubud or have neighbouring Sukawati among their tour itineraries. The falls are conveniently located halfway between Ubud and Bali’s provincial capital of Denpasar, and is considered the closest natural attraction of its kind that you can reach within only a half-hour transfer southeast from Ubud town. Getting to the falls is a pleasant drive down paved village roads lined with stretches of green rice fields on both sides.

There were no rice terraces, only rice growing in back yards. Surface of track needs attention. Very busy. Shouldn’t really be advertised as a tourist attraction.
It was a great trip. Netra was a great guide and driver. We had a flexible tour thanks to our guide. He patiently wait while we handle some job and conversations. I would be glad to repeat this tour with same guide🙏
Amazing experience, guide very kind and professional. To do again!
Great trip around Ubud: rice terrace, monkey forest, Ubud palace, and more. Great to visit the area without hassle.
I spent my all day with my guide Mur and I had a such good day with him. Don't miss this experience. Thank you again for the memories.
Really interesting tour. Great guide - Naya. He was very knowledgable and entertaining. Everything went to plan except the weather (rain in the afternoon). But that did not spoil the day. The tour provides a good way to start to see some of the sites in Ubud and its surrounds.
We had a truly unforgettable experience on the Ubud Countryside. From the very start, our guide Netra was incredibly punctual, professional, and friendly. He drove very safely and shared fascinating stories about Balinese culture and traditions at every single stop. The itinerary is packed with beautiful scenery. We loved exploring the stunning and scenic locations. Throughout the tour, Netra never rushed us, made sure we were completely comfortable, and even took spectacular photos of us at all the best viewpoints. We highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a seamless, personalized look at Ubud's countryside. Ask for Netra for a 10/10 experience!
We has very good time with Netra on our Ubud tour, he picked us up on time, shown everything around and explained a lot about the places. Our kids loved him from first moment. We highly recommend Netra for future tours around Bali and Ubud.
Fantastic first day in Bali. We covered a temple gate, rice terraces, a volcano viewpoint, a gorgeous waterfall, and a temple with very cheeky monkeys, all without feeling rushed. The early start meant we had the waterfall almost to ourselves. My tour co-ordinator was Wayan Netra. On time, clean cool car, safe and smooth on Bali roads, great English and local stories on every drive. He helped take a lot of photos and took better pictures of me than I take of myself. Tip: travel light to the monkey forest.
Excelent, the guide Wayan was amazing, just perfect
The tour was amazing, the guide Wayan was fantastic and proportionate a love day starting from a small coffee plantation ,then noove to the monkey temple followed by a nice visita to the Rice terrraces. Then luch in front of Vulcano and we end up on the waterfalls. We couldn't ask a verter. Thanks Wayan 👋🏻hope to see you sooner.
Our experience in Ubud was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Netra. He took me and my family to all of the must-see sights around Ubud while also showing us hidden gems that we would never have found on our own. From the very beginning, Netra was incredibly friendly, professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. He shared fascinating information about Balinese culture, traditions, and history, making every stop much more meaningful. He never rushed us and always made sure we had enough time to enjoy each location and take photos. What really made the difference was his kindness and genuine care. He made us feel welcome, comfortable, and safe throughout the entire trip. His recommendations for local food and viewpoints were fantastic, and he was always happy to answer our questions with a smile. If you're visiting Bali, especially Ubud, I cannot recommend Netra highly enough. He turned a great sightseeing trip into an unforgettable experience for our whole family. Thank you, Netra, for making our time in Bali so special—we hope to see you again on our next visit! 10/10 – Highly recommended!
Amazing day spent exploring Ubud with our driver and guide Budi, he was really polite, punctual and made our experience delightful.
We had the most wonderful day with Raka. He was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend him.
We had an amazing time, and a huge part of that was thanks to our driver, Ariana. He made us feel like an old friend from the very beginning and gave us a wonderful day that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Ariana was so incredible that it is simply impossible to find anyone better. Highly recommended!
Hiring a driver or going on a tour is a must for Bali. My made it so easy to have exactly the day we wanted. We went to the Monkey forest, the art market, Ubud Palace and a waterfall. My was kind enough to take us to a grocery store and lunch. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Booked Mr Mur directly by recommendation from friend. Good driver, always ontime, great local knowledge of attractions and timings.
Excellent day trip in Ubud. We visited a number of great locations, including a beautiful waterfall, the monkey sanctuary, Ubud palace, had lunch overlooking the volcano and finished at the tea plantation. Our driver, Wayan, was very polite and informative. We were able to take as much time as we wanted at each location and Wayan was always on hand if we wanted anything, including photos! Strongly recommend this trip as a great way of seeing Ubud and the surrounding area
A great day with our guide Wayan today. We crammed a lot in that's for sure. A waterfall in Ubud, Monkey Sanctuary, Ubud Palace, Tea Plantation & Volcano.
What an amazing experience, Darma Fun Driver was so kind, had great information and info about locations we visited and things we passed, I recommend him as a driver👍.My wife and I were very happy.
Another amazing day with Budi as our guide! Volcano, rice terrace, waterfall, palace, and market in a day, what more can you ask for! Budi is AWESOME, looking forward to two more days of exploring when we return to Bali in 2 weeks with him as our guide!
The tour was well organized, we got to see all the highlights of the area. Our driver Netra was the best.
We had trouble finding out driver initially, as he was not outside the cruise terminal with a greeting card, as advised he would be. Once we did connect, we were whisked away to our first stop which was a typical Balenise house. Our guide explained, in broken English, the function of each "room" and how the locals lived in these properties. Very interesting. Next we stopped at a local art gallery and a hard sell to buy the locals’ paintings. Then on to a rice terrace garden. Beautiful place, even in the pouring rain! Next, 2 temples, both exquisite buildings with centuries of history. Finally, we had a quick look at the beach (not very impressive, very commercialised). A nice tour which got us acquainted with this beautiful Island. You have to spend much of the day in the car, in appalling traffic, unfortunately. We would have loved to have learnt much more about Balinese culture from our driver. But he was not very communicative.
We had a great experience and took lots of photos and videos. Our driver, Ariana, was super nice and very patient with us.
This tour was incredible! Wena provided great service and many details about the culture and history behind the different landmarks. He was friendly and went out of his way with our tour. Lots of amazing sites with this tour, would highly recommend!
Amazing tour! My tour guide was Budi and he was absolutely phenomenal!! Very friendly and professional. The sights were amazing! My favorite was having lunch at the volcano. Once in a lifetime experience. 10/10, highly recommend!
The Campuhan Ridge walk was not as expected, we were left at a starting point without a guide (got directions where to walk), and picked up at end point (still little confusing). Unclear what was the objective of this first walk. Remaining of the tour was a 10. Thank you.
Wonderful day out with a lovely driver! Five star rating - excellent. Visited all the main attractions including a few requested stops.
We booked a full-day tour starting at 9:00 AM, and our guide Wayan picked us up directly from our hotel. This was the first day of a 5-tour package we booked, and it immediately set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The itinerary included the Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Ubud Art Market, Kintamani Volcano (where lunch was included), Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and finally the Tegenungan Waterfall. It was a long, full day, we ended up returning to our hotel around 6:30 PM, but the pacing was perfect. Even though there was a scheduled return time, Wayan never rushed us at any point. We like spending enough time at each destination, and he always encouraged us to explore without pressure, even if it meant coming back later than planned. We visited Bali in November, which turned out to be a great choice: tourist presence was noticeable but never excessive. We never experienced the overwhelming crowds that a friend of ours encountered in August, and Wayan himself confirmed that the difference between high and low season is huge. Everywhere we went felt lively but comfortable. A special mention goes to Wayan, who was exceptional from start to finish. He managed to be informative, friendly and entertaining without ever being intrusive. He always gave us space when we wanted to enjoy a place on our own, and stepped in with explanations and stories at the right moment. One thing we really appreciated was his flexibility: every day he let us adjust the pick-up time based on our needs, and he was always relaxed and accommodating. Throughout the whole trip he also suggested changes in the itinerary depending on weather conditions, which allowed us to enjoy every location at its best. Another detail that impressed us was how confidently he drove around Bali without needing GPS, clearly knowing every road and shortcut. He also gave us honest advice, for example, at the Ubud Art Market he warned us that many products weren’t truly handmade, and offered to take us elsewhere if we wanted authentic items. It was obvious that his priority was always our comfort and satisfaction. As for the places we visited: The Ubud Monkey Forest was magical. The enormous trees, hanging vines and sacred atmosphere reminded us of scenes from Avatar. Despite the warning signs about not provoking the monkeys, our experience was peaceful: they were calm, uninterested in tourists, and the relationship between the keepers and the animals was beautiful to see. The Ubud Palace was a short but interesting cultural stop, and the nearby Art Market was lively and colorful, although definitely touristy. Thanks to Wayan’s suggestions, we knew how to move through it without being pressured into buying anything. Lunch at Kintamani Volcano was excellent. The buffet offered very good Balinese food (rice, chicken and local dishes), and the view was spectacular, from the restaurant, you can clearly see the shape of the original volcano before its collapse, which makes the landscape even more impressive. The Tegalalang Rice Terrace was one of the highlights. It’s undeniably touristic, but still absolutely stunning. The terraces are huge, and we spent about an hour and a half walking through just a portion of them. We also enjoyed the famous swing and took some great photos (my girlfriend even wore one of the traditional long dresses for pictures). Even in such a popular area, the number of tourists in November was perfectly manageable. We ended the day at the Tegenungan Waterfall, another location that feels a bit structured for tourists but remains very charming. The path is easy to follow, and the waterfall is powerful, refreshing and perfect for photos. Again, pleasantly busy but never crowded. Overall, this day was fantastic from start to finish. The itinerary was varied and well organized, the scenery breathtaking, and Wayan truly made the difference with his kindness, professionalism and genuine care. We could not have asked for a better guide. If you’re visiting Bali, we highly recommend booking this tour, and if you can, ask for Wayan. He will make your experience unforgettable.
Budi was great, courteous, knowledgeable, good driver, explained many of the questions we had, anyone who gets Budi will be very satisfied.
Budi picked us up at 8 am (right on time) in a large, comfortable, air conditioned SUV. Day one was a great combination of natural spots with a couple of visits to small shops specializing in batik and woodworking—quality goods. We enjoyed a walk through the Monkey Forest, lunch with terrific view of two volcanoes and, finally a trip to a waterfall. Budi was very responsive to our requests and is patient and knowledgeable. Looking forward to four more days with him!
Our driver Naya is a great driver. He is friendly and courteous. This trip has a long ride. The traffic is horrible. We wished there are more information provided about the history of different local visited. Naya has a heavy accent - we cannot get a complete understanding of info presented. All in all it was a fun trip!
A big thank you to Wayan Netra for this visit that will remain forever in our memories. Everything was perfect and very well organized, we visited the famous places (Tirta Empul Temple, Tegalalang rice terrace etc.) but also other places to discover the local life of the Balinese (temples, local paintings, coffee culture, etc.). Wayan taught us a lot of things and he is very kind, always smiling. He was also flexible for other visits, we took him for our visits the following days as Sunrise in Batur Mountain.
We had the pleasure of having Wayan as our guide, and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He is an extremely safe driver, very knowledgeable about the island, and has such a kind and calm personality that instantly makes you feel at ease. Wayan not only knows all the best places to visit but also shares great insights about Balinese culture and traditions. We can warmly recommend him to anyone visiting - he truly made our trip unforgettable.
5-Stars isn't enough to describe this tour. Mur is so knowledgeable, patient and an incredible guide. We never felt rushed and never had to look for him, he kept his distance but always kept us in view. The scenery is like something out of a movie. So much beauty that there arent enough words to adequately describe everything we saw in just 1 day. I highly recommend this tour and please ask for Mur, you definitely won't be disappointed.
Our Driver and guide Raka he went beyond customer service he was very informative about about our day trip teaching us things about Bali when we come back we will be would love to have him again and would recommend Eco Tours

We spent the whole day with Naya from Campugan to Tengallalang and the whole trip. He was super friendly and was really great with answering our questions not just about where we were going but about Balinese culture and life. 11/10 would recommend
The tour was amazing. My guide, Naya, had great energy and a fun personality. He was very accommodating and made sure everything went smoothly. We hit all our spots and had time visit the coffee plantation. I would definitely do this tour again.
We had a great trip today. We enjoyed the lovely scenery at Campuhan Ridge Walk, the Rice Terraces, and Tegenungan Waterfall. We also learned about local culture at Tirta Empul Temple and a Traditional Balinese House. It was a bit tiring but well worth it. A big thanks to our driver, Mr. Putu, who was also a great guide. He told us a lot about Bali’s history, culture, and religion, and we had good conversations. He was punctual, friendly, and patient. Thank you, Eco Bali, and Mr. Putu, for a wonderful day!

My driver Mur was absolutely fantastic! He looked after me the whole day and even took lots of photos of me without me even having to ask. I only had a day in Ubud so thought this was a great, efficient way to explore and learn about the area! Highlight of the trip was the coffee/tea plantation, would highly recommend this as a day tour!
