Itinerary
Ubud Monkey Forest is a nature reserve and also a religious temple complex with great significance to the local Balinese people. Home to about 340 Crab-eating Macaque monkeys, there is no doubt you will see masses of local wildlife in their natural habitat. The monkeys are split into 4 groups or families, and occupy different spots of the park.
Ubud Palace where the local people said by Puri Saren is one of the famous places of interest in Bali. It is the favorite places to visit during Ubud Tour. It is located right in the center of Ubud Village, the most famous tourist place in the island with live cultures are performed every night. It is featured by the Ubud King's Family Temple located in the north east of the palace.
Ubud Market it's tenants provide every souvenir item imaginable, from silver jewelry, and precious stones to batiks, T-shirts, beach sarongs, wood carvings, and cane work bags. Each stall is packed with goodies; some items are even hung from the ceilings. Since it's a traditional market, expect crammed allies and unpleasant smells every now and then.
Immerse yourself in an unforgettable adventure at Happy Swing Bali, where the thrill of swinging from a cliff meets the awe-inspiring beauty of the wilderness. Step into a world where adrenaline and natural splendor collide, offering you the opportunity to soar through the air against a backdrop of majestic landscapes. With each swing, feel the exhilaration coursing through your veins, as you capture breathtaking moments that will leave you in awe of the sheer magnificence of your surroundings.
The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offers a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafes near the ledge offering their ware.

Monkey forest and rice terrace was great! Completely worthwhile to see. Palace was nothing special and could have been missed. Our driver Mera shared so many interesting details about the sights along the way which truly added to our experience!
Monkey forest was great! Take a selfie with the monkeys, it’s was the best part! Rice terrace was amazing but the Palace was just ho-hum. Our driver Wena was very nice and attentive but we were disappointed that he wasn’t a “guide” so we didn’t get any insights into the local culture or sights that we passed along the way.
Fabulous trip. Budi our driver was wonderful, kept us on track for our itinerary and took us to a wonderful restaurant too. The most enjoyable aspect is he didn’t push us to do other things and was very good at giving us background information without overwhelming us! The little extras of bottled water in the car was gratefully received. I would definitely recommend this trip!
Amazing day, great exciting itinerary. Our driver Mr. Budi is very experienced and careful driver, made our trip relaxed and enjoyable. He is a great guide too!
Our guide was very professional and respectful. Always on time and his car was very clean. Monkey forest and rice terrace were great. The Palace is not worth the visit and art market is good if you want to do some shopping.
Darma was an outstanding guide, ensuring our day was filled with unforgettable experiences. From the playful monkeys of the forest to the majestic palace and vibrant art market, every moment was curated to perfection. His punctuality, knowledge, and warm hospitality made our exploration of Bali's treasures truly exceptional. And against the backdrop of scenic rice terraces, we captured memories that will last a lifetime.
Great tour of Ubud including the monkey Forest. Darma was a lovely tour guide and provided lots of information about the sites. Recommend :)
We did the half day tour with Nyoman & very much enjoyed seeing the real Bali. Nyoman was friendly, polite, prompt & very accommodating towards our needs & wants. We booked the tour the day before & got a confirmation email and text confirming everything - a very quick & easy transaction. Thank you again :-)
Great half day tour if you are looking for something shorter (I still left the hotel at 9am and got back around 3pm but it’s not a full day out). My driver Irwan was extremely friendly and taught me a lot about Balinese culture during the drive, which was wonderful. The monkey forest was fun and he guided me through and then dropped me off at Ubud Palace and the art market and asked how much time I wanted to spend and then he would pick me up after. It was nice having some free time to walk around. Our final stop were the rice terraces which were cool but honestly a a bit ruined with the tourism and all the zip lines and swings but still a very cool place to see and I assume the entrance fee goes to the local community. Overall it was a great tour to do as a solo traveler or even in a small group. Lunch and drinks are not included so I’d suggest bringing water and snacks and if you’re really hungry grabbing some food in Ubud when you’re there.
Excellent day tour; driver was prompt to pick up at the hotel. I was the only passenger, so it was a very personal tour. Thankyou Darma 😄 He spoke excellent English, & explained all the history, religion & culture of Bali & Indonesia, which made it such an interesting day!
Amazing activity, Monkey forest and rice terrace totally recommended, and nice time in Ubud for a bit of shopping and seing the palace. Special thanks to our driver/guide Darma!! Nice guy, explained everything and gave us plenty of time to enjoy every place
We had a fun trip, that was both personal and informative. We got to learn about Balinese culture, and our driver shared some of his experiences growing up and living in Bali. The whole trip was a lot of fun, and we'd happily book with Eco Bali Tours again.
Ajus our guide was terrific. Glad we have him tomorrow aswell. Monkey sanctuary and terraces were great. J would stay up at the terraces instead of main area of Ubud next time
Our tour started with a prompt pick up by Agus, right outside our hotel! Agus was friendly, knowledgeably, and extremely helpful - pointing out landmarks and points of interest throughout our journey to Ubud. First stop: Monkey Forest! Fantastic, amazing place! Accompanied by Agus, we learnt many facts, got photo opportunities, and were guided throughout the forest! Next Stop: Ubud town, palace and art market! Agus dropped us off and we had 90 minutes to explore the temple and the art market! Just enough time to grab some lunch too! Ubud is definitely worth a secondary visit, lots to do and see! Last stop: Rice Terrace Wow! Stunning! Agus took us down to the terraces, where we got our pictures for Instagram (ofcouse!!) as well as taking a moment to take in the surroundings! Agus then drove us back to our hotel after a busy and fun packed day! Highly recommend :)
Nice and friendly tour. We take our time with no rush. Enjoy every part of it (monkey forest, ubud market, rice filed and more)
This tour is recommended for the person whom wants to see the greener side of things as well as a part of the culture and jungle in Bali. It is absolutely breathtaking and definitely worth the trip. Our guide mr Putu was very friendly and informative, and he also gave us insights on various different things Bali has to offer.
It was a full day of touring, but so so worth it! Amazing driver and we had a generous amount of time at each place so we never had to rush. We got to see the best places in Ubud. Such a great experience!
