Tirta Empul Temple Tour With Spiritual Cleansing

Koman gave an informative introduction to the cleansing ceremony & the Temple. I have seen many options to visit Tirta Empul Temple but this one ticked all the boxes for me as I wanted to have some quiet time in the afternoon. Pick up at Ubud Palace was easy. It was a small group. We arrived at The Temple early, so no long queues for the cleansing ceremony. Koman provided details of each stage took great photos & was available to give prompts if needed. Lastly, we toured The Temple with details being shared on its history & importance in current day. We had great conversation too. Many thanks Koman for sharing your knowledge

What an absolutely incredible and meaningful experience at Tirta Empul Temple in Bali! From beginning to end, this excursion exceeded our expectations. The temple itself is beautiful, but what truly made this experience exceptional was our amazing guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough in explaining the history, traditions, and spiritual significance behind each ritual. He took the time to walk us through every step, ensuring we understood not only what we were doing but, more importantly, why these sacred traditions are so meaningful to the Balinese people. We never felt rushed, and his genuine passion and respect for the culture made the entire experience even more special. Participating in the water purification ritual was something we will never forget. It was peaceful, humbling, and deeply meaningful. As someone who loves traveling and experiencing different cultures, I truly appreciate excursions that go beyond sightseeing and allow you to connect with the traditions and people of a destination. We honestly could not have asked for a better guide or a more memorable experience. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our time in Bali. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bali. It is so much more than a temple visit, it is an opportunity to experience the heart of Balinese culture and spirituality.

The whole experience is wonderful. This was my 2nd time here ( but 1st with a guide). I would highly recommend Koman, i learnt to much and grounding into the experience and cleansing made it more powerful. The pick up was on time, journey less than 30mins from Ubud Central, the pace of the whole experience was perfect, so relaxed, never felt rushed. The cleansing and blessing was amazing, it is a MUST DO! for your Bali Trip. My next visit i will choose Koman

The instructions for pick up were accurate and Gede arrived bang on time despite the Ubud traffic! The early start meant we had the Temple to ourselves for the most part, no queuing or waiting and made for a more tranquil experience. Gede was very informative and taught me a great deal about Indonesian and Hindu culture. Thank you!

KOMAN IS THE BEST! He gave me the best and most friendly experience. Traveling solo, we met in a group and headed to the temple. KOMAN went in depth of the traditions and importance of ritual and gave us an amazing tour. After my day with KOMAN , I was left feeling pure happiness and beyond grateful for booking with him . 100/10 experience.

I’ve done Trita Empul last year too and I came again to do it this year with my mum I must say, the experiences with Koman was truly a beautiful memory. He took great pictures and explained everything with such details, which made me be able to relate to the whole ritual of purification to great depth. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to do Trita Empul.

What a refreshing, unique experience! Our guide gave an excellent and thorough overview of the temple, rituals, and cultural significance. He took the most amazing photos through the whole ritual so we didn’t have to worry about it. He speaks excellent English and was eager to answer other questions we had as well, providing lots of great recommendations for Ubud, even on the way back.

He managed my tour and water purification ritual at the temple, handled entry requirements, sarong hire for the temple and holy pools. It was a very frictionless experience, I’d highly highly recommend booking with him for this experience!

I had a really great experience with this booking. I was collected at the arranged time and place - communication was excellent. My guide for the morning - Putu - was truly lovely, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He took care of everything (entry ticket, locker, offering etc). While I was in the purification water going through the ritual, Putu took photos (some really great ones!) which was amazing. I would highly recommend this experience with this operator. It’s one of the best things I’ve done in Ubud :)

Myself and my fiancé Sankofa had the absolute honor of having Dewa as our guide to the water purification ceremony at Tirta Empul. Which made our experience there an absolute blessing and transformative experience. Dewa was extremely kind, knowledgeable, friendly, shared with us exactly how to go through each fountain, took amazing pictures and video for us, allowed us to take our time at the temple and even took us to one of his favorite coffee plantation places on our way back to our drop off location. We will definitely call upon him again for other tours. I would absolutely without a doubt recommend him

We had an incredible experience visiting Pura Tirta Empul with Koman as our guide and driver. He was absolutely amazing—extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Balinese culture. Koman explained the purification ritual and its significance step by step, making sure my husband and I fully understood each part before participating. He ensured we followed the proper customs and did everything the correct way, including providing sarongs so we were appropriately covered. He also took amazing photos and videos for us, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. On top of that, he was incredibly patient and helpful when my husband misplaced his locker key, handling the situation calmly and professionally. Koman was also a great conversationalist, making the drive enjoyable and engaging. Agung was amazing, shared alot of history about the temple and assisted with the proper way to conduct the cleansing. Got to feed the Koi fish after which was so fun. Would recommend to anyone staying in Ubud

Our guide was great! He was very knowledgeable about the temple history and was clear when giving instructions regarding the ceremony. He was easy to communicate with when setting up the reservation, which was great because another tour canceled our ceremony last minute. He also took amazing pictures and videos of the experience.

Visiting the Tirta Empul Temple was a wonderful experience made better by my tour guide Koman who walked me and another visitor through the temple and explained to us each of the areas, their meaning / significance, and the proper ways to ask for permission at the beginning, the steps and process for each part of the cleanse, and the history of the area / temple itself. The two hours went by incredibly quickly; and he captured all the key moments in fotos and video!! Thank you Koman!!!

I was the only person signed up for the 8:30 session and felt lucky to have a private tour with Koman as my guide! He explained in detail the significance of each fountain in the purification ceremony, and more importantly, how to do each step respectfully and in accordance with tradition. He will take many photos for you, if you’d like. The entire experience lasted about 1.5 hours; morning time is best to beat crowds. Tirta Empul is a must-see temple near Ubud and I am grateful to Korman for such an enlightening experience. Thanks again! :)

Our guide Koman (ubuddailytrips) was absolutely brilliant he messaged us half an hour before to confirm he was on his way. He bought us a sarong to wear to enter. He explained the correct way to do the purification and what the different spouts meant, his knowledge of the local traditions was excellent and we feel we really benefitted from having him with us, so we could have the best experience. The temple and facilities were great and it was not too busy when we went (4.30pm). WE did the temple tour afterwards and Koman took lots of really good pictures, that were natural. I would recommend a visit here if you have an interest in the cultures of Bali.
