Tanjung Benoa Water Sports: All Inclusive Bali Activities

One of the best activities that we do on our holiday in Bali island

Charged $150 USD for a $50 package. Pure tourist scam. My wife and I had a very disappointing experience with Water Sport Adventure Bali Dolphin. We paid IDR 2,800,000 per person for a package including sea walking, banana boat, jet ski, and parasailing, plus an additional IDR 700,000 for photos. We were surprised by how expensive the overall experience was but the organizer explained that these were the standard prices, especially that they were clearly displayed in their pricing catalog. It was only two days later, after discussing our experience with a friend who used to live in Bali, that we really began to question the amount we had paid. Our friend informed us that the prices seemed excessively high compared with what we could reasonably expect to pay for similar activities. This left us feeling that we had received very poor value for money. Since we have the corresponding bank transaction record as proof of payment and given the amount involved, we are considering escalating this matter by contacting either the police, the Bali tourism authorities, or potentially kemenparekraf (Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism), to seek clarification and determine whether further action is warranted.

The trip was excellent from beginning to end. Our pick up driver spoke really good English and was informative of the local area The snorkeling was so much fun and Turtle Island was so much more that we expected it to be We would highly recommend this trip.

We did the JetSki, parasailing and banana boat. All were fun, but the JetSki was the best. The driver was happy to stop to get us food on the way home. Good activity.

Brought here for a glass bottom boat ride and a visit to ‘Turtle Island’ to see sea turtles. Price on their placard is 600,000rp per person for each of these, but our guide had negotiated down to 200,000 each. Still would not recommend at this price. TOURIST SCAM. The ‘Turtle Island’ was a boat trip around the corner to the Deluang Sari Turtle Conservation Centre but it’s difficult to believe that this is true conservation. Very distressing conditions for the animals. See my review on that listing. For the glass bottom boat ride we were given 5 slices of bread and taken a few mins away from the dock to feed the fish. This was in amongst all of the water sports in heavily polluted waters, where we saw just a single group of stripped fish between the floating debris. The glass bottom boat was nothing like what was pictured, just had a tiny section of floor cut out and replaced with Perspex, but you could only see the ocean floor beneath it as you were hitting it. Definitely wasn’t a 30min tour as was sold to us. Staff continued to try to sell us more, banana boat ride, jet ski etc but we had small kids in our group and had already explained that we wouldn’t leave them out. Equipment appears poorly maintained as are the facilities. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Well organized, prompt pick up at the hotel. My children went on jetski, parasail and banana boat and they really had great time.

All in all good experience. Our driver Nyoman was very good and patience! He picked us up at our hotel and the communication was very good. Very happy man! And great drop off to Dreamland Beach as we requested. 5 stars for Nyoman! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The watersports was great but the Turtle Island was disappointing. It was a zoo with locked up animals and our guide tried to get so much money out of us We thought it was a big water basin just for turtles in clear water, but it looking like the animals was just locked up. The last part of the Water Sport day pulled the experience down to 4 stars But the water sports was so fun!

It was an amazing experience would highly recommend for any tourist to try. Great hospitality, great environment and great people. Our driver who picked us up from the villa was amazing, Hari was a wonderful and very insightful, knowledgeable and well spoken driver. I would pick him over and over again. Highly recommend him as a driver.

Our driver ketut Putra was very nice and very helpful. He took us to Nusa Dua for water activities and imparted a lot of knowledge about Bali to us.

Booking this trip was so easy! Even when we had to reschedule due to feeling unwell they were very understanding and accommodated us. The day of, our driver Ketut Putra was nothing less than professional and friendly. Ketut was very prompt even arriving earlier to ensure we were there on time. Ketut was easy going and communicated very well. He treated us with respect and actually chatted to us wanting to know about us and our trips. Ketut also gave some really good recommendations for places to go for our next trip when we return. I highly recommend this fun trip and hope you get someone amazing like Ketut for your commute!
