Our driver was pleasant and drove well. However, we were disappointed in that he was not able to give us any information about Taneh Lot or Taman Ayum due to his limited English. Based in the other reviews, we were expecting a bit more. The sites themselves are beautiful but don’t expect much signage explaining what you are seeing.

Lots of laughs with Ozii, safe driver, amazing locations with lots of history. Admission was more expensive having booked through an agent, atmisphere was relaxing, minimal crowds.
Gusti was an amazing tourguide. We had a fabulous half day trip. Very informative. Highly recommended
We had a wonderful half day tour that included the Taman Ayun Temple, Alas Kedaton monkey and flying fox bat sanctuary, Abian Bali Luwak (Civet cat!) coffee and tea shop, and Tanah Lot Temple. Our driver was Oka, who has a nice personality, speaks English, and is a safe driver.
Great guide and car driver. Got us to the destination comfortably and explained the history of the temple and the relevant Hindu culture and community. Since this is in the sea choose low tide to crossover. However there is nothing to see once you crossover as it is restricted to Balinese people only. Very picturesque landscape and a great art market is also there nearby although you can get better bargains at the Ubud markets.
We had a great afternoon visiting these Temples. Widi was our guide and driver today his knowledge of Balinese culture was really good and was also a good photographer. Cheers D & A
Our guide was friendly, chatty and informative. We enjoyed leaning about the culture and seeing the beautiful views. A thunderstorm was rolling in which was awesome! Would recommend.
Our first introduction to Balinese Hindu culture was nothing short of breathtaking. We enjoyed exploring Pura Taman Ayun, Bali’s second largest temple, with its serene gardens and towering shrines, before visiting the iconic Tanah Lot temple perched on a rocky outcrop of black volcanic stone. So grateful our guide Iman encouraged us to wait in line to receive an holy water blessing and provided us some local money to offer. It was such a moving experience—holy water sprinkled on our heads, rice pressed to our foreheads, and a flower tucked behind our right ears. A beautiful reminder of gratitude, connection, and respect. We ended the tour with a spicy snack that Iman wanted us to try.
My partner and I absolutely loved our half day trip with our guide Widi. He was very friendly, took us to other places additional to the trip, and did a great job showing us the temples and explaining the history and culture. Ask for Widi when you book, he's a great guy!
Our tour guide Nata first took us to Taman Ayun then on to the spectacular coastal Tanah Lot temple. Nata had extensive knowledge of Balinese history and culture.
Tanah lot temple wasn’t as impressive because of the crowd. If you’re not planning to enter the temple, I suggest to come during high tide, view could be better with the surrounding ocean waves and surely less people. Taman ayun was peaceful and had an AV room so you get to know the place’s symbol/importance. Other than that, nothing much to see really. Driver was nice, was chatty at the start, but I felt that he could have been less stiff and more patient to talk about the locations we went to. Maybe it was the gloomy weather, but I wasn’t impressed with the overall experience for the money I spent (considering I toured east&west penida the day before for almost the same price). On a positive note, glad to have tasted various tea & coffee at luwak coffee. I was also relieved that hotel dropoff is included so it saved me the trouble and extra cost going back to nusa dua after a mid tour.
Our tour guide and driver Agung shared very interesting information about the temples and Balinese culture. He was an excellent tour guide and driver for me and my family!
Would highly recommend the Tanah Lot Temple Tour. Our driver Putu was fantastic!! Great conversation, wonderful views and we are definitely booking another tour Putu even stopped for us to try Luwak coffee ️

Went to see Tanah Lot with my friends. Marina was our driver cum guide. An excellent, friendly and amiable person. Helped us a lot with all our photos and drove us up and down in her clean and comfortable car. Would highly recommend Marina for your tours.
I started my trip at 10.30 am and the first stop was at the historic and heritage listed Taman Ayun temple. This temple dates back to the 16th century and is surrounded by lovely stretch of gardens and moats. It is has a small art gallery and an exhibition hall which projects short documentary on the temp. It is quite a serene and peaceful place, a must do, since it is not far from Tanah Lot. Tanah lot is very picturesque with the beautiful back drop of cliffs and the ocean, you can spend a few hours (if you can find a quiet spot) there just taking in the landscape which is beautiful. It is catered for tourists, so plenty of places to eat with amazing views of the ocean and and plenty of toilets. Lucky if you can get there before the the big tourists buses come in, to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the place. The overall trip was great and what made it great is because I had a lovely driver who was also my tour guide. Who explained the history, significance of things/traditions. Such a pleasant person. Thank you Wildi!!
Had a lovely afternoon followed by a magic sunset at Tanah Lok temple. Nyoman was a careful and attentive driver who made sure everything was going well on our trip and was also flexible and happy to accommodate small changes and little delays. Highly recommended.
The driver/guide was very nice and really attentive. Although the traffic was really heavy the trip was pleasant and when we got to the place it was totally worth the effort. I spent a delightful time.
Tour was not with group as expected (boring) and was not professional set up. Too expensive for what you get
Organising this tour was easy, for the price I was expecting to be sharing a minibus and therefore traveling with others to see the temples at sunset. Instead we were picked up in a comfortable car and it was a private tour!! Our tour director Gusty checked we were happy with the itinerary and we were able to make any adjustments if we wished. From Kuta, to the temples requires going through the busy areas of Seminyak and Canguu, Gusty made the heavy traffic seem tolerable and was safe and sensible, he also added a commentary of the sights when appropriate. Both temples were a treat, before each Gusty gave a brief history lesson and an information session that explained interesting points about the temples. The Tanah Lot temple is well worth the visit, there are markets to have a little look at but my suggestion is head straight to the temple beach area for photos and then one of the bars on the cliffs to view the Sunset and do the markets when you leave…. the prices also seem to be more in your favour. It is then the traffic heavy but comfortable air-conditioned drive back. Gusty was happy to point out other experiences to do on the island and although he made it known he himself, or one of his drivers would be available to assist in any way, there was no big sales pressure, rather more a genuine keenness for us to get the best experience on our holiday. Lastly he offered to drive and wait for us (included) while we had dinner at Jimbaran Bay area before taking us back to the hotel, but we already had dinner reservations that he dropped us off at with no fuss. I did tip, although I feel a little small in Aussie Dollars, for what I thought was service above what was expected. Highly Recommend East Bali Tours.
Very friendly guide. The trip is exactly as described -you see two beautiful sites. Tanah Lot is gorgeous. I didn’t receive a souvenir though
it is a very nice experience. Breathtaking views. we had gusti as a driver, a very friendly and helpful person. we recommend
