Tanah Lot And Uluwatu Temple Tour - Bali Full Day Sightseeing Tours

We were guided by Nengah on our day trip to Uluwatu. He was not only hilarious but super kind and informative. He informed us about the cultural and historical aspects of Balinese temples, beaches and coffee plantations. I would highly recommend anyone book this day trip and try and book it with Nengah! Although it is a massive day you will not regret it.

We did not know the lay of the land, but if you’re staying anywhere near Seminyak, legian etc… it first takes you up about 45 minutes to an hour north then two hours and a half hours south to the next spot. Our lunch was spaced out between 11:30 AM and 8 PM for dinner. We had a language barrier with our guide so we really did not get too deep into conversation about what we were looking at. They were also not aware of the tides so we were not able to go walk to the temple. That was the main reason for us going (tanah lot). After an accident on the road, we asked if it would make sense to continue the trip because it said it was going to rain heavily at the beach by the time we got there. The guy told us there were lounge chairs, and the weather was fine, we got down to the bottom of the stairs, and there were no lounge chairs and it downpoured…. to the point where the entire beach cleared out once the flooding stopped coming down the stairs. We understand the weather in Bali can change, but it was literally three minutes after he dropped us off and told us to go down the stairs so we were just stuck down there because it immediately rained for the next 45 minutes which was more than half our time. After getting back to the car with our wet clothes, we mentioned that there were no lounge chairs, and it just poured on us and he told us that the fire dance that we were going to see would be raining heavily too so we just asked to turn around and cut our trip early. 10 hour trip, 20 minutes at one temple 20 minutes at another temple and an hour at the beach. The rest of the time in the car.

An amazing day exploring beautiful temples, relaxing at stunning Padang Padang Beach, and ending with a delicious seafood dinner right on the sand. The views, food, and atmosphere were all perfect — a truly unforgettable experience! 🌅✨

The activities were fun. Spent a long time on the water, and the lunch restaurant had great pescatarian options (not included with the prepaid meal but highly recommend the fish curry and fish satay). The afternoon was spent at the beach and was a nice relaxing experience but very crowded at no fault of this tour. The Kecak dance was not impressive and we only watched about 40 minutes but the location of the temple was a beautiful site. The included seafood dinner by the beach was adequate. Overall, I would recommend the experience. Best part in the booking was our guide Nyoman. He was incredibly helpful and very attentive. Gave us a fantastic tour of the land and shared a lot of interesting information about the culture. Would love to have him as a tour guide again and highly recommend those booking to request him! The driver Kadek Darma is the best driver we took in Indonesia. He speaks English perfectly and he was always caring for us, he was very kind and polite. The experience with him was very comfortable. I strongly recommend him. The tour with him was perfect.

Uncle Ketut Aldo/Sauer was very kind, respectful, helpful, and patient! I am very lucky to have his company today. He makes sure I didn't get ripped off today or get scammed. Nyoman was such a great help. He always made sure we knew where we were going and always ment us after right on time. We unfortunately didn’t get to see Padang Padang beach or the Uluwatu temple because of time constraints though.

We set off up to Tanah Lot temple after breakfast. The tour was brilliant, Tanah Lot is worth the visit, the scenery was incredible. We then headed to Taman Ayun and then over to Ulawatu Temple. Watch out for the cheeky monkeys in Ulawatu, they will steal your belongings. The scenery was absolutely stunning at all the temples, but what really made the trip much more worthwhile was our guide, Aditya, he shared all his knowledge and information on the Balinese Hindu culture and the ceremonies. Without Aditya, it would have just been sightseeing. We felt we could the full cultural experience and learnt so much. The Kecak fire dance was highly entertaining and a fantastic experience. A huge thank you to our guide Aditya for making our day brilliant.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on the Tanah Lot and Uluwatu tour with Bali Full Day Tours! The highlight of our morning was arriving at Taman Ayun around 9am — it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning views were truly magical. The day only got better, with ocean views and a blessing at Tanah Lot and a cooling swim at Pedang Pedang beach. The sunset at Uluwatu was breathtaking. Watching the Kecak dance as the sun dipped below the horizon was an unforgettable moment — dramatic, spiritual, and perfectly timed. A special thank you to our guide and driver, Ketut Suar, who looked after us so well. He navigated Bali’s chaotic traffic with such skill and calm that we always felt completely safe. This is a very long day. But we had a great time. The only part we didn't like was the show, it was not good. We stopped at 3 temples, had lunch which was very nice and dinner on the beach which was also very good.

The tour of the temples and the kecak dance was great! Our guide Nengah is a good guy and he explained many things about Bali to us. Recomended! Oh also the restaurants that were included in the tour had the best food we had in Bali. Try the crispy duck!!

Nengah made our trip an awesome one! We felt spoiled by how the tour was organized. Our driver avoided a big traffic jam with his knowledge of the geography of the place. Happy tummy and satisfied costumers of 4 here.

Our driver and guide Yuda was great he was very flexible with timings and a great driver. The tour is excellent value as you have your own personal driver and guide for us 11 hours! The attractions were pretty much as other reviewers have described my personal favourite was the coffee and tea tasting. The blessing at the Tanah Lot Temple was very special as were the amazing views. Would highly recommend this tour.

Had a great time yesterday on the day tour! Our guide Yuda was fantastic! Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, he made every effort to make the tour enjoyable and memorable - he was good enough to take photos for us and demonstrated some excellent camera skills!!! It is a long day but there is just the right amount of places to visit! I really enjoyed visiting the temples ( Tanah lot and Ulan Danu) and the coffee plantation tour was a nice surprise and you get to taste the varieties! Definitely recommend this company and Yuda as our excellent guide

We had a wonderful day exploring Bali, we saw amazing temples, including Tanah Lot and Uluwatu. We visited the beautiful Padang-Padang beach and experienced a traditional Kecak performance at sunset. Our driver Aditya was also excellent, he was safe and competent on the busy Balinese roads. He was very informative and was like having a guide with us on our day out. He took some lovely photos and he was very professional and helpful throughout the whole trip. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour and Aditya as a driver. Thank you 😊

Really enjoyed this tour. You do spend a bit of time in the car due to traffic so you need to be prepared for that. The sites we saw were great and our guide Kadek was lovely. Highlight was the Kecak Dance. It was awesome

My Partner and I loved this tour because we were able to immerse ourselves into the historical culture of Bali. Our experience wouldn’t have been as great if it wasn’t for our driver Naya, he was highly informative and great at getting us to our destination’s safely. The all inclusive food package was absolutely delicious, lunch being traditionally made food at a small village and dinner a breathtaking seafood experience of the Sandy beach of Jimbaran Bay. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience a day of Balinese culture!!!

It was an Amazing Trip, the driver was careful and the car was in good condition with ac. He gives as a lot of Informations and was very helpful.

My friends and I did a few tours in Bali but this tour by far was the best, the sights were incredible, and our tour guide Aditya was so knowledgeable on all the places! He answered every single question we had and taught us so much on this tour!! I would highly recommend the tour and the tour guide even more!! Even if you’re a solo traveler, Aditya has got you covered with his amazing photography skills!!! He was so patient and kind!!!

This tour is a must in Bali, I learned alot about the culture and every places we went was just breathtaking. I wouldn't have the best tour experience if it wasn't for our tour guide Aditiya, very funny, knowledgeable and positive energy!! Also takes the best photos. It was really memorable tour experience.

Not worth the money, better getting a taxi, the tour guide didn't say anything for most of the tour, drove very slow, took very long to get places, then reduced our stay time at the beach from 1 hour to 30mins and was angry when we were late for a few mins, the last spot temple was very rushed. The lunch was good, but the dinner was terrible.

Our tour guide nengah definitely didn't seem to enjoy his job. We booked the all inclusive package of this tour and were expecting to have a proper tour guide. However what we got was a driver that couldn't care less about the group he's supposed to host. He barely spoke (only to my husband, no interaction with us 3 women) . We didn't get any info on the sights we we're looking at. Questions we had were brushed off with shallow phrasing. We were left alone on most parts of the tour with no information. In previous tours in bali the guides would let us know what to look out for and how to avoid falling into tourist traps. This guide however couldn't care less. After I complained he gave me some bs excuse around some donation. We were most of the day in his car (it took super long to get to the places and then we only got a few minutes to look at things, half an hour on the beach which was supposed to be for swimming). He didn't turn us any music on in the car so we had hours of silence through high traffic Denpasar. While rushing back from the beach ( I have a hip injury and it takes a bit longer to go up all those stairs) he sent me a one character WhatsApp "." which I assume was to tell us that we need to come back faster but not sure as he didn't say anything at all on arrival or in the text message. My husband told me later on that he mumbled something about being late for the dance show which we weren't aware of because he didn't talk to US (he justified not giving the women any information as he had already "spoken" to my husband and he could forward the scarce info to us and fill his duty as tour guide - this specifically bothered me a lot because my husband is indian and gets racially profiled a lot - we have a big issue with people always thinking he's my tour guide and having our actual tour guide put him in that spot is so unacceptable.). At the dance show he asked us to squeeze past everyone before the show ends so we could leave earlier due to the traffic. There was no way to get out of that Theater without either causing a scene or injuring ourselves climbing down the big steps between all the ppl. Turned out that even after regularly walking out of the theater there was no traffic issue. At this stage we just assumed it was way of telling us he wants to go home early? At the end of the day they brought us to a tourist trap sea food restaurant. During both meals we had with them that day the shellfish allergy of my husband posed a big issue as it wasn't communicated properly and he was offered very weird alternative options. The seafood dinner in the evening was OK but nothing I would ever even closely consider booking myself. We got a really sad looking "fish platter". My sister in law only had one option as vegetarian which was fried rice. My husband got 4 tiny pieces of fish (also no choice). They didn't even show us the menu. There seems to have been some super cheap deal with the tour operator that got us some "special" tourist version of the regular options the restaurant usually has. At least looking at the menu later on when leaving their usual food seemed to be nicer. This is our last day in bali and it totally spoiled our vacation. Maybe this tour is better with another guide but I would highly suggest booking with some other provider to not risk getting this guide. Absolute disaster. CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS TOUR AT ALL. IT'S A TOTAL RIP OFF. WANT MY DAY AND MY MONEY BACK.

Gede is an amazing guide. He was punctual on picking us up at our villa. This is my second visit to Bali this year and he has made this visit even better. A great photographer and well educated on the sites we visited. I would highly recommend him as a guide if you are traveling to Bali. I give him 10 stars🌟 !!

Both my husband and I had the most amazing day with Gita our guide for the day . We were able to ask many questions about temples and various places we went and received detailed answers, he is very knowledgeable and took good care of us. I am afraid of the monkeys but he watched out for me the whole time and I felt very safe with him. Gita was excellent and very kind Thank you so much for our unforgettable trip.

We had Bli Nengah as our driver for the day, he was so kind and friendly. He made our tour in Bali happy and amazing day. Highly recommend him as your driver and tour guide in Bali. We loved our full day temples tour with Wayan. We visited 3 temples and each temple was different and special in its own unique way. We also went to the hot springs and felt VIP because there was hardly anyone else there. We went to a fruit market and rice paddies too. Wayan is a great driver and good company and we would not hesitate to recommend this tour or his services.

My favourite part was holding the snake that blew me away but also my Driver Ketut Karyawan playing his awesome music in the car to enjoy the long ride was amazing too and he was a very good fast driver.

My partner and I had a great day with Nengah! He was patient with us the entire day and his enthusiasm never dwindled despite the long day. It was great to a see a cultural side of Bali today!

We had a wonderful time with our driver Ketut today. Despite the (at times) torrential rain, he got us to all of our spots and helped us get good pictures. The food at lunch was really good. It was nice to have the same person take us around all day.

Fun packed day! appreciates them letting me do this solo. Guide was super nice. Only thing I didn’t like was getting pass to a local guide at the money forest who happens to also be the souvenir shop owner so she took you into her shop at the end of the tour.

Booked this trip through viator and the experience was absolutely wonderful! It was a FULL day event but jam packed with great sights, food, and experiences. We absolutely loved our driver and guide Audr (sounds like Yudar)- he was so kind, helpful, and provided good insights during our tours around the different temples. We loved that he came early to pick us up and tried to get us from each stop in a timely manner. Highly recommend- wish we could do the experience all over again!
