Sunset At Tanah Lot Temple And Spa Tour

We had a great day with our guide Kana. After pick up we went to a day spa for a 2 hour treatment which was absolutely luxurious. Kana then took us to Tanah Lot, sharing his wisdom with us throughout the journey. We stopped for a delicious lunch of crispy duck that Kana recommended. Tanah Lot at sunset did not disappoint and Kana took lots of great photos for us. I highly recommend this tour, we are 2 females traveling alone and felt very safe with Kana.

Edi was an awesome guide and driver for our trip to Tanah Lot—super friendly and easy to talk to. He knew all the best spots and shared fascinating cultural insights.

The spa experience was very enjoyable and nice to do with my wife. Tanah Lot was a beautiful location and the tide was low so were able to go right down to the base of the temple to receive a blessing. Dinner was very beautiful at the restaurant atop the beach and very well priced meals. Adie was really nice and knowledgeable and told us about the mythology of Tanah Lot which was a very interesting story. It was great to learn more about Bali from our guide.

We had a very relaxing experience in a spa where we found a kind and skillfull team which took care of us with a traditional Balinian massage. Then Edy, our driver and guide, took us to Tanah Lot Temple, to see the best sunset you can find in Bali, explaning us the history of this marvellous Temple. We recomend to have a trip with Edy, very kind, helpful, skilled guide, with whom we had also a very comfortable trip to come back to our hotel.

Dedy has been an awesome guide, very pleasant, friendly, speaks English well and very acommodating. We had a great time.

Really great tour! And the temple was very magical. Dedy was a lovely tour, guide, very smart and knowledgeable and told us a lot about Bali, Indonesia, politics, history and gave us an inside into the life here. Elsa bought two paintings up where the restaurants are with a great view. Be careful. They are so beautiful that you can stop by more! Thank you for such a great experience

In all the time that we were here in Bali making a lot of tours nobody explain us the Balinese culture as Kana did. We really appreciate it because for us it was really important, Bali was our dreamed trip for long time ago and today supposed was our last day, so we finished our trip finally with the information that we wanted about the Bali and the culture. Thank you Kana for your patience and kindness!!

Kana (our driver) was very informative, look lots of photos for us, showed us around the temple and told us lots of interesting about bali and Balinese culture. Highly recommend

My friend and I had the most incredible day on this tour. It worked into our schedule because the tour started at 15h:00 and we had plans that morning. Our guide Edy was 10 minutes early and seriously the most friendly guide we could have asked for. He spoke English as the tour promised, and drove a very comfortable car. I have nothing bad to say about this tour. We loved seeing Tanah Lot Temple at golden hour. The tide was low, and the sunset was just beginning it was absolutely stunning. Edy (our guide) even helped take some photos for me and my friend. He let us decide how long we wanted to stay and made sure we were satisfied before we left for the next stop. It was really nice that we didn’t feel rushed. The night spa was also a dream. We drove to the Royal Orchid Spa which was amazing. After our spa treatment (2 hours which included: a Balinese massage, exfoliate, lotion, and flower bath) Edy drove us back to our accommodation. It was a full day but 100% worth it. My only critique - please be mindful that you should pack snacks for the day. Because it’s a lot of driving you don’t have time to stop for food/dinner. Depending on how long you stay at Tanah Lot you end up driving to the spa during dinner time.

Temple was beautiful on the coast...but the spa treatments were unbelievable...excellent.. Whole experience was the best..the driver Edy...really good as well

We enjoyed our private tour with Edy. He is very friendl, knowledgeable and spoke english well. He took us to Tanah lot (water temple), which was neat to see. We took some nice photos and elected to not stay for the sunset and start our 2 hour orchard lulur package at orchid Bali spa sooner. Nice combination of a tour package.

We were accompanied to the Tanah Lot tempel by Yus, who was such great company. Nice conversations during the car ride and he shared zo much of his knowledge! About the Balinese culture, Indonesian food and of course the temple. We can definitely recommend!

We had such an amazing time and our guide (Putu) and driver (yuse?) were incredible. Putu gave us so much information on the different areas of Bali on our ride out there. We had time to stop and have a special coffee before getting to Tanah Lot. The location is beautiful with so many picture opportunities. Once we arrived at the spa, we were treated to an amazing massage, body scrub, foot bath and flower bath. All of us were so relaxed by the end. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have the same tour guide and driver as we did!

Rooney our guide was amazing, so caring and knowledgeable. beautiful time, spa is great just a tad far from the temple. but overall an amazing experience and excellent sunset.

Yus was absolutely amazing!! He was very informative about everything we asked him and it being our first time in Bali it was extremely appreciated. The temple was beautiful and we learnt so much about the culture in Bali.

Breath taking experience, the weather was great, food up the hillside was filling and worth the very inexpensive price and the photos to be taken are endless. Look to book Rámon as your driver, he is a joy to be with and has a calming personality. Super down to earth human.

First and foremost, the driver picks you up right from your hotel and the driving to and from Tanah Lot is great. The tour guide Putudarma was very informative with facts about the history and culture of Bali in the car and at Tanah Lot. If you want a fantastic genuine Bali experience where you will get to enjoy the beauty of the island and learn a lot about the traditions and culture this is the tour for you!!!!

You will think you have entered Shangri La! You will love the Tanah Lot Temple. We loved our morning couples spa experience. It is the perfect way to start your vacation.

It was a bit crowed at the time we were there. One of the many places our private driver took us that day.

Mitch and I had a fabulous time with Edi yesterday. Edi was incredibly considerate, patient, happy and insightful, with great conversations in the car and explained Tanah Lot beautifully. We loved having a private tour guide and will definitely book again! Thanks, Edi!

Our driver Edy was great and picked us up, showed us all the great spots to take pictures from and tailored the tour to what we wanted to see. However, the tour ended with the WORST spa experience of my life. They took us to a spa in the middle of nowhere where the mosquitos were eating us alive while we waiting. This particular spa was 4x the price of any comparable spa in Ubud. The water did not look clean and the place did not seem hygienic. So we asked for a 2 hour massage instead since it was the same price. They said it would be $15 extra (by the way all spa prices were in USD). Then when we asked why the price was more if the price list showed the same price. They said ok only 100,000 IDR more. At this point we were frustrated and irritated by all the mosquitos and said fine to paying 100,000 IDR more. Then they said no one was available and that we would have to wait another 30 minutes. At this point we were so frustrated by their service and lack of professionalism that we walked out. We will be talking to TripAdvisor about this as we do not expect such service from a company affiliated with them. Do yourself a favor - book the tanah lot tour with Edy and DONT do the spa package. If you walk out of this particular spa, the streets are crowded with similar spas and services for 1/4 the price. I don’t usually write reviews but I hope this helps. Thank you!

The view is gorgeous and the spa is relaxing. Our guide, Wawan is very professional and take good care of us.

Our trip to Tanah lot started with the pick up from our hotel. Our driver was Yus, who made an incredible job. He was kind and always willing to help us. With a perfect English, he told us about the Balinese culture and we could learn a lot from him. The Balinese massage was out of this world! The perfect way to end up a really exciting day in Bali. I absolutely Recommend it!!

<P>Our tour guide, Dedi, was terrific! Personable, well informed and very conversational. The site is magnificent. Our driver did a great job of navigating Bali’s awful traffic and crazy drivers.</p>

<p>Our tour guide was great, and the temple was beautiful. The title is a little misleading as we had to leave the temple about 45 minutes before sunset to make our spa appointment on time. Other than that, the tour was great!</p>

<p>I really enjoyed going to Tanah Lot, and the guide that came with us with fantastic. However, I have never been to such a busy tourist place before. If you can cope with the crowds there, then it's worth it. We also never got to see a sunset as unfortunately the weather can be unpredictable in Bali, and therefore it was too cloudy to see a good sunset which was a shame. However, we opted for the opt in of the spa treatment and got a couples massage, this was the highlight for me! The spa was stunning, and it was a fantastic massage, very professional and in a great setting.</p>

There were also Japanese speaking drivers who were able to enjoy a massage at the authentic spa and a wonderful time at Tanah Lot temple. It is a wonderful memory to be exposed to the local history as a tourist destination!

We cross a small park very well maintained, and we see the temple perched on its rocky promontory. Accessible at low tide, a few steps from the shore.It is capped with thatched roofs, one of coconut fibers, I can not say.it has in the park a temple,always with these entrances of stones raised to the sky like doors ,but only their uprights. You have to wait until sunset, to as the agencies say enjoy the magic of the place,d or many tourists, at this time. Our guide gives us the meaning of his name. Thanah EARTH,Lot WATER, meeting of land and water. Nice one.

The driver was very nice and very efficient. I would recommend the whole experience with 2h spa after the temple visit

Ne pas faire le sunset si vous souhaitez voir le temple en îlot flottant mais choisir le matin dans ce cas car l'après midi, c'est marée basse. Ça garde un certain charme. Rien à redire sur le spa, bon soin, charmant, agréable.
