Fantastic day - a must do for anyone visiting Bali and wants to try something new. Our driver (Nata) picked us up from our hotel and made sure we were comfortable in every way. Super day getting to see parts of Bali we would have not otherwise seen and epic opportunity to be in the home/business of a silver smith and his wife. Super hosts who talked us through making our own rings from start to finish. Excellent coffee and sweet treats. Absolutely one of the best days of our entire trip. Adi was such a wonderful driver and tour guide, he was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the area, even suggesting extra things to do along the way. The jewellery making was so fun and insightful. The wonderful husband and wife that teach the class were very lovely and welcoming. Our jewellery pieces turned out stunning and we all love them. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a bit of fun and to do something different on your next trip to Bali.
A very personalized tour on my own. You can be as hands on as you like in the silver jewellery making class and the instructor and his wife were very accommodating. Overall, would recommend.
Went here with my partner! We were the only two and we got to learn and make rings from scratch! It was so rewarding and fun! We also got to learn about some plants in the garden and were treated to coffee and snacks (or tea if you prefer) we also got free water. We got to pick from a series of designs which ones to make and they are all so kind! The house is beautiful and so is the yard. Unfortunately my parter felt sick so we did not see the waterfall on the tour but we did go to the rice fields and it’s incredible, by far one of my favourite days here in Bali. Told my family about this experience and showed them pictures and videos and they booked in straight away! This activity is a hidden gem, DO IT!
I had the best day!!! This experience is one in a kind the fun making the rings and all round amazing teacher, his wife and son were just wonderful!! We had such a special experience learning to make rings in the beautiful family compound of Sri Rahayu Silver in Ubud! They walked us through every step and were to knowledgeable and lovely! We had the best morning and now have special memories and special rings! The rice terrace and waterfallls were so beautiful and we took lots of photos! Alit was our driver and he was incredible! He taught us so much about the Balinese culture and he answered all of our many many questions! A very special way to experience Bali! 10/10 recommend to anyone!
We are so happy we took part in this tour. Firstly went to the silver making class where we got to make our own rings. This was in a silver makers family home and was incredible to see their shop and the family help with the business. The family were so warm and inviting they explained to us how we would make our rings with sizes etc. Our finished products were amazing and will keep them as momentous as we engraved the date and Bali into the rings. Also our Guide Gusti took some awesome videos and created a little video for us after our tour had finished as a keepsake of our memories. With this being private we decided not to do the waterfall at the end but choose to spend more time at the rice terrace which was well worth it to soak up them views! If this is on our wish list when visiting Bali I would highly recommend doing this. Thankyou Viator, Gusti, Silver making class for making this trip one not to forget 🙂
This was such a fun experience and was really worth it. My guide, Komang, and was amazing and easy to talk to. I wanted to make the rings as a gift for my girlfriend to take back with me after my trip and they turned out amazing! It was even more fun than I had imagined and was worth every penny. I am so proud of the rings I made her that I may steal one… The ring making was one of my favourite things I did here in Bali and having a great down to earth guide, such as Komang, made the experience even better! Would highly recommend!
Fantastic day all round. Amazing experience at the jewellery making class, the team were very welcoming, informative and ensured we were happy with the finished product. We visited the cafe after and had a delicious lunch, would recommend a visit. Rice terrace and waterfall are definitely worth seeing, stunning views of both. It was such an amazing and unique experience. We got our silver and could decide what we want to do, if we may want to add some stones, if we’d take something they showed us as a pattern or you can create your very own thing. I had enough silver for a ring and a pendant. I definitely can recommend this to everybody, no matter wich gender! However I can warmly recommend Gusti as a Guide / Driver! He‘s like a friend for us because he took so much care and helped us with everything we needed help with.
The class was very interesting and the results speak for them selves. You are getring a quick look at some designs where you choose the closest to what you would like to make. The instructors will help you with everything and also do the more tricky stuff like covering of the stones. Overall it was amazing. Highly recommend to do it!

I had a such an amazing time doing the silver making class in Ubud. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the place. All of their staff is very friendly and helpful. We are very happy with the finished products as will definitely be going back next time we are in Bali. Highly recommend these guys enough, so nice and professional!
We were only in Bali for a short time but wanted to venture out and see some Bali culture and natural scenery for a day. This tour proved to be the perfect solution. Our super friendly and helpful Widana, aka. Wi, was our very own personal driver and tour guide for the day, we were also able to personalise the tour to meet our desires on the day. It started with a pick-up directly from our resort and for us, being first time Bali travellers, we were excitingly venturing out into the unknown. Widana made us feel super comfortable and we knew we were in good hands. First off we saw a Barong & Kris dance show, the storyline was somewhat hard to follow, but nonetheless it was entertaining enough, though perhaps went on a bit too long. After the show we went to our first waterfall, Kanto Lampo. Wow! It was beautiful of course, but full of "Instagramers" posing at the base of the falls doing their ridiculous poses and stuff, ruining the opportunity for any chance of a good photo here. Tip: Walk up the path to the cave where you can view the waterfall from a higher elevation, where you get a better view without all the poses at the base. Moving on, we then drove to Tibumana Waterfall, now this waterfall was something special! (and no Instagramers here!). We were able to capture the waterfall and surrounds perfectly, by far one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen. We then drove up to Kintamani and had lunch at the Grand Puncak Sari Restaurant, offering stunning views of surrounding mountains and lakes. The buffet food was good, friendly accommodating staff and the weather was quite refreshing being so high up. After lunch we chose to head down to Luwak Coffee where we tried a delicious platter of teas and coffee, just awesome, couldn't help but buy a half dozen. Whilst slowing making out way back to Denpasar we passed many rural villages, rice fields and experienced all sorts of culture and sensory overloads. We finished the day visiting Widana's very own village and toured his local temple, which we felt very honoured and moved by. It was a full day, we crammed so much in and was tired by the end of it, but walked away knowing we experienced something very special. To have our own personal tour guide, it was a first for us.
