Private Uluwatu Temple Tour & Sunset Kecak Fire Dance Experience

This was very much worth the visit. Good to see a different culture from another country. This tour is best done with a guide, which would normally be your driver.

Our guide Yudi was fantastic. He was very informative and helped to ward off the monkeys! Highly recommend this tour.

It was a really nice and entertaining day. Our tour guide Ketut Putra, was really puntual and took us to the temple, walked with us and talked about the different gods and temples. It was really nice to see the show. We couldn’t recommend it enough

Great views of sunset, show ~45min. Fire is under 10min of show. It’s a Hindu religious show, they hand out info on what performance represents. Listen to them when they say monkeys will steal your stuff- including sunglasses. Kids enjoyed monkey chows more than the show (6&7yr olds)

Budi was a such a great guide from start to end. Highly recommend to do the free coffe/tea tasting. You get to try about 15 different options and you have a chance to purchase beans at the end. The temple was absolutely beautiful right on the cliffs and do watch out for the monkeys because they will take your stuff. A monkey jumped on me and took my sunglasses off my face!

This is a 'must do' Bali experience. It was made all the better by our driver (Ketut Putra) who was knowledgeable and chatty and ultra safe on the narrow roads.

The show was good, but our guide and driver (Ketut Putra) was excellent. Very safe drive from our resort to the temple and back. He also kept us safe, and warned other, the monkeys at the temple. The show was good, but if you need a driver in Bali, Ketut is our recommendation. 5stars.

We wanted a tour where we could see multiple notable locations in one day and the Bali Instagram Tour Private All Day Inclusive allowed us to accomplish our goal for the day. Our guide/driver, Budi, arrived bright and early at 5:00am at our hotel for pick-up. On our way to each location we had the privilege of seeing the beautiful country side and other parts of the country beyond Bali. Upon arriving to each location, we had a smooth process of gaining entry because the tour already covered the cost for entry. Every tour location was worth seeing. This tour included a lunch buffet also and the food was good. Our driver/guide, Budi was great. I’d highly recommend this tour if you are looking to stop at many places in one day for a personalized experience.

We had an incredible experience with Ketut! He was so knowledgeable about Balinese history, super kind, and so easy to talk to throughout the entire trip. Edy was such an amazing driver and guide for our tour! He was friendly, warm, and full of great energy. He knew all the shortcuts to get us from our hotel to Uluwatu Temple quickly and safely. Once we got there, Edy took care of absolutely everything, from sharing the cool history of the temple to showing us the absolute best spots for photos and videos. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This was a great half day tour that we were able to book at the last minute. Suryanto is a very good driver and guide, his english is good and he knows the local roads well. The car was immaculate. We would happily book again.

We had a wonderful experience on this Viator tour, and I highly recommend it... From the moment we were picked up, everything felt smooth, safe, and well organized..The driver ( Budi) was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. He drove confidently even on busy or narrow roads, made sure we were comfortable throughout.. He also shared helpful local tips, suggested good photo spots. It was a 10/10 experience through Viator- a highly recommended service.

Dharma made our Uluwatu afternoon and evening easy for a family of six. He was on time, drove amazingly, and kept us updated the whole way so we weren’t guessing about timing for the temple, the monkeys, and the fire show. He explained what to watch for with the monkeys without being dramatic, helped us pick a good spot for sunset, and made sure we got to the Kecak / fire show with time to sit down instead of scrambling. With kids ranging from 7 to 18, that mattered. Friendly, professional, and no hard sell. We felt looked after from pickup to drop-off. Would request Dharma again.

Our guide Edy was knowledgeable and easy to understand. We stayed close to him at the temple, he kept the monkeys away from us.

A good trip with a really friendly guide who listened to what we wanted to do rather than follow an agenda. Be careful of the monkeys at the temple as they like hats and glasses and I saw several pairs being taken and broken. Be prepared for the Instagram crowd but our guide made sure we got the pictures we wanted. He told us where to sit to get the best view of the show - which wasn't really our taste but glad that we saw it

We had a fabulous trip to the Uluwatu temple stopping off at a lovely coffee farm on the way. Our guide, Dharma, was excellent! So knowledgeable and so efficient in making our trip as enjoyable as possible. He also took some fabulous photos for us whilst simultaneously keeping the monkeys away! Would highly recommended.

This is a must do Bali experience. The Uluwatu Temple with coast views at Sunset was breathtakingly beautiful. The Kecak and Fire Dance will be unlike anything you have ever seen. I was mesmerized. We also added the seafood dinner. It was on the bay. The overlook was beautiful and dinner was delicious. To top it off, our guide, Yudie, was delightful. Our driver + tour guide, Angga, communicates well throughout starting a day before. He and his partner arranged everything well for our group of 9. We were very happy with his services and would definitely recommend Angga. The Kecak dance was a little underwhelming in my opinion; nevertheless, it was a great activity to do with 3 generations of family.

Nico was a fantastic tour guide. Uluwatu temple was beautiful, particularly as the sunset. The Kecak performance was beautiful. As I am vegetarian I had dinner in a local restaurant, and had a lovely curry. Highly recommend!

Alertness not good enough. Our group visited this temple. The tour guide, Ms Desi Melinda, repeated warnings about staying alert when the monkeys are around I had a bad experience when one of the monkeys grabbed my spectacles. The monkey warden has a way to get the culprit monkey to give up my spectacles for a reward. I got my spectacles back but damage was done beyond economic repair. My spare pair of spectacles was a dark pair meant for sunshine. Lesson learnt is to keep the spare spectacles as a standard pair and not one with dark lenses.

An amazing experience with a lot of history and tradition. Surya was an excellent guide assisting me with steps, history of temple and ensuring I was safe from the cheeky monkeys. The Kecak fire dance was so different from anything I'd ever experienced. It was good to receive a piece of paper explaining the dance, choir and characters. You can find ancient carvings of the characters as you travel around Bali too. Surya then took me to a special seafood evening meal at Jimbaran Beach to celebrate my birthday. A perfect day.

We wanted to leave a great review for Yudie—he was an incredible guide. He was very friendly, great company, and we had some amazing conversations. He really got us thinking about the peace and tranquility of life. We’re truly very happy with the tour, but especially with the guide.

Dharma was such a fantastic guide. The whole day from pick up through to drop off ran so smoothly because of him. We were fortunate enough to just sit back and take in the sights. The car ride was long but went quickly as we heard about the culture and history of Bali from dharma, upon arrival we were told what to expect. He organised ticket purchases, water, led us through the temple while telling us the history and translating any signs, took great photos and was easy to find after the show. Cant recommend him and this trip enough if you’re looking for a fun day out

Excellent experience while in Bali! Dharma was a great driver and tour guide. He picked us up on time and explained the heritage and religion of the Balinese people in-depth. He managed everything seamlessly for us, from parking, to the tickets, to seeing the temple and keeping the monkeys away. Follow dircetons...do not wear hats or glasses and keep you cell phone away. The show was amazing. Dharma was able to get is into the first show, which was great with the sunset in the background. He quickly go4 us out of the traffic jam with both people and cars/busses. The tour description needs a bit of clarification. Due to horrendous traffic issues there is a two hour drive each way. The Temple is not all that interesting and visitors need to climb up and down about 50 steep steps with minimal handrails. Not suitable for mobility restricted. You are not allowed into the inner sanctum of the Temple, only the outside galleries. Views of the Uluwatu cliffs are spectacular from the temple and worth the look. The Temple is occupied by a number of wild monkies which harass visitors. While the guides make visitors aware the monkies still steal mobile phones, sunglasses and hats. It is recommended to secure all loose items in deep pockets or zipped bags. The dance is held in an open purpose built arena. The program gets you to the location 90 minutes before the show starts. People queue early to get a good seat but then had to sit in the hot sun for over an hour. Photos of the sunset behind the statues iare very impressive. The actual show is very slick and well produced. It runs for a bit under an hour. At the end of the show a thousand people all head for the car park, in the dark and at the same time. Remember to leave your temple sarong in the bin on the way out. The car park is jammed for well over an hour. The program suggests getting dinner on the way home. You won’t be near Jimbaran or Kuta until 8:30 and the drivers don’t really feel like doing a dinner stop after 90 mins in the dark dodging mad scooters with no lights. Dinner at the hotel would seem to be a more comfortable option. The tour is recommended with the listed caveats. This event is only seen in Bali.
