Private Ubud Tour: Waterfall, Rice Terrace & Monkey Forest

What a fantastic way to discover the beauty of Bali! We loved visiting the waterfall, exploring the green rice terraces, and learning more about traditional Balinese wood carving in Mas Village. The journey gave us a lovely glimpse of Bali's culture and natural beauty.

This tour was one of the highlights of our Bali holiday. Every destination had something special to offer, from the refreshing atmosphere of the waterfall to the peaceful views of Tegallalang. Monkey Forest was also a fun experience. We came away with plenty of lovely memories and photos.

We really enjoyed seeing more of Bali beyond the usual tourist spots. Visiting Mas Village and discovering its traditional wood carving was fascinating. Combined with the beautiful natural attractions around Ubud, this tour gave us a lovely introduction to Balinese culture and everyday life.

We had a really enjoyable day discovering different parts of Ubud. The itinerary was varied and gave us a lovely mix of nature, culture, and wildlife. Walking around Monkey Forest was particularly interesting, and the rice terrace views were simply gorgeous. Definitely a memorable day!

We had a wonderful private Ubud tour with Bali Trekking Tour and really enjoyed the whole experience. Our guide, Gede, was fantastic. He was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, and told us a lot about Bali, the local culture and the different places we visited. This made the tour much more interesting because we were not just sightseeing, but also learned a lot about the country and everyday life in Bali. The whole day felt very relaxed and personal, and we always felt well taken care of. Gede made the tour special with his knowledge, his positive attitude and the time he took to explain everything to us. We can absolutely recommend Bali Trekking Tour and especially Gede as a guide. Our driver Kadek Budipa was great, friendly and listened to what we wanted to do! We had a bit of a later start due to a miscommunication about the hotel but we managed to fit everything in and didn’t feel rushed anywhere. Getting this tour was so much more relaxing and enjoyable than trying to do everything ourselves and meant we had a stress free transfer from our hotel in Nusa Dua to our hotel in Ubud :) It was very easy to communicate and book our trip!

This tour was definitely worth it! Saw three amazing waterfalls ( Kanto Lampo, Tukad Cepung, and Goa Raja), a gorgeous lunch spot (Waroeng D'Yoni), coffee tasting at a coffee plantation, and our last stop was at Tegalalang Rice Terraces with the most beautiful views. Another bonus was having a driver/tour guide/photographer in one, and ours was Waly! He was awesome! Thank you for sharing your culture with us! Wish we had more time to book another tour but now we know where to go for our next Bali adventure!

Wonderful experience. It was one of the best days spent in Bali. Beautiful locations, our photographer and guide Jero was really good, kind and interesting, and took tons of pictures and videos. The driver was also excellent. They took us for lunch to the most beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. We got the pictures the same night!

Great tour that had a perfect balance of the popular tourist spots, as well as somewhat lesser known sights (like the waterfalls). The schedule was perfect as it meant we had the waterfalls basically to ourselves in the morning. Highlight for us was our wonderful guide, Kadek. He is so friendly, thoughtful and knowledgable - and really elevated the experience. Thank you Kadek! Highly recommend - we had so much fun.

We booked this tour and it was amazing from start to finish!! We were picked up by Agus our guide from our hotel in seminyak who firstly took us to see the waterfalls - which were absolutely stunning. We then proceeded on to the coffee plantation, this was very interesting, here we were able to taste the coffee/tea selection and chocolate. After this Agus took us to alas for dinner, WOW!! The views, the food, we were just completely in awe highly recommend the crispy duck too. In the afternoon we then proceeded to visit the rice pads first, we were honestly just stunned so amazing and insightful, Agus explained so much to us. To finish the day we went to the monkey forest - the funniest/best experience. We both couldn’t recommend the whole day and Agus enough, we enjoyed every second and will be booking another trip before we leave with Agus, thank you so much!:)

For us it was a wonderful experience, we enjoyed the nice views, took many photos at the waterfalls and ricefields, it was not too crowded/touristic, we had a friendly driver who liked to tell us about the places we visited, we got to taste different types of coffee and tea

This was a day well spent. We got some amazing pictures in beautiful locations. Our favorite for the full day was the monkey sanctuary (there’s always something happening there) and our great guide Ady! He was kind enough to guide and help us to find some nice local places to eat and drink. We would definitely recommend it to anyone :)

The tour today was extremely good, getting to know the Indonesian culture and see beautiful places and special thanks to our guides John and Agus for taking us around this beautiful bali and helping us take many pictures. Both the brothers were very friendly and did not rush us at all and John's driving skills were good. Will definitely want them to take us around if we are coming back to bali again. Loved these guys. I literally booked late the night before. It was easy communication and efficient. My driver, Sapri, contacted me to confirm pickup. He was so thoughtful and tried to make the drive as comfortable as possible. Sapri was super helpful when I got carsick from the curvy roads. Upon arrival at the start location Sapri made sure that I was prepared. He organised water and a spare jacket in case I got cold. He introduced me to my group and guide, Common, who was very welcoming and full of energy. From then on, Common was knowledgable and situationally aware to our small groups (5) every need. He knew when to stop for breaks and water, who needed help and when to put more clothes on or take them off. His instincts were spot on and was very accommodating. Such a cool dude! Afterwards, Sapri took me to a coffee plantation. It was nice to see the process and taste all the products. I didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything. On the drive home, Sapri made sure to take roads that would be more suitable for me and my sensitive stomach. I highly recommend this company along with Sapri and Common specifically. Couldn’t have asked for a better driver and guide. Thank you so much for your care. Keep doing what you do because it’s spot on. It didn’t go unnoticed. You won’t be disappointed using this company and these guides :)

My husband and I had such a great time on this tour around Ubud!!! Our guide John was the best!!! He knew all the best spots to go and took the best pictures too! He was very friendly and we had a great time with him! The monkey forest was so much fun, the coffee tour was amazing (who doesn’t love coffee?!) the water fall was beautiful and the rice fields were breathtaking! Definitely worth it!

We took a tour of the highlights of ubud and it was a great day. Our driver and guide, John, was very kind and achieved the best thing a traveller could want: to see and visit the main points with not that much crowd around (thing which is not that easy to do in August in Bali). We had a great day, John answered all of our questions about traditions and local customs. Lunch was lovely as well. We definitely recommend this experience :)

We booked this tour last minute as a private tour with just myself and my partner. Our guide was totally awesome. Amazing English, funny, cracking jokes, encouraging us to get to the top in record time. We found this tour moderate for fitness, it's a great straightforward path to walk up, a bit slippery getting down as its loose gravel but our guide really helps you when needed. We got hot chocolate and yummy sandwiches at the top with awesome views. Highly recommend this trip.

if u're doing this awesome hike, make sure u get Gede as ur tour guide (and a jacket). As exciting and beautiful as the hike and sunrise views were, having this funny, kind and knowledgeable tour guide made it even better. singing at the top of his lungs at random times, surprising u with interesting facts and rlly keeping an eye for everyone in the group at all times - Gede make this experience truly unforgettable.

Took the Ubud and Kintamani tour and really enjoyed ourselves! Our correspondence was rapid and helpful! Our driver, Mr Pande was very friendly and knowledgable! The tour itself was well designed, for example the coffee plantation was the best one we drove past, miles better than some! Thank you for such an enjoyable tour!

These guys were fantastic. They handled our booking, and requested modifications, with exceptional ease and professionalism, and they were incredibly responsive over email and very understanding when unforeseen injury a few days prior got in the way of our ability to do the trek. Some companies might have just absconded or stopped responding but these guys offered a refund in light of our circumstances. We look forward to booking with them on our next visit to Bali!

We booked the 3 day tour for our 9 days honeymoon. I had requested a change in one of the 3 days I initially booked about 2 weeks before the start date and Mangku was able to accommodate it. Also we stayed in Ubud and Seminyak and they were able to pick up from both locations. We had Nyoman drive us and he was great, always there when we finished with one site and taught us about local customs.

Our driver was kind and thoughtful and our guide was friendly and informative. I cannot imagine missing such a wonderful experience! Thank you!

This is the best driver I ever had while travelling to Bali recently. Very honest driver and always punctual. Always be at the place 30mins - 1 hour before our arrival time. He also recommended us some good place and show us around what DOS and DONT in town (KUTA) and UBUD. Very nice guy and have a good responsibility and careful driver. We visited several waterfalls and they were very beautiful. After that we visited the Luwak coffee making, everything was amazing. and bli ballon was very helpful he also took a lot of very nice photos.. really amazing... bli ballon gave us the best experience ever!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We took this day trip and it was memorable. We visited 2 beautiful waterfalls, the rice fields and the monkey forest. Everything was nickel, our guide Agus was super nice, very helpful and gave good advice! It is a top-notch and cheap excursion since it lasts all day (everything is included except lunch in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the rice fields). I highly recommend this excursion to Ubud. Thanks again to Agus for the day and to the organization for bringing forward the day trip at our request!
