Finding a driver willing to handle the long 4-to-5-hour trek from Central Bali to Pemuteran—a true hidden gem—is no easy task. I found Kadek on TripAdvisor after reading rave reviews, and he exceeded every single expectation. As a first-timer in Bali traveling with children, comfort and safety were my top priorities. Kadek is a fantastic driver with superb skills, keeping every ride smooth so the whole family felt relaxed throughout long journeys between Ubud, Kintamani, and Pemuteran. He is genuinely kind, friendly, and even gave us a lovely handcrafted souvenir as a surprise touch that we really appreciate. Before and during the trip, I changed our itinerary a couple of times, and Kadek was always incredibly patient, giving great advice about each location. In hindsight, I think I should have just left the entire itinerary planning to him! In Pemuteran, he brought us to fantastic spots for snorkeling, ethical dolphin watching, and an awesome Balinese cooking class. Along the way, he also introduced us to great local food spots and initiated fun activity suggestions (like a top-rated ATV experience, which sounded amazing—we just weren't dressed for it with our luggage in tow!). Kadek has a wealth of local knowledge and great ideas. My advice is to reach out and communicate with him early before your trip to collaborate on the schedule—or simply let him guide your itinerary to get the absolute most out of your Bali experience! We couldn't have asked for a better driver and guide for our Bali adventure. Highly recommended!

Splendid day out with Kadek, true wizard finding the best and most beautiful location.

We took a two-day trip with Kadek all across the island containing many activities the way we wished for. Kadek and his cousin are very kind and know the best spots for everything you want to see. Kadek takes you to places that are not overcrowded with tourists, thereby bringing you closer to the real Bali.

We had an exceptional experience with Badil, who quickly understood our expectations and showed us some beautiful places off the beaten path. We were lucky enough to have Komang Suantara as our driver for the day, and we couldn’t be more grateful! He met us at our hotel and made sure we were prepared for the day, including water provided to us. Komang was a safe driver and very flexible when it came to the itinerary and making sure we saw many of the sights before the large crowds arrived. He is also accommodating when it comes to additional stops for photos along the route & captured some amazing photos of us. He took time to explain sights and educate us on Balinese culture which was very helpful. Komang also suggested other options that were also practical and just as beautiful. Each stop was memorable and we knew what we were looking at thanks to his insights. His english is excellent and conversations in the car were fun. Overall, our day with Komang Suantara was amazing thanks to his professionalism, dedication and connection to the local people and community.

Travel Bali April 2026 Our family trip to Bali was fantastic and partly because of a nice day with Kadek! Kadek was hired by our tour operator as a driver to drive us from west of Bali to east. During the first hour Kadek asked what we had seen so far. Then Kadek took us to beautiful viewpoints, a temple, a fantastic restaurant and the Baliswing. We did not really want to visit the latter because of its very commercial nature. Super nice that we have been there on Kadek's advice. It has given us beautiful family photos. Kadek brought us everywhere really nothing is too much for this kind man. Only late in the evening we arrived at our hotel after a day of wonder and adventure. We are still very grateful to Kadek for sharing his experience and his knowledgeable guidance. When we travel to Bali again I will definitely want to travel with Kadek for a week. We were very lucky to have Komang Suantara as our driver during our Bali holiday – and what can we say? It was just fantastic! From the very beginning, Komang impressed us with his incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful nature. He always takes time for his guests, responds to individual wishes and ensures that you feel completely at home. His English is very good, which makes communication pleasant and straightforward. We were particularly impressed by how much he tells us about Balinese culture, traditions and customs – with real passion and passion. Already on the first day, when we visited the Jatiluwih rice terraces, Handara Gate, the view of the Twin Lake and Pura Tirta Empul temple, among others, he provided us with exciting information and made these wonderful places even more interesting. Although originally only one tour was planned, we were so enthusiastic about Komang that we spontaneously went on two more tours with him – to the south and east of Bali (among other things to the most beautiful beaches, highly recommended!). And there, too, he gave us beautiful moments that we will never forget. Particularly noteworthy is that Komang often does more than agreed – for him it is no problem if a tour takes longer or something is changed spontaneously. So he took us from himself to a beautiful waterfall near the twin lakes. This flexibility and commitment is simply extraordinary. Komang made our holiday in Bali very special. We are infinitely grateful to him and can heartily recommend him. If you really want to experience Bali, you should definitely travel with Komang, as he is full of passion at work.
