This was one of the best things to do on my holiday. The family was very humble and lovely and I felt very supported through the process. The workshop was very interesting to see and to watch them in action. I walked away having made my own silver ring, which I was very proud of. This was hands down one of the most authentic and memorable experiences I had in Bali. Arik was an exceptional teacher who patiently guided me through every step of creating a ring of my choice. From etching my initials into the silver to sanding, soldering, smoothing, and filing, he explained each technique clearly and made the entire process approachable and fun. The experience didn’t end there. Afterward, Arik generously gave me a tour of his family temple and compound, which added such a meaningful cultural layer and made this feel truly special, not touristy at all. I only wish my Grab hadn’t arrived so quickly so I could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a hands-on, authentic, and unforgettable experience in Bali, this is an absolute must-do. Highly, highly recommend.

Great time spent making a lovely ring for myself, I had a personalised jewellery lesson in the morning and so was given the full attention of the teacher. I was able to make a lovely ring to take home. Experience 10/10 totally recommend you will not be disappointed. I had attended a silver jewellery making class at another studio, this one was much better, the silver used much better quality.

This class was amazing, the instructor was very informative about the skills, equipment & how to make the best pieces, his family was a joy and very educational. I would tell anyone to take this class.

We were welcomed by the family at the door and were given some cold drinks on arrival. We then went straight into it and he helped us decide what would work and what is too complicated. He helped us through each stage step by step always there ready to help if needed. They were all very helpful and polite. I looked into a jewelry making class and decided to pick this one based on the positive reviews. We arrived at the class a bit untidy and were welcomed with open arms by a lovely crew who worked closely with us where needed and guided us where appropriate. It was a delightful afternoon, lots of fun and laughter and the outcome was each of us got a lovely ring that was just what we wanted. I was so excited when i saw my favourite animal the Manta. we were able to integrate this lovely creature into my ring, my niece was able to make a matching pair for herself and her daughter and her friend was so excited to also make her dream ring. I would totally recommend this class to any who are looking for a creative, light hearted, productive afternoon with great guidance and company

My daughter and I had a great time today, we both made pieces which were a bit more difficult, and received help with technique and process to ensure that our finished items were lovely. We were the only two there and so received a lot of one on one instructions which was greatly appreciated. We both walked away with pieces we are proud of. This is a small family business with jewelry making handed down from father to son, you also go to their home, where the open workshop is setup. One of the reasons for booking was to support small family businesses in Ubud, I would highly recommend you do too!!

this was a great experience. it's a private setting at the silversmith workshop. You're able to make any design you wish So come with some ideas. he is there to support you, provide helpful design tips and then through the process of creating your own silver piece you learn the process of traditional silversmithing. this is a great activity for Solo traveler. couples or groups. would do again

This was a wonderful experience, we were warmly greeted with both smiles and snacks and very quickly began our class . It was so interesting learning how the jewellery is made and we had a lot of fun making our pieces. The following day photos and videos from our class were sent to us . This is a small family business delivering a great product.

Lovely activity outside of the crowded cities to get into traditional handmade silver Balinese crafting know how and create a forever piece of jewelry to keep. I had the chance to get a private session with Arik and choose my own design inspiration. Also he and his family were very kind to help me getting a taxi during a power outage ! Outstanding! Arik and his family were kind and talented silver smiths and very generous of their time and skills. all four of us were able to design and execute our own silver jewellery (with a lot of help from Arik and his family). Really satisfying and fun.

The class was an amazing experience, he walked us through step by step on how to make our own custom jewelry. We were able to start by choosing from a catalogue of designs he had but also gave us the option to make up our own design if we wanted. It was a hands on experience that allowed us to make the jewelry ourselves but stepped in when professional experience was needed and the rings came out amazing. Would absolutely recommend!

A very nice and experienced teacher. We (my husband and I) had this jewelery making session in a typical Balinese family home (we've met the family). Easy to find with Google maps and a short 25 minute drive with a scooter from Ubud. We went there by ourselves but the teacher also offered to arrange a taxi for us. After some introduction about the craft, you get to pick from nice examples or you can bring/make your own design. The course is 3 hours but that's enough time to make something beautiful. If a technique is difficult don't worry he helps you so you have a beautiful piece to take home. Just a very nice experience (with something to drink and a snack)

The 3 of us had a great lesson with Arik . We were impressed with the instructions that Arik gave us and we were all very pleased with the jewelry that we made. We recommend this fabulous class.

We researched classes very carefully before deciding on this class and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our teacher, Arik, was very skilled in many techniques for silver jewellery making and was very generous in his explanation and demonstration. We had ideas of what we wanted to achieve in the class and he helped us to realise these ideas utilising a step by step approach which made it so easy for us. He saw when we were struggling and offered to step in to help when needed ensuring we achieved the result of a beautiful quality piece of jewellery. He also offered a catalogue of ideas of items which we could choose from. An intimate class in number (just us!) and setting. Not only the class but some great conversation and hospitality. Highly recommend this class! A very memorable experience in Bali. Thank you Arik!

10/10 experience Very fun and creative Our instructor was very friendly as well as being incredibly skilled. We were given welcome drinks and fruit I opted for a fun free style ring and my boyfriend went for a sleek design - they turned out amazing! Couldn’t be happier with our experience. Having experienced the process I couldn’t imagine having not done it - it’s a MUST do in Bali. Having a private class is definitely the way to go. Couldn’t have imagined it with so many people!

What an amazing day. Our host was incredible. His family has been involved in making silver jewellery for generations. He was patient and very knowledgeable. He had a catalogue of design ideas or you could bring your own. He helped guide us all way so that when we left we had items of jewellery we could be so proud of. This was definately a highlight of our trip. Must book.

We came in with a very ambitious but concrete idea on what to make and he helped us to achieve it - even though we took a lot longer than planned. But he was an excellent and very patient teacher who answered all our questions about tools and techniques and we're more than happy with the results! So beside the newly learned skills, we get to take home our wonderful pendants as our personal honeymoon trip souvenirs. This was one of the best experiences we had in Bali. There were jewelry making classes close to our hotel, but we chose this one and I’m so glad we did because we had the opportunity to meet the instructor’s family and saw his home. He was so patient and helpful with us. We each ended up with a jewelry piece that was personal and more beautiful than we imagined was possible. It was both a fun and cultural experience.

Absolutely amazing experience with Kadek. Made 2 rings and a necklace pendant in the silver jewellery making class. It was a great experience first designing the jewellery itself, then to cutting, moulding, soldering and polishing our jewellery. Kadew was an amazing teacher, incredibly patient and really helpful. His family were very welcoming, with his wife giving us drinks and snacks! All of us were really pleased with our jewellery. Thanks for an amazing time.

What an AMAZING experience. Kadek and his family were so kind and welcoming. The workshop is held in their family compound, so you also get a glimpse into Balinese family life. Kadek is a wonderful instructor, who is incredibly kind and patient, and he introduced us to the techniques of the art of traditional Balinese jewelry making. With his expert guidance, we were each able to design our very own unique creations. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend this workshop. In fact, we will definitely be returning on our next trip to Bali. Honestly, we would have paid far more than we did, because it was well worth it. Book this experience now, because you definitely won't regret it.

This was a lovely trip. I got to meet the family, had some fruit snacks and drink on arrival. He talked me through the process of making the jewellery from melting the silver to polishing. Showed me examples of what I could make from pendants, keyring, rings etc. He explained that he was taught by his Dad who I got to meet. The whole process was really fun, he showed me what to do at each stage and guided me through. I wanted to make a keyring and would cost a little more than the 10grm allowance as I w acted it a little thicker he made sure I was aware of the small additional cost by weighting once I had made the initial shape. The cost for the additional silver is really good and I can see the quality of the silver in the finished keyring I made a few mistakes and he easily corrected these I’m so happy with what I made that I commissioned him to make a similar one for my Dad. It was exceptional and he sent sample images for me to approved and believed it the next day. I am so happy with this class and would recommend to small groups or solo travellers

I have experience and wanted to learn the Balinese techniques and tools. This class was brilliant. Small groups which is great. Plenty of explanations and help when you needed it, and I was enabled to create my own design and use the tools myself as needed. Both brothers have a lot of experience and skills, learnt from their father. I would recommend this class if you want to make jewellery while in Bali. I love the ring I created and the chance to use their interesting soldering system. Thank you. 🙏

I’ve been to Bali several times before but this is the first time I’ve seen a class on offer like this. The silver workshop is based outside their family home. The instructor was very patient and supportive. You have the freedom to design a ring, bracelet or pendant etc… we both chose earrings. I added pearl drops to mine. I was very happy with the product I created and have much more appreciation for the process now. Highly recommend you give it a go. We will be back to create more unique pieces.
