Peter was an incredible guide. My wife and I booked the Private Tour of Ubud and Tanah Lot so we could see all the beauty of Ubud, as we are not directly staying there on our trip, and it was perfect. We were picked up at our Hotel at 9am sharp in a roomy air conditioned car just for the two of us. Peter was warm and funny, and extremely well informed about Balinese and Hindu culture and practice. We learned so much it’s impossible to recount all of it. It’s clear that Peter knows the island and all of your stops like the back of his hand. He took care of all our tickets, dropped us right at the gate while he parked, and always made sure we had water and were prepared for each stop, coming with us on all our journeys to share his knowledge of the island and the people. We booked another tour with Peter for a few days from now and can’t wait to see him again.

What a fantastic day with our very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Agung. Loved every minute of this interesting and diverse excursion, which showed us the Monkey Forest, Rice Terraces (including local Balinese cuisine), Luwak Coffee plantation, Taman Ayun temple and the magical Tanah Lot temple as the sun set. We had an amazing tour with our driver Mr. Berata, the tour is well planed out and at every stop you can decide how long would you like to stay and explore. And for us the driver made our tour excellend, because he really knew a lot and explaned everything we asked him, he was also very attentive and really cared about our wellbeing. He also made extra stop when we wanted to buy something.

We had the most amazing time with our driver Kris over the 4 days full of Bali sightseeing! The tours are easily customisable and you’re able to hire a driver and make up your itinerary completely (eg we did a silver jewellery course and wanted to see the Bali bird and reptile parks). Kris made sure we were comfortable and hydrated, provided us with so much information about the places we visited, and answered all our questions. He took photos of us at all the spots too. It was great being able to go at our own pace too- not having to wait for others on a big tour or rush around too quickly. Absolutely recommend this company!! We did the Tanah Lot and Ubud tour, snorkelling at Blue Lagoon, and the Uluwatu tour with seafood dinner. We were able to spend time at the things we wanted to see and skip or swap out the things we weren’t fussed about. Hire Bali Driver was the best decision we made during our Bali trip, 10/10

Our guide was Komang. He was adorable in his passion for making sure we had best view of Bali. He introduced us to some very specific street food and helped us getting lovely pictures or memories! I have to come back again. And will call Komang again.

I had book this a week before my trip. I wanted To get a base line of what Bali had to offer. On the day of my excursion, I had the best time with the guide, Agus. He was knowledgeable in every tour we went. During the ride to each destination, we chatted about the culture and history of Bali. What was supposed to be an hour and a half drive felt like a half hour because we were so busy chatting away. At every destination, he was patient throughout the whole time while I looked and asked away. I enjoyed my excursion with Agus. After my trip, he had explained some of the other things I could do and so I booked another excursion with Hire Bali Driver and all I can say is that they do not disappoint. Side note: I’m a solo female travel and I felt completely comfortable with Agus.

We had a great time going around Ubud it was even better doing it with our guide. Sunarta was really informative! I preferred this to a group trip as you can do everything at your own pace. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

Moler is really a terrific driver at the same time a tourguide! Aside from bringing us safe from one place to another, he also offered his expertise in taking us a picture in every place we go. He's very funny and he didn't allow boredom to strike us regardless of the long ride inside the car. He would play songs during the trip and he would sing along with us. We had a wonderful experience with Made our guide. He was very knowledge and pleasant. The sights were amazing and we got to see so many of the spots we had on our list. I had an absolutely wonderful experience on this tour with a wonderful driver: Berata. On our way to our first stop, Berata offered to take us to local artisans such as jewelry makers, art galleries, etc. so it truly felt like a local experience. We got to do SO MUCH all in one day! I had a burning desire to do the sunrise volcano hike, but was the only person in my 6 person travel group interested in this activity. I asked Berata if he could help with this and he personally picked me up and dropped me off at my Villa and made arrangements for me to go on the hike without needing to pre-purchase a ticket in advance! He truly went out of his way and both tours were amazing. Particularly loved all the different coffees and the rice plantations 😊 This is a “must-do” in Bali for sure.

An excellent tour around a few of the main sites to see in Bali. Our driver, Diano, was beyond hospitable. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He made my friends and I feel very welcome throughout the ride, during the tours, and patient with us. He was also kind enough to take pictures for us and showed us some tricks that we were not aware our camera phones were capable of. Diano took is to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a hike through the Rice Terraces, went swinging over the terraces, Taman Ayun Temple, where he enlightened us about the history of the culture's worship and beliefs, and Tanah Lot. Overall a wonderful tour and we couldn't have asked for a better driver/tour guide. Thanks Diano, for making my trip to Bali a memorable one!

How the tour goes is subjected to how the weather holds up, and I was thankful for Panca, the guide, who decided to be flexible with the itinerary in order to beat the weather. We had the flexibility of stopping where we wanted to rest and get a good view of the rice terraces, temples and gardens. Panca was very knowledgeable and keen to share his understanding of Balinese history and culture as well, which made for easy conversation and a comfortable journey throughout the day. This is a good tour to see the highlights of Ubud with the privacy and flexibility you want.

Diano was an amazing guide, driver, photographer and historian! He made us feel so safe during our long day exploring Ubud and Tanah Lot! We did a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes! The rice terraces have jungle swings/nests that you will need to pay extra to access. I wish I would have worked out a couple times in advance because you can do a fair amount of hiking through the terraces! We also went to grab coffee which was a nice addition to keep us going and sunset at Tanah Lot was gorgeous! Diano knew all the panorama tricks and got us some amazing photos so I highly recommend you request him!

We went to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Rice Terraces, Taman Ayun Temple and saw the sunset at Tanah Lot. Sacred Monkey Forest: Be sure to close your purse, keep your phone near and wallet deep in your pocket. My friend messed up and got her canon lens cover jacked by a cute monkey lol Rice Terrace: Be prepared for a nice hike down and around. Wear appropriate shoes. A lot of folk had sandals but I’d recommend shoes. Lunch: We are at D’alas Warung for an authentic Indonesia lunch. I got the Nasi Campur. Delicious! Taman Ayun Temple: Beautiful Temple. I really appreciate how Diano went in details with different religions, shared different meaning of things and too the time to explain in detail the Hindu and Muslim religion. As a Christian, I love to learn about someone else’s religion to understand how different and similar Christianity and their religion is. Tanah Lot: Beautiful shots! The sunset is BREATHTAKING! There’s shops around for souvenirs, food and drinks.

Dudy was very easy to talk to and we got along very well. Was happy to adjust schedules and what ever else we needed. He was very familiar with the locations we visited and was happy to answer any questions we had. Very cool guy over all.

Our guide for the day was Peter who was very informative and provided a 5** service. Managed to visit coffee plantation, monkey forest, rice fields, temples and Tanah Lot with lunch in between. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a tour that covers the best of Bali, this is it! Koang Pi showed us the best highlights of his country—beautiful Bali. He is a great (and safe) driver and he has the best local knowledge. Even with a delay in tendering into port to meet him for our tour, he waited patiently for us to arrive. He made sure to take pictures of us at every site. And along with all the stops on our tour, we still made it to Tanah Lot well ahead of sunset. He also showed us the best places to shop for souvenirs, and the prices were much better than we saw elsewhere. The highlight of our day was lunch overlooking the rice terraces of Ubud—magnificent!! He was so professional and had outstanding customer service. It was a very hot day out and had tons of cold water for me. We went to the Monkey Forest, Rice Terraces, Taman Ayun and Tanah Lot. He was very knowledgeable about each place we went and also taught me about the Balinese culture. I would recommend Made to any of my friends for future tours.

We’re traveling with elder family members and wanted to spend more time in our villa, hence we needed extra stopping points to pick up foods and other excursions. So we sit down with our driver Berata before with started the tour and was very satisfied with his accompanying. Great flexibility and sincerity in giving advice on avoiding scams. The car is new compared to other we took on the island few days ago.

Great day tour to discover Ubud and Tanah Lot. Our guide Aron met us in the hotel lobby. He was very punctual, a really nice guy. His car was new and very clean. He explained the traditions and culture in Bali in a very comprehensive way. During the route, he safely drove through the small streets of Ubud. Probably one of the most attentive drivers in the island. The lunch could be a little bit better, but it doesn't affect the whole result. We chose not to stay until the sunset in Tanah Lot because we were really tired after all stops. Highly recommended for all people who want to see the beautiful rice fields and discover a little bit of the rich balinese culture with comfort, safety and kind explanations. It worths the price.
