Private Tour : Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking And Rice Terrace With All Inclusive

We had an amazing time on this private Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking and Rice Terrace tour — an experience made even better thanks to our fantastic driver, guide, and photographer, Adi. He was truly multitalented: warm, helpful, always on time, and knowledgeable. Not only did he answer all of our extra questions about Balinese culture, but he also took some stunning photos of us at the rice terraces. His friendly and talkative nature made the long day feel easy and enjoyable. Everything about the tour was smoothly organized and well planned — minus the Ubud traffic, but hey, what can you do there! The trek up Mount Batur was a definite highlight. Our mountain guide was kind, attentive, and made sure we felt safe, especially during the dark early hours of the hike. He shared fascinating insights about Bali, along with some personal stories (wishing him all the best as a dad to two baby boys!). He even sang and played a guitar! We were lucky to catch a few breathtaking minutes of sunrise after a rainy and grey start — and he captured those moments with some truly great photos. Highly recommended if you're looking for a memorable and well-supported adventure in Bali!

Sari was our guide for the day. She was fantastic soo friendly and fun. Very knowledgeable. Great guide climbing up and down Mount Batur. We felt well looked after. The highlight was the sunrise we had a clear morning but it does get quite cool and breezy at the summit so take some warm clothes. Amazing tour and guide.

We spent the day trekking for the sunrise mount batur. The experience was amazing and views stunning. This was followed up by a trip to the rice fields which was great to see (how rice is planted and made) not to mention the famous swing everyone posts on Instagram! Thank you Aris for a amazing day! He was super helpful and friendly and ensured the whole experience flowed seamlessly. Thank you to our mountain guide Yulan for getting us up and down the mountain in one piece!

Fantastic tour, we were a group of 9 friends and they catered for everyone. They picked us up from our Villa in Seminyak (after they drove from Ubud) at 2am, we’re so lovely and dropped us off where we had some yummy banana pancakes and tea. The hike was amazing and well worth it! It was actually very fun walking in the dark and the sunrise was absolutely gorgeous 🌺 After our walk down we drove for an hour to the rice fields and spent some time walking around, enjoying the views 🌴🍚 We then drive to a lovely cat poo coffee shop and enjoyed a great selection for local teas, coffee and hot chocolate, as well as a little tour. At the end of the day, our two lovely drivers dropped us off at our villa. Big thank you to these boys for driving us all day, all the best, we loved spending the day with you ❤️

The sunrise trek was amazing. Gusti drove us nice and early (2am) and our walking guide was very polite and knowledgeable. At the top, we had hot drinks and some breakfast which was great. Our guide also took very nice photos for us. Highly recommend :)

Alit was a fantastic driver and guide . He was on time at 2:00 am for early pickup. After our nocturnal drive with nice chitchat with our Ubud expert we met our hike guide, Adi. Thankfully Adi gave us frontal lights to follow him during our 2 hours hike up to the crater. Then it was magical: we just watched the sun rose while eating our breakfast well prepared by Adi. Thanks to our guide we had a perfect spot for the best sunrise shooting. Alit was super accommodating as we changed our pick up point , half way back instead of down to the hill. This change gave us plenty more time to enjoy Tegalalang rice terrace . Alit was a great guide as we stopped for more pictures on our way and at the rice terrace, he helped us to find the best option for the magical swing moment. When we arrived back to the hotel we were glowing of happiness thanks to Alit and Adi who made everything possible in a very safe and well organized cultural Ubud experience .

Book with this company! Like another reviewer, I did this as a solo traveler. My guide, Buda, was incredible. I'm not a highly experienced hiker but I'm somewhat fit, run often and this was not a difficult hike for me. Buda recognized this early on and we took several shortcuts that allowed us to reach the summit much quicker. There are A LOT of other people doing this trek. A good guide will make all the difference. On the flip side, if you are not very fit, your guide will adjust accordingly, offer you breaks, help you along the way and give you as much time as you need. My driver, Ketut, was fantastic! He was on time, well prepared and is a great navigator. We got stuck in some Bali traffic but, knowing the island so well, he turned down a different road, went completely around the traffic and saved us a lot of time. He was also just a really great guy in general and I would not hesitate to book another tour with him!

A fantastic place to book any tours Bali related. Gusti and Adi showed us such an amazing time and incredible sights. Trustworthy, kind, polite, helpful and extremely professional. 1000% recommend!

11/10 recommend this unforgettable experience! It’s worth the early wake up, trust me. We scheduled this for our last morning. Gusti picked us up and let us nap in the car before setting us up with a kind and knowledgeable guide (and headlamps!) before starting our hike. We learned about the surrounding agriculture and volcano on our ascent and took breaks. At the top, we had coffee and banana sandwiches while waiting for the most INCREDIBLE sunrise. From dawn to rising it’s an ever changing, magical view - even the whole way down, too! We cannot wait to come back to Bali for our next tour with Gusti.

Probably the best part of our trip to Bali! Our guide was so helpful and accommodating on the way up. Bali Natural Tours made sure we got to the destination on time. They even had spare rain ponchos for us so we didn't get wet on the way up. The views from the top are truly rewarding, especially when we got to see a ton of monkeys enjoying their morning nearby. Do not skip tis if you go to Bali.

This trek was beautiful. I did this trek solo with my guide and can recommend this for anyone travelling alone. One of the things I loved was that I met my guide away from the main meeting area. I met him lower in the valley closer to the water which meant we took a different path and walked alone for a lot of the trek. My guide was sweet and knowledgeable and encouraging when the hike got tough. I felt looked after and safe on the hike at at the top having breakfast. It was cloudy when I went so no views but the landscape was still beautiful to me.

This company was absolutely amazing. The experience that I had with Iluh as my guide was amazing. She was so professional, kind, and a pleasure to hike with. I can’t recommend them highly enough, as well as my guide.

We did a very early morning trek to the top of Mount Batur, organised by Gusti. Our guide Suri was amazing and very helpful. She also has great camera skills! She was very attentive and went at a pace that suited us. Would definitely recommend.

We had an incredible time today on our hike up Mount Batur, followed by a nice lunch at a local restaurant in Ubud. The hike was picturesque with sweet and helpful guides, and we had a very pleasant travel experience with Gusti. He was super kind and made the journey smooth!

We were able to see the first glimpse of light all the way through the CRAZIEST sunrise I’ve ever seen. I could not believe what I was seeing. After the sunrise, we hiked down around the volcano’s crater through the clouds. Our hiking guide, Sari, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and a great photographer :) After the hike we did a delicious coffee and tea tasting at a local plantation then headed to the rice terraces to take in the views and do the Bali swing! We were lucky that our guides took us to a fantastic local Indonesian lunch after. The guides really made all the difference, being incredibly accommodating, informative, and fun. I really cannot recommend this tour enough, you can’t leave Bali without doing it. 100/10!!!

We had such an amazing time on this tour! Gusti was super friendly, knowledgeable and all around a great time! Started off by him being early to pick us up which was great! Then he took us to the sunrise trek which was simply breathtaking! The hike itself + the views and breakfast at the top were unforgettable! On our trek down the mountain we stopped and played with monkeys and learned about the volcano which was a bonus! When we got back Gusti was very accommodating and gave us options when it came to our next activities! We went and explored the Tegallalang rice terraces next. After, at the coffee plantation, Gusti had so much knowledge to share with us! We had a great time tasting the different coffees and teas that were made there! All around, it was an amazing day and I would recommend it to anyone :)

Gusti was our driver and he had everything planned perfectly and was very punctual. He was very accommodating and was the nicest guy we met on our trip. He ensured we had a great time and even went the extra mile to organise two more excursions for us on the day as we were in Ubud just for one day. Gusti also took us to both additional activities and helped us get a transfer back to our hotel in Kuta at very short notice. He would of driven us himself but he had another customer that afternoon. We did the mount Batur Trek with Suli our guide who works with Gusti. She was fantastic and I would highly recommend her if you book this trip. She was so funny and very knowledgeable which made the 2hr Trek so much fun. Gusti and his team were absolute stars. I plan on going back to Bali very soon and will definitely be using these guys to explore the rest of the island. They were so good we had to get a pic together :)

Gusti was our tour guide and driver, and he was very accomodating and ensured we had a great time, which we did! He arrived on time at our resort, and provided us with water bottles too. He can speak pretty good english so its easy to converse with him. We felt he was genuinely interested in helping us, and he has recommended a great female tour guide for the trek. The trek was not easy, and very dark in the morning (flashlight provided). I freaked out near the top and could not proceed any higher. However the checkpoint we stopped at had outstanding views anyway. Banana sandwich + boiled egg+ coffee was provided as quick breakfast. We arrived back from the trip at about 10am. He was never overbearing and rude, and a very understanding person. We felt very safe and comfortable in his clean car too. I reached out to Gusti via whatsapp after reading good reviews on tripadvisor. He responded on same day. Would definetely recommend him to anyone, and look forward to seeing him again when we go back. Note: We also did the blue lagoon tour with him with added on Tegenungan waterfall.

We did the mount batur trek with bali natural tours. Our guide Suli and driver Juli were both great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. A must do while you're in Bali.

We were picked up from our hotel in Ubud on time by Gusti, quite possibly the most friendly tour guide in all of Bali. He made sure we had everything needed for our sunrise hike, including a simple breakfast (hard boiled egg, toast and a banana). He did provide cheap flashlights, but I recommend using a head lamp if you have one. Upon arriving at Mt. Batur, Gusti hooked us up with one of the best tour guides in the business: Suli (a great English speaking local from a nearby village). Suli not only joined us for the 2-hour hike to the summit, but she also showed us the craters, steam holes and taught us about local culture. She's also a fantastic photographer! After the hike, Gusti drove us to the Tegalalang Rice Terrace as well as a coffee tour to try the world's most expensive coffee: Luwak coffee. All-in-all an amazing experience and would highly recommend Gusti and Bali Natural Tours. You won't be disappointed!

Gusti was incredible. He picked us up on time and drove us very early to hike Mt Batur at sunrise. From there, he brought us to see the rice terrace which was incredible. He was chatty and very informative. When he realized it was our last day and we did not yet see the artist work of Ubud he took us to see that (something we did not pay for but he thought we should see). It was such a memorable day. He could not have been more accommodating to us!! Definitely recommend using him!

Very beautiful sunrise at Mount Batur. The effort is worth it. Thanks to our driver Aris who was very kind and pleasantly flexible.

We were picked up on time and driven to the parking lot at the foot of the volcano. The route up to the summit with our guide was challenging, but well done for average sporty people. The sunrise was magical and rewarded for getting up early and the effort. You should take a sweater with you because it can be quite fresh on the summit. All in all it was a great experience and the trip absolutely recommended!
