Private Full-day Tour: Amazing The Gate Of Heaven Bali Tour

Made Wijaya was my driver/tour guide and he was spectacular 🙏🏿🙌🏿…we drove all the way from Canggu and it was a two hour drive to and from, I did not feel the drive/distance and we just got along very well, always present and helpful. The was a language barrier but we would always work through it ❤️..the activities are fun and full of historical elements, very insightful…enjoyed my lunch at De’ Loise restaurant and wrapped up the day by Virgin beach 🏖️ Bali ❤️.

Our driver Made was super friendly but by his own admission his command of english was severely limited in spite of TA's promises to the contrary. We're pretty chill about such things so it wasn't that big a deal for us The drive and destinations were pretty nice but full disclosure the trip to Heavens Gate takes 2.5 hours from Sanur for example so alot of the day is spent observing from the car windows without the benefit of informative conversation..AC was good which was critical because if the extreme heat and humidity don't get you sweating the terrifying driving pactices certainly will. That's not a criticism of Made's driving - it's just a statement of fact that driving in Bali is a blood sport so keep that in mind if you're a nervous passenger! All in all an enjoyable day for us but "your results may vary" depending on how relaxed a traveller you are.

I had Wijaya as my guide and he was absolutely wonderful. He was so knowledgeable about all the places we went to, and his photography skills are top notch. When I booked directly through the company they were able to perfectly tailor me a tour to my exact wishes. The price was also very competitive compared to other tours I’ve seen. I had lunch included and it was great to try some authentic Indonesian food.

Shout out to nice guy Hari who spent the day driving us around. Navigated some crazy traffic and detours with grace. Instructed us in the best vantage points for photos and obliged us with taking pics for us. Thanks again for showing us around

Mr. Nyoman is an excellent driver not just at his driving skills but truly a wonderful person at heart as he knew how to handle the tavel requirements and how to go about showing us the various scenic spots which are sometimes not mentioned in the itinerary. He is knowledgeable, patient and so caring in his attitude. I would highly recommend using his services.

Wayan was an excellent driver and tour guide. He shared so much of his life and culture it was much more than just a day trip. He was very happy to tailor our experience and to accommodate our various changes and detours. Great day out and I highly recommend Wayan Balik for your tour.

The locations were nice and beautiful for photos however when booking I thought we would get a guide giving us information about the places we visited, I wanted to learn more about the areas and places but you only get a driver taking you around, it’s not an informative guided tour

Amazing day, Mother Nature was not on our side but we had a great day. Our driver Ketut was fantastic, very knowledgeable & accommodating with great conversation.

It was a long day but so worth it. Kadek, our driver, was excellent. He ensured that we had a good day and was flexible with timings. Exceptional value and the trip included all entry fees and lunch. It was nice to see parts of East Bali that we haven’t seen before.

Our driver / tour guide Wayan Balik was safe driver and knowledgeable of tour spots and local culture and surrounding. The car was kept clean and always assisted getting in and out of the vehicle and giving us local safety tips.

We had a wonderful and memorable time, our tour guy Agung was very informative and friendly. We never felt new to Bali b cause of his service and his nature and courtesy. Fantastic day with fun and knowledgable tour guide. Gate of Heaven and the Bali Swing are at the same place, Lempuyang Temple. Lots of amazing scenery, and the guide helped us a lot. All inclusive is the best way.

It’s our second day in Bali and with the same guide “@Cok,Agung”. Very nice and helpful, with us through out the day and helped a lot even by taking good photos. We enjoyed and able to complete the tours completely comfortable along with our 2 kids these two days. We recommended “Bali Full day tour” and Agung..

A bit of an overrated experience, unless you’re an Instagram influencer. The wait to take a photo at Lempuyang Temple is at least 1.5 to 2 hours, and personally, it felt like a complete waste of time. There’s nothing authentic about it. Afterward, we visited the Water Palace, which was genuinely beautiful and enjoyable. Then we went to Virgin Beach, which is nice, but you have to pay 50k for a sunbed. Our final stop was a local village, which was interesting in terms of learning about local traditions. However, there was pressure to buy something to ‘support’ the village, which felt a bit forced. As for our driver, while he wasn’t a bad guy, the smell in the car was unbearable, especially since we weren’t feeling well due to Bali belly. He also didn’t offer any explanation or join us at the stops—just drove us from place to place.

First of all our tour was amazing for a Bali tour. Our driver Mr Ketut Suartana was so nice, polite and helpful. He was like a guide. He picked us from our hotel lobby at 5:00am. It was much more advantageous than other tours in terms of price and route. You can visit 4-5 different place in a day. I recommend adding it to your Bali trip.

Ngurah was helped us very well. Gate of heaven tour is recommended. He also helped us to take photos. He guides us for the important places.

Nyoman was an amazing driver and tour guide. He’s super friendly and helpful and he really made our day special. He explained where we were going and a bit of history about how long the temple had been there.

Beautiful places. Young cocco on Virgin beach relaxing…interesting visiting the temples and the view but the time to wait for the picture at lampuyang is really too much! (4 hours!)

We enjoyed our tour and it was a long wait for photo shoots at Lempuyung temple. The drive was 3 hours from our hotel in Kuta plus almost three hours of waiting for picture taking. Our tour guide/driver Rusty helped us to ensure that the programs were followed. WRT lunch, it’s not really that good but it still okay. Other than that, long and tiring day.

I would like to thank you for a wonderful day trip and fantastic driver & guide Putu. He was one of a kind, showed us everything, explain everything we asked. He realy took good care of us, watched every step we made so nothing would gone wrong.

We had an amazing day with our Tour guide/driver Wayan. We went on the full day Gates of Heaven tour visiting Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga water garden, Taman Ujung Water Palace,Water Sand Beach, local village, and a delicious lunch and coffee tasting! Wayan made the day special as we had great conversation in English talking about the beautiful Bali island sites, culture, history. Wayan attentive, let us explore our own without rushing, and an awesome driver through the crazy Bali traffic😎. Having a private driver/tour guide who was prompt, friendly, and a great humor, provided us a great perspective about Indonesia and the Bali people as we were able to ask many questions!
