Kadek and Komang are so friendly and hospitable, and helped us make beautiful silver rings (other jewelry is possible too). They are very knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. My wife had been wanting jewelry just like this, and it was interesting to see the process of how it’s made. We were in Ubud for part of our honeymoon and found their shop, and we are so glad we did. Highly recommend!

I completed a silver making course today , in Ubud, with a lovely young Balinese husband and wife team, Kedak and Komang. It was truly one of the highlights of my time here. Nestled in a peaceful studio surrounded by lush greenery, the class was both a creative and learning experience. From the moment I arrived, the instructors were welcoming, patient, and incredibly skilled. They guided us through each step—melting and shaping the silver, sawing, soldering, and polishing—with a perfect balance of hands-on support and artistic freedom. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, the course is tailored to help you create something beautiful and personal. I chose to make a ring, and watching it take shape from raw silver into a finished piece was deeply satisfying. All the tools were provided and support was always on hand. The atmosphere was relaxed yet focused. Plus, the small group size( only two of us) allowed for a lot of one to one support. I left not only with a unique piece of jewelry but also with a deeper appreciation for the artistry and care that goes into handmade work. If you're looking for a memorable, hands-on activity in Bali that blends creativity and a touch of sparkle—this course is a must.

I went there yesterday evening, with no expectations and an open mind. I found a small family business- a passionate couple with a little girl who made me feel like home. It was the best non-touristy experience I had in Bali. They were patient, helpful, supportive and, apart from learning the basics of jewelry creation, I left not with a some great jewelry, but also with a smile on my face and a hear full of gratitude.

This was an amazing activity to do! They were so helpful and patient in showing us how to make our own jewelry. It was so interesting to see the whole process from start to finish. They helped us make any design we wished. We highly recommend Ondox Silver to anyone in the area! Definitely a must do activity in Bali!

Lovely family business. You can book direct for 450k. You get 6 grams which is less than some other ones at 7grams. But if you are just doing for the experience this is very worthwhile and you get a taste. More complicated designs require more help from them.

This jewellery making class was a real highlight of our trip. The lovely husband and wife team welcomed us into their home with such warmth and generosity, offering complimentary Balinese snacks and water as we settled in. They were clearly very skilled and passionate about their craft, and patiently guided us through every step of the ring making process, from shaping and soldering to polishing and engraving. Even when I made a few mistakes along the way, the husband kindly helped correct them without hesitation, putting in his time and care to make sure the final piece came out beautifully. We left with two gorgeous, personalised rings (engraved inside too!), and memories we’ll always treasure. We can’t recommend this experience enough, it felt authentic, peaceful, and full of heart. We’d absolutely love to do it again next time we’re in Bali. Thank you both so much!

We really enjoyed our time here. The family are lovely! They made a lot of time and made sure that we knew what we were doing and were very attentive. We also made a couple of mistakes which they were happy to correct for us! We would definitely come again and highly recommend this unique experience :)

My great niece wanted to make a ring so I came along for the ride - so pleased I did. The class was a delight - a small family business - well set up and organised - lots of rings to choose from - the process was fun and the results great. We had a welcome snack and water waiting for us. We needed help but this was given with a smile and laugh. It was good value and a great experience. Happy Customer.

Such a great experience! I went a year ago and they’ve up levelled. The same welcoming hospitality and beautiful energy. Would highly recommend. We went as a group of three and they gave us lots of attention, guided us through the process and helped when needed, which was quite a bit.. We all created unique pieces too so got to learn a lot! By far the best and most authentic class we took in Bali. Now only was the jewelry amazing but our teacher and his wife made the experience so much fun! By the end we felt like we made new friends. Just go now, it’s next to the rice paddies and is a great way to end the day.

This is my first jewelry class experience, and it was amazing. The husband and wife that runs the business are so nice and welcoming. The husband has over ten years of experience. I designed my own ring, he walked me through each step and help me turn my design into a piece that I love so so much! I would definitely do this again the next time I’m in Bali!

The class is small and our teachers were welcoming, kind and patient in teaching us. They were encouraging and both very good silver smiths. I would do this again! Great time!

The workshop was amazing!!! It was given by a lovely family, who were really patient and friendly. You buy 6gr of silver and you can chose from examples or design you own ring/bracelet. I got to make 2 rings out of it, so it is enough. They really take their time with you, are kind and explain every thing very well. The quality of the rings are gorgeous and Im so happy with them. I had a wonderful time making my new silver ring. what a great way to learn something new, have a memorable experience and then relive the experience every time I look at my ring! I got lost at they were extremely accommodating and kind despite being half hour late!! I had a design in mind, with inspiration pictures on my phone, and the end result is better than I expected! Overall great way to spend the morning and do something you would try at home!

Simply wonderful experience. Please choose this place with a beautiful, skilled young Balinese couple running their own business. They took time to help me learn, showed me the skills and recovered my mistakes and helped me make a stunning bangle I will treasure for ever. Then they sent me a few photos and videos. An additional treat is their friendly, curious young daughter. I also bought a few finished pieces. I could not have asked for more and feel blessed to have been at Ondox.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience and I cannot recommend it enough. The family that runs this class is so kind and they really took their time to make sure that we had a great finished product. This was hands down one of my favorite experiences in Bali. There are a lot of places where you can make silver jewelry in Ubud but I really appreciated being able to get out of Ubud for a little bit and the class is located across from the rice terraces. You’re supporting a lovely family when you do this class and you get a unique souvenir.

Truly amazing experience and a great way to make an everlasting memory. The workshop is located right next to the rice fields which is convenient to make the most out of your day. In true balinese fashion, the couple hosting it are lovely and have a very calm and friendly attitude. Don't hesitate if you have your dream ring in mind, you can make it happen.

One of the best things we did whilst in Bali! This class was fantastic. The whole family were so welcoming, patient and friendly. They were delighted to show us their craft and taught us how to carry out each step. From the 6g of silver both of us were able to make 2 small rings which are a perfect memory of our trip to Bali! I couldn’t recommend this class more highly, and would say it represents better value than some of the classes in the centre of Ubud. We took a 20 min Grab to the shop, which is just a few minutes from Creyta/the rice terraces.

We had such a lovely time at our silver making class! We went for the last slot of the day so we could grab dinner after and it was a lovely experience. We really enjoyed talking through each stage and understanding the process. My son ran of to play with their young daughter who was the same age and Komang and his wife didn’t seem to mind at all. It’s a real family run business and it was lovely. For the time we were there, the experience was well worth it. We made a bracelet, a pendant for a necklace and a ring with the silver we had! :)

Really kind and helped me to get away with two pieces of jewelleriy even if I got there late as I had trouble to get there due to transportation issue

This was one of my favourite activities in Ubud - it’s a truly family run business and they were both professional, skilled and so kind. We both made a second ring with leftover silver and added a bit extra at a very small cost, and got to design as well as hand make our rings. We got to take part in every step of the process from melting to flattening, hammering and filing. I would 100% recommend this class!

The jewelry making class was outstanding. The couple that run the class are great to work with and so helpful. The rings we made look like they came out of a high end jewelry shop. I couldn’t recommend them any more strongly. Go to this class! As a side note; the class is right across the street from the Rice Terraces. So after the clas, we were able to walk there.

The whole experience was so easy and informative. The instructors were so genuine and friendly making the whole process so comfortable and inviting. Considering we made two rings and had something to do for over an hour it was such a good price and an amazing experience! In my 4 month trip I've done several silver workshops in different countries, and I can confidently say that this is the best one I've done!! Komang and his wife are so patient and really take the time to make your vision come to life. I had a bit of a specific request and wanted to use my own shell for a pendant and it was absolutely no problem. It turned out even better than I had imagined! With the leftover silver they even let me make another ring without extra cost. The family is so sweet and I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone!
