For our last day in Bali we chose to do the Early Sunrise trek up Mount Batur Volcano. The sunrise was beautiful, what a view! it was definitely worth it after the steep climb we had to get there, the breakfast was also greatly appreciated at the top. After the trek we went White Water Rafting, the guide was hilarious, made us feel such at ease and made us laugh throughout. After the Rafting we were provided with lovely food and the opportunity to buy photos / video of our actovity. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this trip.

We had the best time ever. Yanika was the best driver and guide we could ever have asked for. The guide we had up the mountain was amazing too. We ran up the mountain hill. Got a warm drink and breakfast with an amazing view. The rafting was cool and exciting. 👍🏻
Its a scam !!! I paid for an activity that does not exist , and after losing a day of my vacation ... they offer to reimburse me 40 usd when I paid 188 usd
Can’t say enough good things about this experience! If you’re looking for a workout/adrenaline filled day, book now! Our driver Gede was fantastic and our trek guide Wayan was awesome. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing day from start to finish. Our driver ADI was great! On time, very friendly and accomodating and just an overall genuine guy. Long day out but worth the trip
We had such a wonderful time trekking up Mount Batur. Our driver Yanik brilliant from the start to the finish. She was super friendly, really accommodating, interested in conversation and gave us lots of tips. On the way home Yanik brought us to a coffee plantation where we got to explore a range of coffee and teas for free. It was such a lovely experience. Thanks to our tour gide for taking us up the mountain and taking some class photos. One to to remember 🤘
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of this tour. Our tour guide Janik was wonderful, so friendly, social and was truely interested to have a conversation. We cannot thank our volcano guide enough for capturing the most magical pictures, the climb was definitely worth it. We had a brilliant time rafting and visiting the coffee plantation. If you are thinking of booking, definitely do, it was so memorable and the day went so smoothly. Definitely get yourself a massage after though :)
Dede was an excellent driver. He was punctual, friendly and easy to talk to… sharing his knowledge and answering any questions as we drove around. Man it our trekking guide was fantastic. It was lovely to have a private guide for the trek. We were able to set the pace, stop at the various view points as we wished and have local knowledge to chat with. He was great at pointing out different landmarks, plants, and cool photo opportunities. After, we enjoyed the coffee, tea and chocolate farm before carrying on to rafting. Rafting was a blast and for adventure lovers, I strongly recommend taking a front seat! We are so thankful for the friendship and knowledge the guides all shared and would definitely do this tour again! It allowed us to have an stress-free action-packed day where we got to make the most of our time in Bali and enjoy the activities!
What an amazing experience! Dede was our driver and tour guide and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and gave us excellent recommendations for our first trip to Bali. Highly recommend Dede as a tour guide! Best experience of my life climbing mount batur and doing water rafting. Dede was on time, very helpful and great company.
My boyfriend and I are from Australia had a fantastic time with our amazing guide Dede and our driver Manut! They were very kind, reliable and helped us learn about Balinese culture whilst going to visit Mount Batur and white water rafting. I would highly recommend this trip when visiting Bali.
Amazing day climbing Mount Batur and rafting! Massive thanks to our driver Dede - he was incredible!
Had a great day with Adi right on time before heading up to the volcano! Be ready for a challenge if you don’t train your cardio but you’ll be able to get through it. Then went to coffee and rafting before heading back. Everything was perfect!
The day started early, waking up for a 2:30am pickup from our resort in Ubud. My partner and I had a private driver (named Dede) who helped wake us up by sharing stories of his life and was very engaging throughout the day. He is a young, well educated man who shows true passion for what Bali has to offer. Next we met up with our guide for the hike (named Gede). He is a young and very friendly guy who is close friends with Dede. The hike took under 1.5 hours on the way up. Gede organised breakfast with hot tea at the top while we waited for the sunrise. We were met with thick clouds for the sunrise. However, just before we started our descent, the clouse dispersed and we had spectacular views of Mt Agung and the surrounding scenery. We hiked down (about 1 hour) and met up with our driver who was excited to hear about our trek. We stopped by a coffee plantation on the way to rafting. Rafting was an amazing experience. For 2 hours, I was amazed by the natural scenery. We passed by monkeys hanging in the trees, waterfalls and carvings. The day was full of activity and natural wonders. However, the true highlight was the interactions we had with the driver and the guide. I would highly recommend doing this tour, and seeking out both as they truely made our day incredible.
EVERYTHING! The guides, Wayan Dedei and Madei Manhut were absolutely incredible. The trek wouldn’t have been possible without Manhut’s help- big bonus is that he clicks the best photos ever! Dedei makes amazing conversation and was extremely sweet throughout the activities, which included a sunrise trek to Mt Batur, a visit to a nearby coffee plantation and finally the White Water Rafting. Special shout-out to Gede from the rafting company.
It was completely worth waking up early in the morning! We did the Mount Batur trek with Madei Manhut and he helped us all along and clicked some amazing pictures! Our driver for the day was Dede who shared so much about Balinese culture and life that it made the experience so much more enjoyable! Would highly recommend Dede and Madei both!
The driver and tour guide were very knowledgeable and spoke very good English, which made the tour very enjoyable as they could explain all the different areas that we were in and answer all of our questions! The view at the top was amazing and is a beautiful way to see the sunrise in Bali! 5*
We were travelling as a couple. We booked the sunrise hike followed by white water rafting. What a day! Highly recommend to go for both in a day. It’s such a great way to meet people, explore Bali and challenge yourself. Our driver for the day, Edy was the best! Very professional, was at our hotel early for the pick up to sunrise hike. Waited for us at each destination. Was trustworthy in looking after our belongings in the car. Always encouraged us to take our time and he’d be there waiting for us. Hike can be challenging at times, but certainly achievable for 90% of people. White water rafting is a light hearted, easy going course through a stunning river carved ravine. Time for swimming and showering under a waterfall and the choppy bits for those wanting a thrill. All work as expected and went as planned.
We had a very nice day, and our driver was so good, we learned a lot about Bali’s history and traditions in between stops, very interesting 🤩 One thing for the hike do remember really warm clothes for when you come to the top, we were fast climbers, so we had to sit for an hour, it was very windy and very cold🥶 but in the end the breathtaking view made it all worth it
Had a great time on this tour and is definitely worth doing when in Bali. I recommend not having a big night beforehand as the trek itself is actually quite demanding even for those with moderate-high fitness levels. Firstly we were picked up at our hotel by our lovely driver Edy at 1.20am. The journey from our hotel in Legian was about 2 hours so it’s a good time to catch a few Zs. The winding roads towards the summit can be a bit tough on the stomach so if anyone has travel sickness it’s worthwhile bringing some tablets or ginger ale. Once we got to the summit we were then introduced to our trek guide Made who honestly was so phenomenal. The trek on the way up is hard as the incline is steep. Even moreso if there has been rain in the area as the soft dirt track gives way a little as you step on it. Be sure to take plenty of breaks. At the peak the view was amazing. Watching the sunrise incredible all with the lava and smoke coming out from the terrain. I can’t recommend our driver Edy or our trek guide Made any more. They were both great!
Driver review - Our driver Eddy was very helpful and down to earth guy. He made everything so smooth. Took us to coffee and tra tasting. It was fantastic. Rafting- If you come to Bali and don’t do rafting , it is better don’t come to Bali. Most unique rafting .Bring your phone in some water resistant bag. You r gonna love the experience. Saw many waterfall while rafting. Also wear Slippers for rafting and no shoes. It is a long walk down the stairs for rafting and slippery too. Best Best Best part of my trip. I even plan to do it again. DONT MISS IT Mt Batur- Very unique experience to do hiking on volcano. Had to get up by 1 and Eddy picked up at 2. It took us around 2.5 hours to hike upward 2 to hike downward. Bring sports shoes as many slopes are very slippery. Also bring band aid in case you injur yourself or any shoe bite. Also bring water bottle as it is very expensive on top of hill. Our guide Jaro was very helpful and funny and helped a lot in hiking.
Had a great day with Dede our driver/guide. Super knowledgable, friendly, generous and funny. The same also goes for Made our trek guide, very friendly, funny and super helpful on the trek. We did the batur sunrise, followed by rafting with Graha adventure rafting (also recommended). Thought it might be too big a day to do both, but was a perfect combination for our group of moderate fitness. The trek was low-moderately challenging, but short and very rewarding. Sunrise was beautiful. Higly recommend both trekking and rafting, but especially through this company, great group of guys. Awesome day out! Organise through whatsapp if you can ;)
The sunset at Mount Batur was very beautiful. The way up was not so easy but worth it. The coffee tasting was very interesting, we also bought some tea. The water rafitng was so much fun. We had great tour guides at each station and a very kind driver
The trip was properly planned and the guide went out of the way to ensure our comfort and even more! Ravy (the driver for the trip) was very welcoming and made having a conversation so much easy in a foreign area. I would highly recommend him, along with the package as it was overall very rewarding!
This tour was amazing. The volcano hike was great and the view was beautiful. Would highly recommend.
Loved this excursion. Beautiful views and the rafting was SUPER fun. Things to note: Wear layers on the hike. It starts off and ends up cold and you are very warm while hiking. Layers are key. We are a family of 6 in excellent shape including two current collegiate athletes, and we were sore the next day. The hike is uneven, takes between 1 1/2 and 2 hours each way and you climb some serious elevation. The rafting also involves 400-500 steps down and back up. Your legs will feel it but it is all definitely worth it. The breakfast is extremely modest so don't expect too much. We had our driver take us to food in between activities. Enjoy!
My husband and I booked this tour last minute and could not be happier! Ngurah, our driver guide, showed up on time and was amazing. He was a great driver and a pleasure to spend so much of our day with, and even brought us water bottles. Our hiking guide, Manku, was also amazing and even made us Coffee and banana sandwiches for the sunrise! He even offered to take many pictures of us with the sunrise (which were great pics!) Just be careful because after the sun came up monkeys tried to steal our food! After the hike Ngurah drove us to a coffee plantation where we got to taste all different teas and coffees for free, and we opted to try the Luwak coffee as well. The last part of the tour was spent rafting which was a blast. I don’t remember our rafting guides name but he was awesome as well and made it so much fun. I am a big skeptic when it comes to booking tours online because I’ve had a few let-downs, but this tour was hands down 100% worth it!!!
Our guide for the hike itself was amazing, our driver Asta was even better. The rafting itself was a beautiful view but could probably have done without after hiking so early in the morning.. overall amazing experience. Thanks!
We had a great day! The attractions were wonderful and our transfers could not have better. We were picked up on time, were transfered fast between our locations and the driver Eka was always ready when we wanted to go to the next stop.
This was a great day overall, and would highly recommend. I was picked up by my friendly driver, Ravi, at 1:30 am, and we drove two hours to Mt. Batur. My guide for the hike was really sweet and the summit was beautiful. We stopped at a small coffee-tasting place (for delicious coffee) and then headed to the rafting excursion in Ubud, which was quite fun! Communication was easy and clear, and everything was on time. Thank you!
Nice view on thé volcano, nice guides too, very personable. Coffee shop was cool and interesting, and rafting in the jungle river was breathe-taking. Thank you
This tour was absolutely amazing! Our driver Dede was so nice and personable and made sure we were happy the whole time. It was really nice to have a private driver so your day goes more at your pace instead of feeling the need to keep up with others. I was a little sore from hiking the day before so the volcano hike was pretty rough on my knees but our guide mangku was great allowing us to stop as frequently as I needed to while still keeping an eye on the time so we’d make it to the top by sunrise. The view up there was insanely beautiful. And we definitely appreciated the coffee when we got to the top. And there were a few dogs up there which is always a bonus. After, the coffee tour was nice because we had some time to rest in between. The views were gorgeous and the people were very nice. We got to sample all the coffees and teas (we didn’t try the Luwak coffee but we saw the little furry creatures). You can purchase Luwak coffee if you want to try it or coffees or teas to take home with you which we did. White water rafting was amazing and so much fun. The stairs down and the stairs to get back up were rough on my knees by this point so I would definitely recommend being rested and fresh before going on this tour package. But so worth it. There were monkeys and a waterfall and stone carvings. Our guide Maddi made us feel very safe and was having fun with us which was just awesome. Truly an incredible experience on its own and our guides and Dede made it even better. What an incredible day. I would recommend it to everyone. When in Bali!
This trip is definitely worth every minute. We got our own private driver Dede who was amazing. He was always making sure we were happy and comfortable. Playing music if we wanted, saying we can sleep on the drive, and being super cheerful the whole time. He even got to come on the rafting trip with us since we didn’t have too many people. Waking up that early definitely hurts, but is worth it. On the hike, mangku let us go as quick or slow as we wanted. It was a little more difficult than we expected but we made it slowly but surely. Everyone kept saying it was going to be cold, but we would have been fine with a light long sleeve for the top and just regular hiking clothes. The view is amazing and learning some of the things about the volcano was neat. At the plantation we got a quick tour where they explain the different types of coffee and the roasting processes. We got to see a lewak. There are cute spots to take photos with a view and we got tasters of all of the coffee and teas. The white water rafting is beautiful. There were monkeys and butterflies and a Komodo dragon. To get to the river there is a trek down a lot of stairs which was rough after the morning trek even though we rested between. The water felt great after that. Maddi, our rafting guide made sure we were safe, pulled the raft up when we got stuck, and had a lot of fun with us by pretending there were crocodiles. At the end there was another trek up stairs. Still beautiful. Our day was amazing and I’m really glad we went. The only advice I’d have is to make sure you are rested and ready for all of the treks.
Would definitely recommend this tour package. Our driver asta was both friendly and reliable and was ready waiting for us in the lobby in the morning. Both the hiking guide Budi and the rafting guide were amazing. Their knowledge of their activities and engagement was second to none and made the day all the better. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We started our day at 1:30 am from Seminyak hotel and Komung was right on time for the same. After a 2 hour smooth drive reached Mt Batur base where we met Susy our guide who was a pro at it, trekked about 90 mins and relaxed on the top with a picturesque view of the sun rise with breakfast (Top marks for Susy for the same). Returned to base an visited coffee plantations and had Luwak Coffee for the first time. Proceeded to White water rafting which was executed tremendously well. As I didn't have IDR with me Mr. Komang (our driver) helped and requested me to execute after I get a good rate at Seminyak for conversion. The cherry on the cake was Komang and us singing Bollywood numbers and sharing memories. Special accolades to Komang for the entire trip . A grade , highly recommended.
Our really kind drivers (Oka and Susi) picked us up in time by our hotel. Their English is really good so we could have a nice converstaion with them. They droped us off at the start point for the mountain where our also really kind guide was waiting for is there. We walked in 2 hours to the top in the dark. It was extremely cloudy so we weren't able to see the sunrise which was really disapointing we just had bad luck. But the walk down was really nice since we weren't able to see much in the dark the walk down was still a new landscape and we were able to see a beatifull view. We got down the mountain in time to visit the plantage were we tasted different kinds of coffee and tea with a beatifull view. After a short time we continued to the start point for the rafting. The rafting itself was nice on both sides you could see the beatifull woods and the river was not so extreem wich was relaxing. At the end point we could take a shower and change our clothes. When we were done eating our kind drivers brought us back to our hotel. Overall a really nice well organized day, we never had to wait long and the drivers were always waiting for us on the location! It was just unfortionate it was so cloudy.
Great day! Tiring but completely worth it. Our driver Dede came before time and drove us safely. Our trekking guide Sushi was really helpful and well aware of the route and made the difficult trek fun. Sunrise was breathtaking!!! Water rafting was full of beautiful views. Lunch was one of the best local food I had in Bali. Must do!!!
Our driver WAYAN was excellent. He was at the hotel to pick us up early and looked after us for the duration of the trip! He was very friendly and even offered to take us to stops on the way back if we wanted! The trip itself is very tiring! It’s about a 2 and half hour trek up the volcano which is pretty steep uphil! When you get to the top it’s freezing so make sure you have layers! The tiring trek is well worth it as the views were amazing! Our guide Nyoman was amazing and helped us all the way! Once we completed the trek we were met at the bottom by WAYAN who took us to the rafting. The rafting was great fun but this was also a small trek to the river and back up! The guide made it fun and enjoyable! Overall a great day but very tiring doing both in one morning!

Great trek up the mountain . Our guide was fantastic and glad we had him from beginning to end!

Our driver Ovi picked up us on sharp 1.30 am from our hotel. He clearly briefed us about the trip and he answered all the questions without any hesitation. Our Trekking guide Luh Putu was very helpful and ensured that trekking was fun and adventurous. After Trekking, we went for rafting and it was a memorable one since it was first time for us 😊. We were happy with the trip and would recommend our friends 😊👍.
We travelled from kuta with our driver Eka who picked us up on time (very early 1.30am start) He explained what to expect for the morning ahead and answered any questions we had. Our hike guide Bobby then took over and we set off to the top of Mt Batur. The hike was pretty steep and dark on the way up but we kept a good pace and made it to the top for some breakfast before sunrise. This was well worth the trip. On the way back we also stopped at one of the coffee plantations which was great. A great tour if you are happy leaving so early.
This activity was indeed a challenge to say the least. There were times that I wanted to quit but pushed on through which left me with great memories and a great sense of accomplishment. The trip started with a 1:30 pick up with our driver, Ngurah (who was amazing!). He came early and was quite patient with us! Ngurah was very personable and an excellent match to us as we had many questions which he answered gladly. We fell asleep in the car and felt safe throughout the trip. He waited for us to finish the trek and brought us to our next destination which was the rafting and kept our stuff secure in the car as we were slightly worried about leaving our things in the lockers that were available.Even after our full day of activities, Ngurah offered to show us a bit of Ubud and under any normal circumstances we would have taken him up on the offer were we not tired. Ngurah was a top rated host and driver! The climb up Mt. Butar in the middle of the night was definately one of the hardest treks I've ever accomplished. The guide we had was amazing and really patient with us and quite encouraging. The sunrise was amazing and really a must see. I would not recommend the rafting as it was somewhat dangerous even more so then trekking in the dark. There were times that we were quite worrisome as the rafting guide we had pulled dangerous 'tricks' for fun that would have flung one of our members our of the raft had not another member held on to their life jacket. Overall, it was a good experience.

This tour was amazing! But Tiring! The hike was intense and our guide set quite the pace, but got to rest at the top with breakfast and gorgeous view (make sure to pack warm clothes-was freezing in the dark pre-sunrise), coffee plantation was a highlight and so was the rafting! Highly recommend!

If you are looking for some adventurous fun in Bali, definitely go for this activity. While the trek is a bit hard for novices like us, it is totally worth it. The guide who took us around the trek and the driver (Komang) were incredibly polite and helpful throughout the day. We were a bit scared before rafting, but Komang made sure we had nothing to worry about. Incredible experience overall. Don’t miss out on the opportunity.

Nice tour! Somewhat tougher hike than expected. Could be slippery if the weather is bad. The rafting was well above expectation.

At first I was a bit skeptical due to the time of pick-up and amount of time spent driving, but it was definitely well worth it. Our driver, Wayan Ari, was early and waiting for us by the time we came out of our room. He was very accommodating and had a comfortable car for us to catch a little sleep on the two hour drive to Mt. Batur. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted by the guide that would take us up. The hike up was approximately two hours and tiring, but we were able to stop for breaks as needed and enjoy small talk with our guide. When we finally reached the top, our guide laid out a blanket for us to sit on and wasted no time getting us our breakfast and drinks. The sunrise was next to Mt Agung was absolutely gorgeous. We were even lucky enough to have some interaction with a group of monkeys at the top!! The trek down was much easier and quicker. From there, we went to a coffee plantation and had some of the best coffee and tea we ever tasted. Lastly, we were off to go rafting. Wayan Ari inquired about our events so far and shared some of his experiences. It was very cool, considering he grew up near Mt Batur. When we reached the water rafting place, we changed and got our gear to head down to the river. Rafting through the jungle for two hours was such an amazing experience and very scenic, not to mention the guide was very funny. To wrap up the day, we had a small buffet waiting for us at the start. Although the day was long and packed, it was easily the most fun we have had so far.

Early morning, long trek, cold and I couldn’t breathe. Every bit of it was worth it! The driver was on time, everyone was so friendly and I had a once in a lifetime experience for my birthday. The rafting was also an amazing experience. The guides were funny and I absolutely had a blast!

This was the best part of my trip to Bali. I booked this trip wondering if the early morning and length would be too much. When I woke up my husband at 1am he wasn't feeling well and wanted to cancel and it ended up being the best part of his trip. The guides and drivers were awesome and let us walk slowly since he wasn't feeling well. The sunrise was gorgeous and we got to feel the steam from the volcano and see monkeys who even jumped on our shoulders. Then we went to the coffee plantation which was beautiful and we had the best time touring and tasting and had a yummy Balinease pancake. Our favorite part was the white water rafting. 3 hours seemed long and then we had so much fun it was closer to 4 hours. The most amazing place with lush green trees and forest. The guides were so nice and helpful and the rapids were fun not scary. We had such a great time!

Increíble experiencia y un excelente guía! Recomiendo al 100%. La subida al monte batur nos dejo boquiabiertas y terminar con un rafting entre un paisaje hermoso fue el final que necesitamos
An ordeal that requires considerable physical effort. But at sunrise, with the beauty of the moment, fatigue gives way to a wonder that was definitely worth the visit.
From minute 1 everything perfect. Asta and Doni, two local guides picked us up at the hotel on time. Two friendly and very attentive young people who explained the itinerary to follow. In the parking lot before we started the ascent to the Batur, we met the guide Manguk. A very very attentive boy, very nice and transmitting a super good energy. He helped us climb the hard stretches, stopped every little while I saw I was left behind, and when we reached the top, he looked for a quiet place to see the sunrise. He prepared us the breakfast that we thanked very much because we recovered strength. When it was already daylight, we toured part of the volcano and it showed us how steam still comes out of some areas. I explain the history and details about life in this area. We go downstairs super happy trekking. We said goodbye to Manguk. We will not forget this guide!! And we especially recommend it for this excursion. We went back to the car with Asta and Doni, super good. When we asked them to stop and take some pictures, always very predisposed. We reached the point to do the rafting, a very fun experience. The truth is that it was very worth it. We loved it. Thank you very much to the guides. They do a great job and always give their best smile. Here are some pictures that speak for themselves.
