Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking Private Tour

Komant was the best tour guide I have ever met, guided us through a route to our difficulty level, offered different paths mid route to our interest, took really good photos of us and picked the best spot for the sunset. This has been the most beautiful trip of my life and this was the best tour to experience it with. Hands down anyone who comes to Bali, I highly recommend this specific tour. You won't forget it!!!

Jero did a fantastic job on taking us to mountain. He took us to Mount Batur, hot spring, and complimentary tour at the coffee plantation where we tried 12+ variety of coffee and tea. Suka was amazing with our sunrise trek to Mt Batur. He took amazing shots and is an absolutely experienced guide!

Great value for money! Though challenging at the start, the view is absolutely worth the trek. The guide and driver were very professional. Something to note is that the trek up is not easy. On the way down the mountain, it is much easier as it is smoother with less rocks but can be slippery.

The local guide, Jaro, was thoughtful and friendly throughout the trekking on Mount Batur, and consistently offered assistance and detailed instructions. The driver, Wika, was also kind and considerate, ensuring our comfort throughout the entire journey and making small schedule adjustments to enhance our Bali experience and keep it enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you for their patience and professionalism.

It was a super nice experience. It was very busy on top of the mountain, but our guide took time for us. It was a steep climb. Once upstairs we got breakfast and saw a beautiful sunrise. Then we waited for a while for a lot of people to leave. Have walked the mountain a little further and took some nice photos.

A really worth the place. The effort is definitely worth seeing. We had hesitated with the jeep but we are really happy to have made the effort to walk. The view is splendid! On the other hand, it's still a pretty steep climb. Luckily jeeps can't climb higher because it makes a lot of noise. It's a bit of a shame that there is so much noise with jeeps and motorcycles.

Very clear communication about pick up time. Our driver Sarda was perfectly on time. Very friendly guy and good driver. Our guide Luh was absolutely wonderful! Very kind and made sure everyone was okay during the trip. She helped my mom a lot with higher steps and made sure the pace was good for everyone. She took some amazing pictures of us as well. Breakfast at the summit was good. Loved the whole tour!

The day started out early but was well organised and run being picked up by Sukardiana, he was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and activity. The staff at the base camp were friendly and welcoming. We met our guide Wayan, he was very friendly, took the questions and ensured everyone was happy, he went through the brief and lead the hike through the morning to the summit. would recommend to all if interested in seeing Mt Batur.

The driver Guruna is friendly and pick up us on time. He double checked with me the address one day before, which is very nice. The tour guide during the hiking also friendly, he keeps notice us if we need break or not, when we go down he also helps to talk with our driver to remind driver to pick us. The view is amazing, we enjoy this tour much!!

Overall service was great. our guide was excellent. it is not a easy hike. Rocky and steep inclines. So you better be prepared for some workouts. We didn’t get to see the sunrise due to clouds but still we had fun. location:

We started off the day trekking with our tour guide Ketut. He was very friendly and always ready to help us during the more challenging part of the hike. Ketut was spontaneous and matched our silliness as he raced us down the slopes. This made our trekking experience a fun and memorable one. Our driver, Ediaan, was also very friendly and made our journey to and fro the hotel, mount batur, and river rafting location very comfortable. It allowed us to get some rest while we were in the car. Highly recommend!

We had Wayan as our guide and she was THE BEST! Incredibly kind and patient. I don‘t think I‘ve ever met someone who takes better photos and videos than her. Simply amazing the work she‘s doing! 10/10 recommend the trip and her as a guide.

The Mount Batur sunrise hike with Gede and Putu was absolutely unforgettable. Gede picked us up right on time, and Putu guided us expertly up the mountain in the dark. Watching the sunrise from the summit was magical. After the hike, soaking in the hot springs with a view of the lake was the perfect way to relax. We ended the day with a stop at a local coffee plantation, where we sampled unique Balinese coffee. A complete and well-organized adventure!

Firstly our driver Kadek was amazing, he picked us up right on time and was super accommodating. He drove smoothly to our destination. Afterwards he took us to the hot springs then to the coffee plantation. Highly recommend Kadek, he was great. Secondly our tour guide that walked up the mountain with us, Ardana. The host & his wife are very nice and helpful people! TIP for this hike: wear hiking boots! Bring a warm jacket and long pants! It’s very cold! The shortest hike is incredibly challenging! Experienced guests on motorbikes can take you up for IDR 350,000 (one way). The sunrise is magical

Absolutely stunning view at the top and 100% worth the effort. Andika, our driver, was fab, and we absolutely loved our guide Komang. She was incredible and so so helpful! The hike is quite intense but for those interested there are motorbikes to cover about 70 to 80% of the route, with you only having to do the very beginning and end parts where it isn't accessible unless you're on foot. If you're going to do this, which I highly recommend you do, make sure you are very well rested. You'll get picked up around 2am so make sure you have a very early night before your hike. You'll love it - the views, the people.

Our driver Arnawa was amazing, such a lovely kind, person with lots of knowledge of Bali and made the wake up easier with his lovely happy energy. Recommend the hike, it’s not too hard for those to hike & a nice achievement. The coffee tour after was also brilliant & a lovely finish to the trip! Thank you

Beautiful view of the sunrise and surroundings, I wasn't expecting to see the geothermal steam at the top so that was a special sunrise. Beware all of kintamani is covered in flies though

We had an amazing experience during our tour in Mount Batur, thanks to two incredible drivers! Rudika, who drove us to and from the hotel, was extremely friendly and welcoming. Gede, our Jeep driver, was equally wonderful! Very careful and skilled while driving up the mountain, always making sure we were safe and comfortable. He was also super attentive when it came to taking photos — he helped us capture the best moments and angles throughout the ride. It was such a memorable experience, and the kindness and professionalism of both truly made it special. Thank you!

We had a great experience with our jeep driver Jero for Mount Batur! From the first moment, he brought a super cheerful and enthusiastic energy. He made the ride not only comfortable, but also incredibly fun. Jero created a nice atmosphere, made jokes and knew exactly how to make the day special. We were lucky to have Ananda with us almost all day, who was very helpful in every way and provided a very comfortable and safe ride. Our driver Bakta was very professional in driving the 4x4 and took beautiful photos of us in every area and kept us informed. The facility at the meeting point was excellent. Make sure to dress warmly; we brought a blanket with us, but we still felt the cold. The only downside was that the vehicle was a bit old, but we didn’t encounter any issues

The guide who took us was very helpful! He explained the route (of course you need to ask more). There were children in the group and he also helped. Great!

Had a great morning on the Sunrise Jeep Tour. Our driver Muryana was very punctual and made sure we made our way safely and on time to the meeting point. Stop at coffee plantation was an added bonus which we enjoyed!

Pande the driver was on time in a large, comfortable car with AC and safely got us to and from all the spots. Nyoman our trek guide was also very good, caring, patient and ensured help was always there whenever needed The view from Mount Batur itself is spectacular, well worth the climb

Worth the early rise. Our guide Yuda was lovely and loved taking some amazing photos and videos for us at throughout the whole hike. Highly recommended

They offered direct pick up at hotel which is very convenient. Pick up timing at around 1.30am if you’re staying in seminyak. Driver was punctual and tried to make small chats with us when we wanted to catch more sleep, descend was much more challenging than the ascend, so please be careful. Overall a fun and challenging hike.

The most grilling trek to the top! You need to be fit to climb this majestic mountain. We started at 10 pm with our driver picking us up at the villa and dropping to the summit. We were served breakfast and tea and taken to another spot to meet our guide

The pick up and the ride with Ketut was great! Very friendly. And our guide Juice was also exceptional! He explained everything to us and always helped us when we had problems getting on. The coffee plantation was extraordinary, everything was delicious and everyone was super friendly. The girl who helped us there was very nice and funny, she said she was always joking because so much coffee had driven her crazy hahahahaha. I would repeat without hesitation!

We opted for Mt Agung trekking! The driver was very punctual, friendly and very accommodating. Our guide, Jede is very patient and friendly too. He’s pro in taking photos as well. Kudos to both of them :)

The driver and guide are great, especially the guide Komang, who has a small body but great energy. I like her very much:)

We spontaneously booked the tour the day before and were very satisfied. Our driver Purnadia was very punctual and really nice and you felt safe with him in the car the whole time. Our guide Gede was also very kind and welcomed us very warmly. Throughout the tour, he was very considerate and explained and in addition something about the area and the nature around the volcano. He also took excellent photos of us:)

This was an amazing experience. Kadek acted as the driver whilst we had a specific tour guide for Mount Agung called Putu…he was excellent! He guided us and helped us trek up the rocky path. It was a wonderful sight once at the top

Great experience, great value eventhough extremely hard. My driver Bagia was very helpful and accommodating, explaining the schedule and how everything would work and being ready tor me throughout the day trip. My trekking guide Juna was also very considerate making sure everyone was comfortable and looked after, and made the hike even more enjoyable.

A very good experience. We got unlucky and couldn’t see the sunrise but still worth the trek. The trek was harder than expected but the guides were very helpful and supportive.

Our driver Gana and our trekking guide Daya gave us a very memorable trip at Mt Agung. Gana proactively reached out to us the day before and was able to communicate very well with us via WhatsApp in English. He was punctual and patiently brought us to the various places in the tour. He is super responsive on WhatsApp and is always around when we need help! Daya is a very attentive guide who really helped me down the mountain patiently. My safety was her priority and I’m very glad they completed our Mt Agung experience!

Perfectly planned and executed by the team. Loved the whole hike. The guides were very friendly and motivating all the way. Their photo taking skills at the summit was also top notch.

What a unique, memorable and enjoyable experience. Communication with Kompiang was fast and efficient. Ketut our guide was WOW's OMG! Caring and attentive to our needs (stops if necessary-photo-video). He was jasling us all along the hike! He followed a quieter path and for the stop at the top of the mountain, he settled us in a less busy place. I highly recommend this experience.

Mangku arrived well in time to pick us up from my hotel and drive us to Mt. Batur. The sunrise views and breakfast on top of the mountain was great! Highly recommend!

If you like hiking, this is not to be missed. The view is amazing and you’ll get to see the volcano that is still emitting smoke. However the hike itself is not easy, with challenging climb towards the final ascend.

Thank you Juna for taking care of us. It is not easy climb especially it is in the rain while taking care of us. Thank you to the driver Putra that waited patiently and his comfortable ride.
