Mount Batur Sunrise Jeep From Ubud

Fantastic experience, sunset was amazing. Guide was brilliant took loads of photos and made great suggestions for great photos. Would definitely recommend. Our guide and transport were with Ageng and rena. Collected on time, confirmed on WhatsApp and nice and chatty, two really lovely people.

We booked the sun rise jeep experience , black lava and hot spring experience on Agoda. The booked was smooth and we got assigned a driver. Driver Ketut picked us up from our hotel at Seminyak at 2.15 AM and is about a 2 hour drive to foothills of Mount Batur. There we were greeted by the lovely jeep driver Rinty. She greeted us with a smile and then we started our off road journey up the middle of Mount Batur. On our day we were unlucky to not see the sun rise as it was cloudy and drizzling a little. Rinty took a lot of photos for us and we were also provided a light breakfast and coffee. We then drove to the black lava Fields where Rinty again took a lot of photos for us. She was very helpful and was of great company. We did not do the hot springs as it was drizzling . We headed back to the hotel and reached by around 11AM as there was a lot of traffic on the way back. Both Rinty and Ketut were of amazing company and were really helpful. 100% recommend them.

Komo is a really good driver and takes great picture. Clean car as well! He took great us to serene location. He is very helpful!!!

A very early morning well worth it to see the sunrise from Mount batur, see the black lava rocks, coffee plantation, and hot springs. Our guides Mk Agus and Jr Emon were great.

We loved this tour! It was a very unique experience. Hotel shuttle to and from Mount Batur with our driver Temu was great. He was very friendly and told us a lot about Bali. He took care of us at the Natural Hot Springs location and made sure we got our towels and lockers. Very sweet! Gede took us to the sunrise viewing spot. He took many amazing pictures and airdropped them to us to not compromise picture quality.

An amazing trip to Mount Batur by jeep. We left the hotel early in the morning with very friendly drivers. The two-hour journey to the foot of the mountain passed quickly in a pleasant atmosphere. Here we got into a jeep and the friendly and very talkative driver Yogi took us to the point where we waited for the sunrise. Yogi also took pictures of us several times with my phone at sunrise. The pictures were great. Yogi is not only a great driver, but a true photography artist. When we got to the sunrise, we went for a drive through the volcanic landscape. Here, too, Yogi took several extraordinary photos. Then we went to soak in the Hot spring. A very interesting experience after a cold sunrise. Finally, we visited a coffee plantation and tried Kopi Luwak - the most expensive coffee in the world. A truly unforgettable experience that I will not forget and recommend to everyone. Yoga and Gede were amazing tour guides. Gede was accommodating and happy to drive us so early in the morning. The Jeep ride with Yoga was incredible, the sunrise was beautiful and he was fun and took so many amazing photos for us so we had the vest memories to come home with. We met his family briefly and he told us about the lava eruption site and of his village. He made the experience that much better.

The tour was amazing. Our transfer drive Nata was so helpful and was very attentive making sure me and my friends had a good day. The driver for our jeep Agus was also amazing, he made sure we had the perfect view for the sunrise as is the best photographer in Bali! This trip was amazing! My friend and I purchased the Mt. Batur sunrise jeep tour. Our drivers Arjana, Yoga and Monku were extremely hospitable. Arjana met us at the hotel on time and went out of his way to fulfill our every request. Once we got to Mt Batur Yoga and Monku took over. Monku was our Jeep driver, he drove safely and even let us Bluetooth our own music in his Jeep during the rides. Once we got to the sunrise point Yoga (English fluent) took loads of photos of us. Yoga served us breakfast and coffee and told us relevant information regarding Mt Batur. After viewing the sunrise, Monku drove us to the black lava, where we took more photos and just enjoyed time with locals. On the way back they offered us to go to the hot springs but we hadn’t purchased that trip so we met up with our Arjana again and headed for coffee(part of the tour). Overall I would recommend this trip to anyone seeking a fun trip! Just note, you’ll have to pay to use the bathroom once you’re on the mountain. Thank you Arjana, Yoga and Monku for an unforgettable ride!

What a Great day. Sunrise with breakfast, hot springs and coffee farm! Everything was amazing . Next time we will do the hiking!

We booked it through bookkng.com, but it turned out tripadvisor has the same partbers, we shared the tour with two young British men, a group of 4. The driver was on time at 2:30am picking us up in front of our hotel and helpful, everything was smooth, and we met up with our guide who is probably the best photographer there. He is excited meeting us at 4am without sleep and continue being accomodating. The hike was about 1.5 hours, it could be hard if you are not an active person, but there are 4 resting stops along the way. The reward was great once you are up. Make sure to dress warm, even it is only 1717 meters above sea level, it is very windy up and gets cold waiting for the Sun to come out. Coming down is about 1 hour and we were greeted by our driver again, we added hotspring (1.5 hours) and a tour at a private coffee planatation. All is good and we are very pleased with the choice, we were returned to Ubud hotel by 1pm. It cost 49USD per person for the trip. Definitely recommend it

An unbelievable experience totally worth the early hike. Our guide Yus was amazing and looked after us in every way possible, making a tasty breakfast and helping us up the mountain. It is very steep so wear appropriate and warm clothing! Definitely go to the Batur hot spring after it was a lover way to relax. Thank you so much again Yus for making it so amazing!!

The sunrise is incredible and the hot springs are a must!! Our driver Nata was great, friendly and safe. I would take a blanket/towel as it is freezing!! The breakfast could also be improved as we had a banana sandwich, boiled egg and chocolate bar (maybe croissants or fruit instead that is easy to prepare beforehand?). However all the drivers and hosts couldn't do enough for you and it was a great experience overall!

Very nice and attentative guide. Good driver too. Nice scenery and fun hike 1 hour to 90 minutes up and down again. View depends on weather. Can be as cold as only 10 degrees and windy on the peak so better bring warm clothes. The hot springs at the lake are relaxing and the scenery is beautiful.

This Jeep experience was amazing! Service was above and beyond. Our driver helped us take our pictures and served us breakfast and tea/coffee. Everything was delicious and we were able to take our time enthralled views. Book this experience, you will not regret it!

We were picked up from the hotel at 4:00 a.m. by our guide Gede. He was really very friendly and helpful. Then we drove to the jeep station, where we drove up the mountain in a jeep at sunrise. We were lucky and there weren't too many clouds, so we could enjoy the sunrise. Our guide on the jeep tour took beautiful pictures and videos of us. Then we went to the volcanic fields and then to the hot springs, where you could relax in the nice warm water.The team responded to our wishes and made a stopover after we asked him. The tour itself can only be recommended.

Book this tour if you dont want to hike a volcano but still want to epxerience sunrise in Mount Batur!!! This is was a best things that i ever done during my stay in Ubud. We book this tour a day before, then our driver Gede pick us up from our villa in Ubut 04:00am. He drove really comportable so thats why we fall a sleep in the car till we meet Made our jeeps driver. He then drive us to sunrise spot about 30 minutes to get there! The sunrise was amazing with tea and simple breakfast served. After the jeep then Gede drive us to Hot Spring which is really nice with hot water and amazing view.

Nous avons choisi cette option parce qu'on ne souhaitait pas marcher longtemps pour arriver en haut et c'était chouette :) 😀 c'est toujours sympa une expérience de 4x4 ! Par contre prévoir de bien s'habiller chaudement et/ ou d'avoir une couverture ! Et super chauffeur 😀 Seule petite déception, pas possible de Combiner 4x4 et finir par monter à pieds au sommet et Beaucoup de 4x4 au même endroit, on est loin d'être seuls !

To start, I want to thank Aji, our driver and Yoga, driver of the Jeep who is also a professional photographer. Aji contacted us the day before to introduce himself, which to me is important. Very punctual, go 4 hours in front of the hotel to drive us to Yoga for the departure by Jeep. We left towards the volcano for the sunrise, an unforgettable moment with a breathtaking spot. To capture the moment, Yoga took a picture of us (which are just too beautiful), he asked us to take poses and frankly seeing all the photos and videos in our phones, I start taking the pose again when he wants. At little care with us, he brought us coffee and breakfast which was great. Then we went to see the black lava, the first time we saw it. And now towards the hot springs, by the lake, majestic view and incredible benefits. Yoga let us enjoy the moment and Aji was taking over for the rest of the trip. Yoga always has a smile and in addition he listens to music from my home, what more to say if not thank you for all we will remember for a very long time this smile and this kindness. Aji led us to a coffee and spice plantation where we could enjoy tea and coffee that blew us away with tastes. And back to the hotel to finish this magnificent moment. Those are very good drivers and they are always attentive to what you are doing well. Day etched forever in our memories, thank you again for all it was just perfect. Max and Camille
