We will pick you up and accompany you throughout the tour with an air-conditioned vehicle between 01:00 AM and 02:00 AM. Please make sure you are ready on time, as we need to catch the sunrise and arrive at our basecamp by 03:00 AM. You will reach the top of Mount Batur around 06:00 AM.

Exhilarating early morning hike for the family. Excellent guides and driving accommodations. Motor bikes on the trail were somewhat dangerous for hikers.
We enjoyed our trek, our driver @yogik was excellent from start to finish, nothing was a problem The views were beautiful at the top, was abit chilly so recommend taking a jacket. Our driver took us to a coffee plantation on way home which we loved too.
Tough but rewarding experience! Has got to be one of my favourite hikes so far. I loved how challenging it was and being able to go up with friends + making new hiking buddies along the way has the made the experience so much better. Views from the top were out of this world, defs recomend/10. Our driver Nova was also amazing ensuring we were hydrated and comfortable throughout our entire trip!
Pickup at our Hotel was ar 2.30 AM. After an hour ride we reached the starting point of our trek, where we also met with our tourguide Wayan. We had a guide for ourselves, so we were able to choose our own trekkingspeed. After almost 1.5h, we reached the top, where we had a simple breakfast. Weather and the sunrise were stunning. Make sure to bring warm clothes as it gets pretty cold on top. Blankets to rent are available for 50k. All in all a very nice experience. Thank you Soma for organizing this trip for us!

Left hotel at 1.00 am and felt very comfortable during 2/5 hours on the road drove by Nyoman. He was a great one and polite guy. He bring us to enjoy a cup of tea before we start. Climb at 4.00 am by walking smoothly follow the trekking path. It’s tired but worth to visit for the magic sunrise views from the top. Then followed by soaking in warm water. What’s a beautiful day. Recommended trip!
The view is absolutely beautiful from the top of the mountain. Although, I was disappointed that I could not reach the top of the summit due to time constraints. I was told that I was being picked up around 1:00am from the Seminyak area, but my pick up was closer to 2:00am. By the time we got to the coffee place for a quick coffee, we had maybe 10 minutes to try to drink the tea and coffee before being transported to the start site. The start site seemed disorganized and we seems to just be standing around for several minutes before meeting our guide and getting food. The path up is narrow so it is hard to pass slower groups, and I was sad when I saw the sun starting to rise and I was only halfway to the first point. I was not able to get to the top of the summit because the guide said that the path would be too crowded with people also coming down the mountain. Overall, amazing view, but I wish the transport had picked me up earlier so the whole group could have made it to the top of the mountain in time for the sunrise. If you are also a more experienced hiker, a private tour may also be better since you could go up at your own pace.
Our group had an AMAZING TIME!!! Our driver Yogik picked us up at our hotel at 1 am and the drive from Kuta to the volcano was 2 hours, but Yogik made it very pleasant and easy. Our guide was Suryadi and was also awesome. He helped me up the steep trail and made sure my entire group was safe. He also took some awesome photos for us. Really recommend this trek, blew my expectations out of the water!! Beautiful views and an overall fun time!
This was our favourite activity! It is physical as you walk up in the atmosphere and it gets a bit harder to breathe. There are different routes, according to your physical condition and the guide we had, was just a darling: patient and caring.
Early start in the day. Stopped off for a chocolate pancake on the way and coffee was much needed with the time. Started the trek our guide Jata Yuna up the hill. Got there with plenty of time to spare and the best seats. During the Sunrise Jata took some great photos of my and my girl friend, (See one below) even lent his coat to my shivering accomplice really going above and beyond. After we descended the hill met back with our personal driver John. He was a great personal driver to have spoke great English and had great knowledge of the area. He offered to take us for food and to the natural Hot spring but we were a bit to tired after the walk and early rise. He did take us to the Coffee plantation where we sampled loads of coffee’s and Tea’s. Both John and Jata were brilliant. Highly recommend them. Thanks John see you soon.
Great company. We did both the sunrise hike and the blue lagoon snorkeling. If you go, ask them to send Soma to drive you - he is the best! He is the sweetest driver we have met, and is super knowledgeable about Bali and it’s culture. Throughout both activities he always went the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying and were comfortable, even when we were tired and not so talkative. The tours themselves were great, thanks to Wayan too during the hike who kept helping us out a lot during the tricky parts. Both activities were great value for money, and we are definitely planning on using Rukmana when we come back to Bali.
This tour was amazing. Our driver was on time. Breakfast consisted of banana pancakes and coffee or hot chocolate before the trek began, it was delicious. Our trek guide Mangu was excellent with us as we went up Mt Batur. He stopped as many times as needed and encouraged us to keep going. He was great. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. A must do in Bali.
We got picket at 1:30 am. Nyoman our driver was on time and very kind. Before the hike start he invited us to drink a tea. This is the one of the best thing we did. The hike was fun, our guide was excellent showed us the best place to see an amazing sunrise. It was so breathtaking with the views on the top. So happy with this trip! Super recommend.
Our driver (Komang Yadnya) picked us up at 1am in the morning and were there even 5 min before time. Got us home and back safely with totally friendly service! Will totally recommend him - thank you! :)

First time trekking. The guides are very nice and friendly. Although we’re amateurs trekkers and little bit slowing down the group, the guides helped us with catching up the group. Plus authentic Balinese coffee break!
Mr Bawa was really friendly and fun to talk to. Great service and was willing to drive us to taste some coffee after the hike as well :)
I vacation in Bali with friends. the activity that we did was climbing Mount Batur and rafting was very good, I was picked up at my place to stay by Mr. Nyoman. Mr. Nyoman is very kind and friendly. when I climbed I was guided by my mangku father, he was also very good. I recommend my friends if they want to go to Bali to visit the rukmana bali tour.

We got the Mt. Batur and Rafting package, with Nyoman (our driver), picking us up from our villa. Nyoman was very cheerful and promptly sent us to our location to begin the hike at 1am. When we reached there, we were assigned a guide Mangku, who was very caring and considerate, allowing us to rest for as long as we needed as we had some inexperienced hikers. He was very engaging and helped us take many beautiful pictures. Afterwards, Nyoman brought us to the rafting location which was fun as well, but it was quite hard to get to the location as there were many steps which was a problem for us because we had just finished climbing Mt. Batur. However, the activity was fun and the guides for the rafting were funny and knowledgeable of the terrain. Overall, I would highly recommend people to join the tour. Mt. Batur is challenging for inexperienced hikers, that is for sure, however it is very much doable and catching the sunrise is immensely rewarding. The driver Nyoman and Mangku were also exceptional and had great knowledge of the area, ensuring that we were able to meet all the timings such as reaching the location to begin the hike, reaching the peak in time to catch the sunrise, and also ensuring our well-being. 10/10 would recommend.

The driver was very nice and we were only 6 people which made collecting in ubud easier. Unfortunately there are far too many tourists to the sunrise so that the actually very nice place was no longer enjoyable. Our guide was very grumpy and led us down the same path again although there would have been a less full other descent. Overall not worthwhile for this price, preferring to go at a different time of day and forgo the sunrise.
