The Melukat Ceremony was a meaningful and memorable experience. My guide, Dwi, was incredibly helpful and informative. He also went above and beyond by taking lots of great photos and videos so I could stay present in the experience while still having beautiful memories to keep. I’m very grateful for his kindness and guidance, and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bali.
Beautiful temple, in a serene surrounding, not overly crowded, so enjoyed the personal experience! The guided prayer with the guide was nice. Felt peaceful & rejuvenated. Only negative: Guide did not accompany me to the temple, so missed out on the history & stories as other groups did.
What a peaceful & gratifying experience! Did a similar one in Tirta Empul last year, but it was too crowded & very touristy. You will not experience the calmness & and serenity the Sebatu temple offers. The guided prayer by the guide was helpful to understand the ceremony better. Highly recommended! Only negative : the guide didn’t follow through on the temple tour & as I noticed the other guides did. So I missed out on the explanation & history of the temple.

If you go early in the morning, you’ll have the place almost to yourself, we were alone, and it was absolutely amazing.
My partner and I attended the Melukat ceremony this week. The booking process was easy and the communication and organisation was great from the start. Upon arriving at the temple, we met our guide Made, who was very kind gentle and knowledgeable. We were guided through the ceremony with Made, and were also offered a meditation which we did. Overall, the experience was amazing. The ceremony was not rushed and provided us exactly what we came to achieve. Thanks so much to Made our guide. Highly Recommend!!!!!
Our driver took us here from Ubud, it is a beautiful, peaceful temple complex. It wasn't that busy when we arrived so could enjoy walking around the site easily. We did the water ceremony which was really special. Very reasonably priced entrance and ceremony. Nice big pond full of fish that you can feed. Good alternative to the busier temples that are overrun with tourists.
While on a 9 Day Retreat with Anastasia Williams at Soulshine, we ventured out to this temple on the morning of the 1st of January 2025. We had a priest (forgot his name) take us through the whole ceremony. I cried for a lot of it and felt major release. Would highly recommend this experience. However, it is important you get led by the right people as it will change the result of your experience. We drunk the water in the temple and none (out of 10 of us) got sick.
Highly recommend this ceremony and visit to this water temple. Very quiet and spiritual experience. No crowds. Guide was excellent and it was only him and my son and I so we got a private tour. Very easy and quick to book on what’s app. 🙏
The guide was absolutely fabulous Clean and safe car, everything was provided and the guide assisted with some of the ceremony. Even had me there by opening do we can beat the crowd. He was the best! Highly recommend.

Our tour guide, Rido showed us around the church, telling us a lot of interesting information. After that, we were able to feed the beautiful fishes of the temple, and we talked a lot with Rido. The purification ceremony followed. It was an amazing experience. We got a separate sarong for it. We prayed and bathed in the holy water of the temple. We are very grateful for this unique experience!
I had a very special time at this healing temple. The waters are truly magical. It was great to take part in the ritual and ceremony, in my opinion, the best way to visit this place. The waters shifted something inside of me. My guide Ridwan is such a beautiful soul who guided me through the steps so I was truly immersed in the experience. I would highly recommend. The experience was extraordinary. The guide explained and made us live all the stages of the ceremony which was perfect. It is a fantastic place, away from the crowds of some other temples. I wanted something intimate and sacred, and that's what I experienced.

Fast service! After booking you will immediately receive a whatsapp message with all the info, and also the number of the driver. The driver was added for a good price and also stayed for about 8 hours as a private driver to visit the area of Ubud. You decide what you want to see and the driver will drive you. At the end of your trip he will drop you off at your stay. During the visit and the ritual, the Guide provided a lot of information. Beautiful ritual may follow. Definitely recommended!
