Aryo was a fantastic instructor. I felt comfortable the entire time. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand! Would strongly recommend.

After careful consideration, I decided to take the plunge and rent a scooter. Only thing is I had never ridden one and needed to build up confidence. That is why I decided to take a lesson and I am so glad I did. It is only two hours long but in that time, I learnt a lot and it gave me the confidence to navigate Bali's roads. My instructor, Iqbal, was great. He was very friendly and patient, and have be lots of encouragement. He showed the the basics and his teaching methods allowed me to progress and be confident on the roads straight away. We went on a quiet side street first but eventually went on road. If you have never driven a scooter before, I highly recommend you take two hours out of your life and learn. This is a great company to do just that.

I was afraid to drive the scooter by myself and now thanks to the Scooter lesson I feel comfortable enough to drive scooter alone. My „teacher“ was very nice and explained everything very good. I felt safe during the whole lesson and I really enjoyed it Would definitely recommend !

Excellent lesson today with Chris! He was on time and very professional…he asked about my experience prior and really worked with me on some of the basics for safety and confidence in handling the bike. We had a 2 hour lesson and I’ve much improved—thank you Chris!

We were learning how to ride scooters in preparation for a long trip. They guys communicated clearly, were supportive and fun to learn from. I felt confident in my ability to ride in Bali by the end of the lesson.

My lesson was great! So worth doing if you’ve never driven a scooter before. My instructor was great, really informative and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Sin was a great teacher who explained everything clearly. We did some drills to get used to the handling on a small side road and then once he was sure I was going to be safe on the road, he jumped in the back and guided me round some quiet streets. He gave me some top tips about driving in Bali and how the locals ride to allow me to better read and communicate with other drivers. A really good experience and I feel much safer on the roads now.

Instructor was very nice and helpful. Me and my brother felt much more confident driving a scooter after the lesson.

This guy's are pro. Would recommend any time to close friends and anyone who has never ridden a motorbike like me. They took the time and made all effort available to teach me in a safe environment and make me feel confident into the bike. I had a nice 1 lesson . I was really stressed at the beginning but my teacher Rafii was patient and understanding. And I didn’t even crush :) I recommend !

I have never ride a scooter before,buat they taught me very well, we did the very basic up to go ride on the street.. we schedule the 2nd one but we cancel bc we don't have too much time to do the lessons.. great experience

I found this company through web search and contacted them through Instagram to ask if they have services in Ubud. They inform me that they are based in Canggu but can come to Ubud. I book two lesson and the first lesson was ok. The second time the course instructor could not find roads in Ubud with less traffic because he did not know the roads in Ubud very well so we finished an hour early and he suggested I go to Canggu for the remainder one hour of the lesson. Although the company had advertised that they were able to provide lesson in Ubud I gave the instructor benefit of the doubt considering it is a small business and traveled to Canggu on my personal expense. It was 90-120 minutes each way and almost 200,000 total for transportation. When I arrive there the instructor came half an hour late from my schedule time (for a one hour lesson). I told him I couldn’t stay past my schedule time because I had an appointment in Ubud and he agreed that they can give me partial refund. I contacted the company representative that arranged my lesson and requested a refund for one class because I wasted half day and spent almost 200000 traveling to Canggu and back. They refused and said I only get refund 250000 idr which isn’t even half of the $50 I pay for the class. Their reasoning was that by using viator they only profit 500000 idr and that the instructor did not know I only had one hour for the lesson (even though the lesson was supposed to be one hour long?). I was quite bothered by this but agreed to the 250000 refund. Needless to say I did not even get that and the company did not honor their word. When it came to delivering the money they initially said that they will have the instructor come to Ubud to deliver the money. Then they asked if they can transfer the money to my bank which was not possible because I have a federal bank in America. Then they explained to me that they have a gojek service in Indonesia that they can send the money with as a package. They conveniently left out the part that they expect me to pay for the service so I agreed. The course instructor messaged me the day I was supposed to get the package with the amount I need to pay him for the service. I told him it doesn’t make sense for me to pay for the service when the reason for my refund is because he came very late to my session. He said it is my responsibility to pay for the service which I found completely insulting and disrespectful after everything they put me through. When I refused he made other ridiculous suggestions of how I can get my refund such as me traveling to his office in Canggu from Ubud on my own dime or asking reservation staff for their bank account info so he can transfer the money to them and they can pay me that amount in cash. When I told him it was not possible to do this he would not give me the 250000 by paying for gojek service himself. As evident, this company does not at all respect their customers time and money and in some instances is even taking advantage of tourists naivety. Please note I have attached screenshots for proof of my narrative because I would not put it below them to deny that they behaved this way. I would sincerely advise others not to use this company to take lessons. There are several companies in Bali that offer scooter lessons and it is almost impossible for them to have less integrity than this company.

Raffi was awesome, he made sure I was safe, understood each action and was sure to help me stay calm while riding. He went out of him way to get the right bike for me and make time to meet.

Amazing lesson with Raffi. I had a lesson with clutch motorcycle. First he explained the basics, then I tried to practice the work with the clutch through several exercises on empty road, he pointed out my mistakes and where I can improve, then we went to quiet road with a few cars here and there, and at the end we went to super busy road, all directed by Raffi behind me, I felt very safe and comfortable, I can highly recommend a lesson with the guys, thanks!

Raffi was amazing and patient. Went through a quiet road and ended up in a busier road with Raffi at the back ensuring that I was calm. I was always scared of riding a bike in Bali as there are so many riders on the streets and the traffic is really crazy here. However being at the back of a Gojek rider for a few weeks now it didn't make it any easier for me as those bike riders are so used to riding bikes that they ride on zig zags, in between cars, very fast etc. I've contacted Kuta Seminyak Scooter lessons and booked a 2 hour lesson for me. The process was very easy and in 48 hours I had a very lovely and experienced guy called Raffi to meet me at my hotel. He told he we had to go to Seseh where it was quiet and not many people on the streets. When we got there Raffi showed me the instructions (which are minimal and very easy) and told me to practice on this off road where there was nobody. At the beginning I was a bit uncomfortable, specially doing u turns, but after 10/15 minutes I felt much better on the bike. Raffi watched me very patiently and was always giving me feedbacks of how to improve it. He was very friendly and a super nice guy. I highly recommend him. When I felt good enough he took me to a bigger road, let me ride the bike, sat on the back and continued to give me some nice feedbacks. I ended up losing my fear of riding bikes and already rented one to practice on the road. Very happy for having had this lesson with Raffi! I highly recommend him.

After visiting Java, on my first day in Bali, I had a scooter lesson hosted by Raffi (colleague from Dio). The lesson lasted 2 hours from 8 to 10am. Raffi picked me up from my hotel near Ubud and he took me to a quiet area where he thaught me the basics of the controls and how to manouver the bike. After that we went back into the roads with me driving and Raffi in the back giving instructions. We gradually went into ever busier roads until we were driving in the center of Ubud. Raffi was always very attentive to the street and he instructed me to drive calmly and to always beware of all surroundings. I paid 500k Rp for the lesson. I enjoyed the experience and I consider it an important step before I rent my bike for my 1-week Bali experience. I would recommend it for any other newbies as well as experienced drivers that have never seen the "asian" traffic scene. Thanks for the experience!

Dio was an amazing teacher! I wish he had been my instructor when I was first learning to drive a car. He’s very calm and patient. And he does a good job of breaking down the information into easy to understand steps. The area where you practice is also very beautiful, beautiful ocean views and calm quiet rural roads. Would definitely recommend this lesson to other travelers who want to try riding a scooter.

Dio, what a man, friendly and patient. I booked for 2 pax and reached out to me earlier to say that he can only teach one pax at a time. He even changed his meeting point with us coz we needed a parking spot to park our car. As for the lesson, he was very detailed and he went about it in stages. He was very reassuring and I ended up riding his bike for a good hour and he brought me through scenic spots and even by the seaside. But what impressed me the most is him telling me I can contact anytime to check anything with regards to riding and him following up the next day to see if I’m doing okay. If possible, I will give him a higher rating but unfortunately I can’t.

I was really apprehensive about riding a scooter but given the amount of time I’m in bali for I really needed to be able to. I had a fantastic lesson with Dio. He gave clear instructions and ensured I was comfortable at every stage of the lesson. The lesson itself is conducted through some breathtaking scenery so i really enjoyed it. I’ve since hired a scooter and have been riding it which I would never have been able to do without Dio’s help!

I’d give 6 starts if I could. Honestly the best experience. Dio couldn’t have been a better instructor. He was so patient and clear with instructions. He ensured I felt safe the whole time and did not push me to do anything I was not comfortable with. He is also very kind and took us down a beautiful beach while practicing that added to the experience. Highly recommend if you want to learn not only how to ride a scooter but drive safely in Bali traffic. Thankyou Dio!

Dio is an amazing teacher! Before the lesson I was so scared to get on a scooter, but with his guidance I felt so comfortable throughout. He is detail oriented and so patient. He really cares about teaching you to ride properly and safely. At the end of the lesson I was riding on the road, which I never thought I'd be brave enough to do, but he made it possible. Would recommend a thousand times over!

Dio is an outstanding instructor. I had never been on a scooter in my life, and was very nervous. Dio patiently showed me the correct way to ride safely. I was soon riding with a passenger. I highly recommend Dio as an instructor for anyone who has never been on a scooter before!

Having a local showing you the tricks and giving tipps is priceless! He trained a lot and now can show you how to ride safe and without hurting yourself. Highly recommend! Oh and he is fun and might get a a few really good pics of you on your ride as well!

It's really good to do this kind of experience in bali, bc when u travel around Asia, you can have public transport or you will go with your skill to ride a bike.
