This was an excellent full-day tour that truly captured the essence of Bali. From the initial booking process, the staff were friendly, responsive, and very helpful, making everything smooth and well organized from the start. The itinerary was well balanced, beginning with the Barong Dance and a visit to a silver workshop, which provided a great introduction to Balinese culture and traditional craftsmanship. Kintamani was a highlight, offering stunning views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur, complemented by a pleasant lunch with a beautiful panorama. Tirta Empul offered a peaceful and meaningful experience, while Goa Gajah added a fascinating historical dimension to the day. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared clear, engaging explanations throughout the tour, which greatly enhanced the experience. The driver was also excellent, professional, and drove safely, ensuring a comfortable journey throughout the day. All entrance and additional fees were already included, which made the experience hassle free with no unexpected costs. The crowd size was also well managed, allowing us to enjoy each stop comfortably and safely. Overall, this tour was smooth, informative, and very well managed. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Bali’s culture, nature, and history in one day.

Itinerary
The perfect introduction to Bali's fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice paddy fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano. Your journey takes you to Batubulan, known for its stone carving and ornate temples, here you will see the exciting Barong Dance. A traditional dance that portrays the eternal struggle between good and evil, the religious and the profane and with a dramatic ending.
Continue on through the silver village of Celuk. Watch artisans chipping intricate designs from Silver
View Mount Batur an active volcano with its ribbons of black lava running down its peak to the valley below. Beside lies the shimmering lake of Batur. Enjoy lunch in a restaurant providing wonderful views (lunch is at own expense). On the return back, you will stop at the Holy springs which are believed to have magic curative powers.
Visit Ubud the artistic heart of Bali and Celuk the gold and silver making center on route.
Then visit the fantastic 11th century Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah) before moving into the cool mountains of Kintamani. Dating back to the 11th century, Goa Gajah offers a dramatic entrance to an in-ground cave, carved from rock and depicting entangled leaves, ocean waves, animals and the shapes of local spirits. Walk the sacred temple grounds and soak up the mystical ambiance of this special place.

Guside was a great guide and fun to be with He was lovey showed us a lot of things and was very knowledgeable. Id certainly recommend him and i would nt hesitate to go with him again
Only one spot is worth visiting. Otherwise, total waste of time and money. Tour guide was friendly though.
The drive up is very pleasant and makes you expectant. The volcano view from the restaurant is fantastic and offers immense photo opportunities.

Visited some beautiful temples and the dance was so cool. The view of the volcano was okay.....I was expecting to be closer with a better view of it. Also lunch buffet was expensive and they do not take card as they do not have a good signal apparenlty, The tour guide driver was friendly and nice.

WOW! to see the volcano and dine outdoors was amazing. We lucked out and had only the 4 of us on our tour. We saw many things, local and scenic, cultural and historical. What a wonderful day with a very well informed guide. The dance was great.....most entertaining. This tour was enhanced because we were only 4...not part of a larger group. Good for seniours.

good day trip, however, since it was raining, we couldn't see the volcano as the mountains was surrounded by mist and cloud!

got to see lots of different sites as there was just two of us so they took us to other places to visit such as the batik studio and the coffee plantation. Because there was only 2 of us it felt awkward not buying something from everywhere we stopped. The only downside was that we never got to choose a restaurant for lunch, it was our guides choice and for a fussy eater there was not much in the buffet i ate so it was not worth the price.

Great view of the volcano, it would have been nice to get a little bit closer for a better view, but was worth it.

Great tour covering lots of distance, cultural highlights, scenic delights with some shopping opportunities thrown in. Downside was extra charge for hotel pickup paid in cash due to Tabanan location - ideally should be able to select this on purchase.

I was as lucky as to have Anto as my guide and even luckier to be the only person on the tour and being treated close to a royalty. Anto and the driver arrived to pick me up at the hotel in time. From there, we headed to the Barong Dance show - a must see - and after to the Denpasar area where we paid a visit to the batik makers, wood and metal carvers a bit too expensive in my opinion and then up to the Kintamani mountain, where we stopped for lunch. You can notice the change in temperature going up from South to the North part of the island and experience also astonishing sceneries. We stopped also at a Luwaki coffee plantation I really wanted to try it, although the process of making it is not very appealing :. Headed to the Elephant Cave afterwards for the last part of the journey - a thing not to be missed. Impressive by the architecture and the way its been preserved over the centuries. All in all, a trip not to be missed!

Fabulous tour covering a lot of things/areas. This was one of the best days of my holiday and would highly recommend it. The guide was always there ready to take photos and he was also very informative and friendly

This was a marvellous tour! We made stops to a batik making shop, painting shop, silver jewellery shop, and the rice fields in betweens our major sight-seeing locations. The highlight was really the Barong Dance and the Volcano trips. We thoroughly enjoyed the show but the volcano was simply stunning! Not to mention, our tour guide, Sandi was very informative and hospitable.

This tour was entertaining and informative.
The real disappointment was on the absence of the detail on the added or extra surcharge cost per person that were charged on at the time of the pickup prior to the tour. The cost was Rp. 199,950/person.
This type of cost was not once even mentioned earlie

did not visit ubud and did not like visiting the wood, jewellery and painting factories as felt pressured to buy. overall ok even though small group.

Actually its better to hire personal cab - go and see the Volcano and have sumptuous lunch. On the way you can rice terrace and few temples.
If you go by this tour - they will take you to irritating art/handicraft/wood work unit. Its time-wasting, irritating and tiring. I am sure all this places would be paying commission to the guide for bringing tourist to them. Balinese dance is ok - but after 15 min you will start waiting to end which never end and goes on for 1 hour.

Great tour, guide very friendly, had good knowledge about all sites visited. Buffet lunch was very average. I would have preferred an option to order own meal.

Good tour and you see a lot. Anyhow you can make your purchases cheaper at other locations than visited e.g. coffee from supermarket.

Was an ok day liked going out to see the valcanoe and scenery just wished I was notified if I was only person on this tour as several of my tours had no other travellors and it alters whole day when noone else comes on trip

We enjoyed the tour very much , the volcano was amazing to see definitely the highlight of this tour.

The recommend restaurant can see the view of Volcano. Very good view. Very exciting experience.

This tour was amazing, great guid :) amazing places , very good food.

Our guide, Radi was very accommodating, and his knowledge about the island is immense. However, it would be better if we there was another theatre package that can be attended, mostly dance instead of a play.

Its oky, not as you expect from professional balinesse.

Also there were important temples ahould be added in the tour.

Bali is beautiful and many places can be added to the tour not the ordinary places

Excellent tour covered many cultural aspects visited thd wood carving and watched the craftsman at work
The rim if the volcano where we stopped for lunch was a great viewing point while it started to drizzle thd weather changed pretty quickly leaving us with somd great views of Mt Batu and the lake
Very good guide knowledgeable and obliging

Overall a good tour except for the number of long stops at places related to shopping, not part of the program. Example 40 mins at the silver factory, a short stop at wood carving, 25 min stop at spice and coffee farm, 20 min stop at fabric factory and ONLY a 5 min stop at the rice terraces. Suggest a schedule be discussed at the beginning to avoid disappointment. It always depends on the other participants of the tour, but some compromising should be made or the guide have better control. Seeing the dancing was excellent. It was the first stop.

I gave it 1 star be amuse I could not give it no stars.
Car had inadequate aircon and no rear suspension. Every stop was to a shop to sell you something. Ubud stop was not in the town, just to a place to flog you awful paintings. Do not waste your time on this tour via Viator

Not the best experience. The sights were really lovely and it was good to do this. However, our driver was 40 mins late.. The restaurant we went to at the mountains top was disgusting and my boyfriend got food poisoning from there which he still has at points now (We went in Sept and it is now late Dec). Also our driver did alot of talking which was informative at points but I felt like it went on at other points and I would have much rather had the chance to take in the scenery than have the guide speak at us non stop. It was kind of exhausting. The coffee experience was good. I wouldnt do this tour again to be honest.

Bali Kintamani tour is wonderful for a memorable and exciting holiday.Tour guide Beni takes us through various craft villages(seluk and painting- village etc) after a unique traditional Barong Dance(to begin with) and picturesque rice fields with characterisric terrestrial-farming and to the awe-struck site of Mount Batur(inactive volcano) with Lake Batur shoulder to shoulder; The view of Mount Batur is awesome, especially from the Restaurant where we had lunch. Finally the tour was rapped up with the visit to a typical Balinese ancient house ,which is of historical interest. Guide Bene could have interacted more with the very limited tourists(six) during the long drives through various craft-villages in between the specified tour-spots(instead of the driver).Otherwise mr.Bene was very friendly and knowledgeable. Once again thanks to Viator for designing the Tour, tracking the tourist and executing the tour with such precision..! -Satishchandra

Tour guide was excellent, full of information, the lunch at the volcano was expensive and not very good at all, beware of all the hassling you get outside as well, otherwise very enjoyable time due to guide :)

Very informative. Enjoyed seeing the real Bali Not just the tourist sections. I must make a special mention of the guide Rai. He was a very good and spoke good English so he was able to explain a lot of things that we saw. Again a very good day and I would highly recommend this tour

This was a very good tour. The tour guide and driver were very professional. I loved the Barong Dance. The leuwak coffee at the coffee plantation was interesting. The vista view Mount Batur was awesome. However, we did NOT stop in Ubud as the tour said we would. This was very disappointing as myself and the other 3 in the van choose this tour especially to see Ubud. Not likely I will get back to Bali to do so. Very disappointing.

This area of Bali, beyond the beaches and malls, is fascinating, and the tour gave me a better understanding of the people, their crafts and culture. My guide, Mr. Wiyasa, had a remarkable familiarity with the region. The restaurant overlooking the volcano, offered a nice selection of indonesian fare as well as a great view. The hindu temples, with their pools, gardens and sculptures added to my enjoyment.

unremarkable. Ubud - passed through outskirts only. spent more time viciting batik , silver shops etc.

This is a totally comercial oriented tour, a huge waste of time in shops looking for comissions.

The Ubud area is a wonderful site to visit and enjoy but the tour focus on commercial stops making the tourist loose their precious time in stores.

The temple is a wonderful place to visit but the dance, the wood carving and the silver and jewlery are a waste of time. You may take advantage of the wonderful nature in Ubud as well as the city center itself to allow people more time there and less in shopping sites that gives comission to the tour operator

Nice one. But careful on wallet. Local sellers will torcher you...

A bit disappointed about the volcano. Thought it be more than what we saw but mainly cloud was covering it. Baring dance full day tour wasn't so bad. But you really need to understand what the story is about before you watch them. From getting one place to the other was about an hour drive

Very good tour. Our tour guide Dana (Morgan Freeman Look-Alike) was great!! We learned a lot and saw some nice places.

My first introduction to the Bali scenery and culture. The Barong was very good and the drive to the volcano was fantastic. The restaurant for lunch had very good atmosphere and the lunch was fantastic. My guide Rai was exceptional. Would recommend this tour to all.

This is a good tour, but should note:

- you do not actually visit the volcano just see it from the mountain top.
- many of the stops focus on shopping - silver making, wood carving, paintings - which are nice to see but also you can do on your own.
- highlight was the fruit plantation - where you get to try so many types of coffee/ tea.

Whilst the scenery was fantastic and very impressive (even though our day was slightly overcast) this local tour provider did not take us to venues that I have become accustomed to re Viators standards. Lunch was average, transport very average, silver shop in Celuk dirty. Better with private driver

Excellent Guide and Driver, but the roads clogged with traffic

The tour took 10 hours so it was a long day but a very enjoyable day. You get to see a lot of Bali and you get to see how hard the Balinese work. The wood carving was amazing they are very clever. Nice lunch at the volcano. Our guide Kana was great and he was full of information.

Overall the tour was ok, one point i'm not happy was the tour guide, Benny did not take us to Elephant Cave! Had not realised it was on the itinerary till we got back to Aust :(

Our guide, Wendra, was very knowledgeable. We were a small group of 3 young couples.
All the stops were appropriate. We found the restaurant that we stopped for lunch expensive for a buffet lunch in Bali.
The pick up was on time and everything went well and was very enjoyable.
I recommend this trip.

Great way to see Bali and do some shopping. And my your guide was Great!! We skipped the temple and went to the monkey forest instead per my request. So much fun!

Enjoyable and thorough tour of Ubud and the surrounding villages. Kana was the best tour guide and wonderful with our toddler son.

I enjoyed this trip - if like me you've been to Bali a few times and are looking for something different, this covers a large part of the centre of the island.

Really nice tour. Stopped at a silver / gold maker and definitely made a purchase. The Barong Dance was quite fun and the costumes were amazing!
