Ijen hit differently. Hiking up in the pitch dark, seeing the sulfur miners hauling their loads under brutal conditions, then catching those electric blue flames dancing in the crater. It humbled me in a way I wasn't expecting. Honestly, a big part of why this trip stood out was our guide, H. Genuinely funny guy, cracking jokes even at 3am on the trail, but he'd switch a moment later into serious guide mode when it mattered. He knew the volcanoes, the Tenggerese culture, and the miners' stories inside out, and somehow made two days of hiking feel like hanging out with a mate who happens to know everything. He is also the best in directing your photos and videos, so if you happen to be solo traveler like me, great photos which capture your trip are guaranteed! If you're thinking about doing this trip, just book it, and ask for H. Splendid landscapes, great laughs, highly recommend.

It was a great experience! From the beginning until the end! We saw the most beautiful and least touristic spots! Bara and his uncle Rido were fun to hang out with and they took beautiful spots! If you ever doubt, don't! You see everything you need to see and even though you get little sleep. It's worth it! Look at the pictures yourself.

I appreciate to organize and take me out to the breathtaking nature tour in Indonesia. I was able to go and see the 3 sightseeing spots (Mr. Bromo, tempak sewn waterfall) in 2 days. Might be little bit itinerary but It was helpful for me because my vacation was limited in 2 days. Basically food is not included in the fixed price except for the hotel breakfast but they took me to the local food as well. Hotel stay duration was limited because we had a plan to observe the sunrise at ijen but it was comfortable. Also, ship dumping of room service was so good. Thank you, tour guide; Arya and driver; Febry! They’re so kind and well supported to me. They recognized me as first priority and asked me about my preference. In addition, local guides were so nice! They also lead me safely. I really would like to recommend this tour to all of my friend and family even those who seek so travel like me!

My friend and I did the 2 day 1 night mt bromo, waterfall, and mt ijen tour. Our guide Riza made the experience unforgettable. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. He has thought of everything down to the littlest details like a bag of hand warmers for the cold morning hikes and a mat to sit on to watch the sunrises! He gave unbelievable recommendations for our onward travel places on our trip and has the best energy to be around. the views were incredible and return to efforts is insanely high! bromo was no hiking required, Ijen has easy hiking (4km, 1hr steep 1hr flat). our guide Riza was well prepared and very on the ball throughout the trip. Highly recommend!

We made the Bromo & Ijen 2 days 1 night trip with Bara from Bromo Vacation and it was a real great experience. We were very lucky to be just the four of us in the trip and Bara and Agus were the best guides. They manage the time very well although it is a tight and demanding schedule as you’re doing the track in the night to watch the sunrise. The views were amazing and is an unmissable experience!

We had an absolutely unforgettable experience on this tour - every detail was organised smoothly with great communication from the beginning and despite never having done anything like this before my wife and I felt very much that we were in safe hands. The views from Bromo and Ijen are absolutely stunning, and it was very surreal and special to see the sun rising from each of them having ascended them in the very early morning! The quality of our experience was enhanced beyond description by our guide Hirman, who was simply the best we could have imagined - patient, knowledgable, funny, interesting - we really felt like we made a new friend and were hanging out! No question or request was too small and it was a privilege to get to know him, be guided by him and learn some of his knowledge. Special thanks are also due to our driver Mr Febri, who covers a lot of miles in this trip - he was so nice, polite and professional and we felt totally safe at all times even in some adverse weather and terrain. Excellent trip that we had in east java! I have lazwardi as my guide and mr anton as our driver. They are perfect combinations and so cool team!. Especially our guide, mr lazwardi the professor in bromo ahaha He explained to us many things, and of course most well prepared guide in indonesia!. He have a mat, tripod, suprisingly a souvenir, and of course his knowledge. We have a serious debate on the history but it was very fun! Because we are really like to have a debate about history and he is well prepared fo battle also! (Because a lot of guide just say yes and sorry about our opinion, but he battling us) And of course the services its excellent, both drivers especially anton its good driver!. And another things that i really like its, we got a premium services with the best prices! (We had a lot of trip with so expensive but not woth this kind of services) Very excellent trip, and hope mr laz aka la professori can visiting our country next time and we continue our debate! jokes! Had the most amazing time visiting Mt Bromo and Mt Ijen with Hirman (guide) and Ijat (driver). Hirman was a great informative guide/cameraman who made us smile from start to finish. Everything was at our pace and we definitely beat the crowds! Ijat was a great driver which meant we could get some sleep on the drives despite the roads! You also have a different 4WD driver and a ranger at Mt Ijen and both were also very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend the tour and if you can ask for these guys!

10/10 experience!! We felt so looked after by our guide Laz, as well as our drivers and local guides at madakaripura and ijen. They made sure we were in the first group to see the blue flames which was important to us to beat the crowds, same with the secret spots for both of the sunrise views :) also they were all such great photographers! Very pleased with this experience from start to end! Mt Bromo sunrise was absolutely stunning, easily the best sunrise we’ve ever seen in our lives. Our guide Oni was fantastic, he took care of us well and was very accommodating to our requests :) He found such a good spot to wait for the sunrise and helped us to take many good photos throughout the trip! Special thanks to our driver Faisal for driving us safely and comfortably, we slept through most of the car rides! The local guide that we had for Mt Ijen also did a great job at keeping us safe (I had some difficulty climbing down and he guided me well). And our jeep driver to Mt Bromo also doubled up as a photographer who directed us in posing with the jeep. Really great experience overall and just wanna say thanks to the whole team for it! :)

Simply the best! Hirman was 10/10, just perfect. The tour itself was amazing (the locations, the stops and the hotel). But Hiram was on another level. He is knowledgeable, high energy, funny and his english is perfect. I learned so much, and laughed a lot also. It felt like traveling with an old friend, but with all the local knowledge (both treks, best sunrise spot, but also a lot on culture and the phenomenon we observed - blue fire, how mount bromo was formed, etc). There was no question he didn’t have a complete and thorough answer and he was 100% of the time concerned with my wellbeing. Everything you could expect from a guide!

We had an amazing time on our tour! The organisation of the two day trip was unreal, everything was well planned, from transfer and accommodation down to snacks and coffee breaks. We adored our guide Akbar Ganteng, he was very helpful in terms of planning the tour, gave us great information on Mt Bromo and Ijen and he was also really fun to be around as well as a fantastic fotographer. Anton Ganteng, who was our driver on this trip was also great and we always felt safe on the road. I would 100% recommend this tour and our guides!

We spent an amazing two days with our wonderful guide Akbar Ganteng and his uncle Anton Ganteng exploring mount Bromo and Ijen. The organization of the trip was excellent from the transport to the accomodation. They were friendly, cheerful and eager to help or explain anything at any occasion. My friends and I travelled out to Java and booked on to do the 2D1N Ijen and Mt Bromo hike- something we have all wanted to do for such a long time. This tour is awesome! Edy (our guide) hiked up with us on Mt Ijen for the sunrise. Unfortunately we weren't able to see the blue flames due to volcanic activity but the views up top were still phenomenal! The next day we went up to Mt Bromo where our hotel has gorgeous views. The views are also amazing where we saw active volcanos in the distance. Our driver, Pandi, was also very good. Very smooth driving. 10/10 recommend!

We did the 2-day, 1-night tour from Bali to Malang, visiting Ijen Volcano and the Bromo sunrise trek, and it was amazing! Eddie, our guide, and Pande, our driver, were fantastic—so friendly and always making sure we were comfortable. They even showed us some awesome Indonesian Ska music and taught us some Indonesian words, so we got a little language lesson included too! :) The trip was well-organized, the views were unreal, and Eddie and Pande made it so much fun. If you’re thinking about booking this tour, do it—you won’t regret it!

We found the company Bromo Vacation and they were incredibly fast answering all our questions via whatsapp! They let you pay at the end of the trip which is perfect, so that you can modify and extend the trip as you prefer. Risky was a optimal guide, he speaks English very well (as English college graduate) and he can answer to all the curiosity questions you may regarding Indonesia. The trip was adventurous and the trekkings amazing, even though you are not proficient in hiking, Risky helps you in the path. He is a super good photographer!

My wire and I were lucky enough to experience an amazing trip with Inggit and driver Budi. Initially our trip to Ijen crater was cancelled however the tour team came up with a brilliant idea to overcome this and instead we headed to Mada Falls. All my requests were respected and my wife and I had a proper 10/10 trip. Would highly rate using Bromo Vacation team. I will most definitely recommend them to my family.

The tour was well organised and the tour guide Laz was very helpful and precise in his instructions. It was a pity that we were not able to see the blu lava; maybe next time we should start the hiking before since the path is very slippery and difficult to be done by people who are not used to it. Nonetheless, Laz waited for us when we need to take a break and was willing to help us in every situation. 5 stars for him !

My family and I had an amazing time on our Bromo and Ijen 2D1N trip. Our guide Abdurrahman (Dora) went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe, we were feeling good, and that we got to see everything we wanted! Could not have asked for a better guide experience. The bus was also very spacious, making the long drives between locations much more comfortable. Make sure you ask for Dora if you book with BromoVacation or CheapBromo! Our trip included a taxi ride from Ubud to the Gilimanuk port, and our driver Mr. Jack also went above and beyond by arriving early and escorting us right to the ferry- ensuring we were able to board in a timely manner since we had never taken a ferry in Indonesia before! Would definitely book with this team again.
