Esa was a great tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The monkey forest was a fun experience and great to feed the monkeys. Great driver and lovely air conditioning.

My guide Esa was super friendly and we had a good conversation in the car, where he explained a lot to me about traditional Balinese culture and about Bali today. All 3 sights included in the tour were very cool and different to see, my favorite was the Monkey Forest. I think that since it was just me on the tour, each stop went a little faster, so with the extra time we made one more stop at a coffee plantation to try their special Luwak coffee. Over all the trip took around 7 hours. I highly recommend it for everyone.

Go early, Bali traffic is horrendous. The monkeys were fun and the rice paddies amazing. It’s a shame about the modern version of the ancient terraces. The Temple very spiritual.

Esa went above and beyond in this experience. Starting with the communication the day before then the pick up then the tour around. Between monkey forest , rice terrace the coffe plantation and the temple he explained everything in the best way it could be. He took us to the swing experience and the wood carving then the Silberman places. We couldn’t ask for more. Very highly recommended 😊

This was a great, well balanced and paced tour taking in the highlights of the Ubud region in Bali. The half day tour included four diversified locations, starting with the Monkey Forest right at feeding time, followed by the majestic rice terraces. We then continued to a local and serene Ubud temple finishing with a visit to a coffee plantation complete with free tastings of 14 varieties of coffee and tea. We then stopped for lunch at an atmospheric restaurant overlooking rice fields. The tour company, Bali Local Host, was very easy to communicate with and my assigned tour guide, Esa, was excellent. He is youthful and cheerful, always with a smile, and very knowledgeable about Bali and all the locations we visited. He speaks excellent English and is fun and easy to talk to. I would love to have Esa as my guide on any future tour. The tour began at 8am from my hotel in Seminyak and I was dropped off at about 2.30pm, leaving the afternoon free to relax and explore. This was the perfect schedule for my plans. I highly recommend booking this tour if you plan on visiting Bali and would like a cultural experience.

Esa was a fantastic guide for this tour, he told us so much about everywhere we visited and answered all of our questions. Along the way he also told us lots of interesting facts about Balinese culture. The traffic is intense but Esa was such a competent driver we felt safe all the time. Highlights of this trip - all of it, the Holy Water temple, Monkey forest, rice terrace and Lewak coffee tasting.

I am so happy we booked with this company!! Esa was on time, very communicative, and fun to spend the day with. He took us to the sites, and as a Bali native, was great at explaining and answering questions. He took plenty of pictures for us - something we tend to lack getting while traveling. His car was clean, had AC, and in great condition.

We love our tour with Essa. He was early at pick up and so kind about waiting several minutes for us. His car has great AC and is new - very comfortable. He takes fantastic pictures and knows the best spots for them. We really wanted 1/2 day option so this perfect and we felt like we got to see a lot. We especially LOVED monkey forest. Plus the rice terraces we went to weren't crowded which was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Saying we had an amazing day with Esa is actually an understatement! We had an idea of how the day would go, but Esa completely surpassed our expectations. We booked the half-day tour of the Monkey Sanctuary, Tirta Empul Temple, and Tegalalang Rice Terrace, and from start to finish he made the experience unforgettable. Esa shared the history and significance of each location while also making sure we captured great photos along the way. He was incredibly patient at Tegalalang as we wanted to try all the activities and take in every part of the experience. He even added a fantastic stop at a Luwak coffee plantation and lunch, which was a wonderful bonus. The personal touches truly set him apart, from having cold water waiting for us in the car to listening carefully to everything we wanted to do and tailoring the day accordingly. My last visit to Bali was 30 years ago, so the half day tour by our guide Maha was superb. We had a great time at the monkey sanctuary and Maha’s insight into the various temples we visited was terrific. This is definitely a must do especially for first time visitors.

My wife and I (Susan and David) had an amazing private tour with Esa. Esa is professional, knowledgeable, polite, patient and entertaining. We went to the monkey forest, rice terrace and the Tirta temple. We finished a little early so Esa was kind enough to take us to the silver and gold gallery (Yatra Gallery). We had a demonstration on how some silver jewelry is made. Afterwords we shopped at the gallery and found great prices, so my wife and I purchased a few items. An amazing day with Esa.

Esa had a wonderful, air conditioned, roomy car. Very good English. We especially enjoyed the visit to the Monkey Forest and temple. It was convenient that Esa arranged the admission to all the places he took us to. We would use him again. Maybe tomorrow!

Highly recommend while you are in Bali, and they have a unique experience of the BESS collection near Ubud. It is really a very good, unique experience to have a half-day tour with Pak SE. From the morning until the afternoon, we visited: 1. The Monkey Temple: to feel the harmony between nature, humankind, and animals. 2. The Rice Terraces: a magnificent view where we understood the irrigation of the whole area. 3. Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu: where I also practiced the ritual. 4. The coffee plantation: where we had a chance to try a lot of coffee, including the authentic Kopi Luwak. It is a remarkable experience and I highly recommend booking with Pak SE and his agency; it's well worth the visit.

Esa was punctual, friendly and very informative about the history of Bali as well as everywhere we went. Comfortable vehicke with great AC as it was 34 degrees on this day. He took pictures of us together for us. He took us everywhere we had planned and even stopped along the way back for us to pick up a couple souvenirs. We never felt rushed. It was a wonderful experience! We would recommend him to take you anywhere on this Island. Great job Esa!

We scheduled a tour for two couples. We had a private driver who spoke good English. Esa picked us up from the cruise port in Bali and drove us to the Monkey Forest, where we saw a lot of monkeys. We went to the rice terrace and took more pictures. Then we went to the Tirta Empul temple, very large and beautiful. We stopped at a nice restaurant with good local food at reasonable prices. Then he took us to one of the coffee plantations so I could buy special Indonesian coffee for a friend who didn't buy it the day before. Esa was wonderful throughout the trip. He is an exceptional driver, getting us safely through crazy traffic. Thank you Esa, we want to schedule a tour with you next year!

This is one of the best tours we have ever taken. Esa was an amazing guide, very informative, friendly, showed us all the great photo spots & took a ton of photos of us. We especially appreciated his good driving with the challenging traffic! We saw everything we wanted at a pace that allowed for admiring all there was to see. Esa was a great driver for my 1/2 day excursion to Ubud, the car was clean, air conditioned and he was a safe and steady driver in the crazy Bali traffic. He did a wonderful job explaining Balinese culture, significant structures and pointed out many things along our route.

I did a half day with Esa from Seminyak yo Ubud. I had an awesome day with visits to the Monkey Forest, Coffee Plantation and Temple at Sebatu. Esa was amazing; a polite gentleman who drove very well from Ubud to Seminyak to collect me. So grateful for his patience with driving and a fabulous photographer also for me. 🙏🏼

Excellent experience. Deserves ten stars! Esa, our guide and driver, is a very nice, polite and knowledgeable young man and we felt perfectly at ease in his company. We packed a lot into the six hours we were together but never felt rushed or under pressure yet he ensured that we were back at the ship by the time we’d stipulated even using his knowledge of the area to take back roads to avoid traffic congestion. He took photos of us at various points of interest and answered all our questions fully and with patience. Can’t recommend Esa and this experience highly enough.

He communicated well with us at every stage so we were confident that he would be there to meet us at the appointed time, which he was. He managed to hit just the right note between imparting interesting information and having periods of quiet without the silence feeling uncomfortable. We fitted a lot into the six hours we were with him but didn’t feel rushed at any point. Maha is the absolute best! We loved our tour with him and he truly made our Bali experience. We are so happy we got him as our guide. He was very patient, kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. A pleasure to spend the half day with. He also made the most excellent rec to do the water purification ceremony at a less crowded temple. We wish we had listened to him from the get go as the popular Tirta empul had crazy lines and was way too crowded. We decided not to do the water ceremony there after seeing the lines and were still able to stop at a quieter temple per his suggestion. He was very accommodating. His rec was much more beautiful and peaceful, and we had the most magical experience there. We would definitely hire him again in a heartbeat and would recommend this tour to anyone. The car was also very roomy and comfortable. Maha provided water bottles and umbrellas for the rain. He also held all our belongings and took photos. He very much went above and beyond. What a gracious and accommodating guide he is!

From Ubud we did not want a full day tour. Esa, our guide. took us to a rice terrace, temple, coffee plantation and monkey forest. It took us 4 hours in all which was ideal. We chose to start at 8 to avoid the afternoon sun but we could have started later.
