Half Day Bali Tour

We booked a half day trip which was perfect for our family with kids 10 and 12. Ketut Ajus, our guide was excellent. He was punctual and knowledgeable explaining the different sites and providing excellent commentary. If you haven't got time to a full day tour I would highly recommend this one as Ketut was amazing.

The best tour guide. Great english translation and always up for more talking or some quiet time on the trip back to hotel. The lunch was amazing definitely recommend getting lunch at the rice terrace with. The price is definitely great for where you go and what you see. Ketut is great he offers fo take your photos and very knowledgeable.

This is a perfect way to see the highlights of the Ubud area. Our tour guide Ketut made this an unforgettable experience. He shared his culture and history while making us laugh. He was able to recommend activities which made this tour feel like our own. Showed us the best lunch spot with the nicest people. The coffee plantation was such a highlight, where we did a complementary tasting of 20 teas and coffees. He adjusted our activities to accommodate my hatred of walking up stairs. He was so amazing and this tour was a perfect mix of fun tourist activities, Balinese culture, and nature. Would recommend both this tour and our guide Ketut to anyone visiting Bali.

We had Ketut as a guide and Kedad as a driver. I couldn’t have asked for a better pair or a better day! Ketut shared Balinese tradition and culture throughout our day. We saw one of the oldest temples where Ketut explained the significance of the building to the community and what the many symbols mean. We stopped for Batik art and silver. We went to the coffee plantation and tasted a variety of Balinese coffees and teas and had a wonderful lunch overlooking a beautiful rice paddy. We went to the waterfall overlook and finished the day at a traditional Balinese home complete with Grandma and Grandpa who so graciously shared their space. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour and am so happy that we had Ketut to share his beautiful world!

We had an amazing time with out tour guide Ketut! He is a local who is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We learned a lot about the culture, saw beautiful parts of Bali and had a delicious lunch. We would recommend booking him if you are looking for a fun safe tour of the island.

Ketut was a fantastic guide! He was prompt in picking us up from our hotel and took extra steps to ensure we were comfortable during our tour. He was attentive and caring when dealing with the whole family and made an effort to ensure the whole family had a good time. We learnt a lot about the areas we visited and the local culture with Ketut telling us his own stories about his life, family, work and Balinese culture. We booked this tour wanting to give the kids an opportunity to experience local culture and Ketut offered so much more than we were expecting. A fantastic experience and highly recommend! Ketut Ajus was an absolutely phenomenal guide! Incredibly friendly, with brilliant English and was very knowledgeable about everything you may want to see or know about Bali. After enquiring with things we were interested in seeing, he replied promptly and made a clear itinerary for our day trip which helped us to visualise our day as well as was open to changing or adding anything extra. We used Ketut Ajus for our customised day trip in Ubud and surroundings areas, and honestly it was the best decision we ever made. Ketut was so knowledgeable about each place we were going as well as Indonesian/Bali history. I definitely feel like I have learnt and appreciated more about the culture. We had such a great day exploring Ubud with our guide Ketut! He was really friendly, relaxed and knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Tekut was a Great Guide. Lives in a village outside Ubud. Speaks Prefect English Picked us up from Nusa Dua. Great tour with several options to suit our interests. We asked lots of questions throughout the day and his knowledge of the history and culture of Bali really enhanced our experience.

Took us on a tour where we wanted to go plus usual sites in and around Ubud. We asked heaps of questions about the history culture of Bali throughout the day and he was very Knowledgable. Mr Ketut was so friendly and welcoming. He drove us around, provided us with complimentary water bottles, and took really amazing photos and videos for us. Since he was born and raised in Bali, he was very knowledgeable about the history and culture. He gave recommendations of additional activities, which we ended up doing and really enjoying. Ketut was a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful guide. He customised our tour to ensure we got the best out of our half day experience. He took us to Batuan temple, Tegenungan waterfall, a Balinese house and coffee plantation to try kopi lawak. Together with his vast knowledge of Balinese culture and history, we had an unforgettable time here. I recommend him 100% and we would contact him again if we come back to Bali!

Dika is our guide and driver of our one day trip to Tanah Lot Temple, Ayung river rafting and waterfall. He is very punctual and helpful in explaining all the spots’ history to us. We talked a lot about local culture and helped us understand more of this island. Btw he takes good pictures too! Highly recommend him~

Amazing experience! Ketut was our guide, he picked us up from the airport and next day took us to a half day tour trip in Bali! Booked a half day tour which included the rice fields, a waterfall, coffee plantation and a temple. Our guide Ketut arrived early to pick us up and was the perfect host. Polite, personable and knowledgeable, exactly what you need from a tour guide. Thanks for a great day out.

We went to a family wood carving place. Amazing things there. Everything was beautiful and excellent people. Owner and employees. Then to the Elephant Cave. Wonderful and amazing place. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Ketut, my driver and guide was awesome. He knew a lot and explained everything in very good English. I learnt loads about Bali and Indonesia. I did some shopping outside The Temple. Good value for money. Then he took me to a coffee farm and It was so much fun. I even was able to caress the little animal that poos for the most expensive coffee in the world. The luwak. I tried many teas and coffees being my favourite zafron and curcuma tea and avocado coffee. I also tried luwak coffee which I enjoyed when they added sugar. The scenery really really beautiful. Finally we visited the Ulu Pandun Water fall, I keep forgetting the name but it was a beautiful waterfall with 90 steps down and up!!! All in all thanks to Ketut I had the most wonderful day. We never stopped chatting and he was extremely well educated and very enjoyable to talk to. I recommend this tour to everyone but make sure that Ketut is your driver and guide. 🌺🙏🏻 Happy Independence day on the 17th August. Raquel

Jun was one of the best tour leaders we ever met! He was calm and at the same time very attentive! He made his way to make sure kids are also comfortable with him and he was not only our tour leader, but also our photographer! Great morning in Ubud with Ketut. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a wonderful tour guide. So glad we got up early as the elephant cave was magical all to ourselves. The coffee plantation was also amazing, the tour was great and the coffee and tea were delicious. If you’re visiting Bali, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Ketuk. He took us to the rice terraces, a coffee tasting, a beautiful temple, the Bali swings, and a gorgeous waterfall. Along the way, he shared so much about Balinese culture and traditions, which made the day even better. Ketuk was exceptional—friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable. The experience was amazing, as well as the guide. I would recommend you if you want to have a private tour with flexibility. The price is not expensive. We started at 8AM and finished around 2:30PM.

We booked a half-day tour with Jun, and we’re so thankful we did. He is attentive and very knowledgeable about Balinese culture and general information. He speaks English fluently and knows how to interact with children, which made our trip so much fun and stress-free for us as parents. We went to the Tegallalang rice field and Elephant Cave, which was a great experience. We also visited a coffee plantation and a woodcraft shop for souvenirs, and Jun made sure we understood the significance of everything we saw along the way. It is recommended to stay in Ubud for this trip so you can get more out of it. We stayed in Uluwatu, and it takes a lot of time driving due to traffic jams. Fortunately, Jun was incredibly patient throughout, driving us safely through the traffic without ever seeming frustrated. We’re truly grateful for his warmth, patience, and care throughout the day — he made the whole experience memorable and we’d highly recommend him to anyone visiting Bali with family.

I went on this trip with my partner in June 2026. The experience was incredible! The half day tour was the perfect length for us, we were able to visit lots of amazing places in Bali and learn so much about the Balinese way of life. Everything about this trip was very well planned and ran smoothly. Pick up and drop off were direct to our hotel, the tour was private, the car was clean, comfy and had great air con. Our tour guide and driver Ketut Ajus was one of the most knowledgeable and friendly guys we’ve ever met. He instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome. He always had a smile on his face. And he taught us so much about the Balinese way of life in such an open manner. The stops at the rice terrace, coffee plantation, elephant cave temple and waterfall were all unique and enjoyable. The lunch was very tasty and filling. We never felt rushed and enjoyed the day. Overall the experience was faultless. We learnt so much from him and would recommend this tour to all. We even stopped at a coffee plantation and got free coffee tasting!
