Full-day In Bali: Private Design-your-own Tour

Although the trip advertised 10 hours duration with up to 15 visiting places. It only gave me 2 options of 6 or 4 visiting place. However, Rio is a very nice guy.

We travelled with Aris and had great time. The entire experience was very flexible and accommodating.

Fantastic day. I went on a tour with this guide the day before and visited the Ubud highlights during that day we discussed some other amazing places to visit. I had such a great time with my guide that I booked this tour with him. He worked with me on the itinerary to create an unforgettable site seeing day visiting all the places on my wish list. If I find myself back over in Bali I will be booking another tour with him. So many beautiful places and great lunch spots.

Yasmite was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. His driving made us feel very safe and comfortable throughout the journey. He followed our requested itinerary while also offering some great recommendations along the way. He was very understanding and accommodating when we wanted to be flexible with our plans. Our guide/driver Rio was fabulous! Very patient and informative. He was so kind and helpful to all our questions. He made the tour an interesting journey throughout the day. They customized our trip just what was wanted even the night before the tour.. Highly recommend!

Our driver Raka was very nice and friendly. His car was clean and spacious and had air conditioning. We would recommend this guy to any future families that want to come to Bali, Indonesia. He also gave us complementary water, which is very nice and thoughtful of him.

We had a last day to spend in Bali between our 11am hotel check-out and our late night 11:30pm flight back to Sydney and had spent most of our time in Ubud so wanted to see a bit of the south and in particular Uluwatu temple. We hired a drive/guide for the day and Aris was our driver. He was excellent!! We didn’t really know what we wanted to do other than to see the Uluwatu temple and Aris made a few recommendations of things to see on the way and told us all kinds of interesting things about Bali and the culture which we really enjoyed and was lacking from a previous half day “tour” we had taken around Ubud. It was a great way to spend our last day and while there was a bit of traffic and took us probably 3 hrs to get from our Ubud hotel to the Uluwatu temple I didn’t seem that long because we broke it up with a couple stops that Aris recommended and had great conversation with him where he answered all our questions and pointed out interesting things along the way. I would 100% recommend Aris to anyone that wants a driver for either just transport around the island or a half or full day tour. He was wonderful to talk to and took very good care of us including accompanying us into the temple to tell us about the site and importantly “protecting” us from the monkeys that like to steal things from the tourists.

Rudi was our driver and tour guide. We selected where we wanted to go and he was fully knowledgeable on each location. He was able to give us historical information as well as a look into modern Bali life. I would highly recommend Rudi!

was such a lovely experience. Was so patient with our busy schedule and waited for us throughout the day. Not only did he help us get around with ease, but also educated us on a lot of Bali culture. Our experience has been amazing! Our driver was Arias and he made our adventures incredible. He was funny, very informative, and gave excellent recommendations. He went above and beyond his job as a driver. He took us to waterfalls, rice terraces, an amazing rafting place that truly made our trip! We went on a romantic dinner to Swept Away restaurant on the River!!! We would recommend this to any couple well worth the price because it’s an experience. Wherever Arias took us he was patient and professional! Arias is a really great guy!!!

Amazing day out about around Ubud. Chris was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, kind and very helpful. He drove us around the many places and walked around with us telling us information and taking pictures. Our favourite day here in Bali and would highly recommend for all travellers.

Excellent and flexible experience. Tour guide Ayung was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and flexible. Extremely good value for money and good atmosphere throughout. Our guide also knew when would be busy and more quiet so we adjusted the route accordingly.

We had a great customized tour with our driver, Guna. We visited Ubud, the Monkey Forest, the local market, and enjoyed a massage before heading to Taman Ayun Temple. Guna was friendly, helpful, and flexible. Highly recommended!

Kavi, our tour guide was the highlight. He had good insights of the places we went and was fairly knowledgeable of the temple history.

We had a fantastic 10 hr private guide tour with Rio! The booking and pick-up process were seamless, and Rio was very helpful in providing recommendations and customizing our route to ensure we saw our top priorities. Rio was incredibly knowledgeable about each of the places we visited, and we learned so much about Balinese culture from him. Cannot recommend Rio and the 10 hr guided drive enough!

Rio was INCREDIBLE! He shared so many rich facts and knowledge about Balinese culture and was such a kind guy overall. My wife and I were asking many questions and he was very happy to answer all of them with a lot of color and enthusiasm. I’d recommend Rio to anyone for a tour like this!

Sudi was awesome - he was right in time and did an excellent job for getting to our desired locations. The drive was quick and easy. Sudi shared lots of information about the island of Bali. This was a late minute addition and we were able to see so many sites around Ubud. Sudi took excellent pictures of the 2 of us - this was a great way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We would definitely book with Sudi again.

We loved this day trip with our guide Krisna. Krisna was very friendly and knowledgeable about Bali and its traditions. We went to the Coffee plantation, Tegalalang rice terrace, Lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the jungle, Ulu Petanu waterfall, Capuhan ridge walk and Bali swing. Krisna took time to take the most incredible photos and videos of us at the waterfall and Bali swing. We highly recommend creating your own day trip with Krisna.

We visited the Rice terrace coffee plantation and holy temples with Guide Kiwi and Krishna. They explained all rituals and things on plantation very well. another Highlight was the lunch near paddy fields.

We had already been traveling for about two weeks in Malaysia and other parts of Bali, so we wanted a flexible, go at your own pace tour rather than a pre-planned tour of Ubud. I arranged a private, customized full-day tour of Ubud thru Bali 4U Tours, all via WhatsApp. They explained that my original list of sights which included Tirta Gangga and Lempuyang Temple were 2-2.5 hours away and would need a day to themselves. Texting back and forth with them helped me narrow down a suitable one-day itinerary. When booking a customized tour, just be aware upon checkout whether your price includes entrance fees and other extras so you are prepared with cash if they are not and you have to pay upon entry. Our driver and English speaking guide, Oka picked us up at our Westin Ubud hotel at 9:30am; --he was fantastic! Very upbeat, proud of his Balinese culture, highly respectful of their customs and land, and knowledgable of all the sights. We visited Tirta Empul and participated in the water purification ceremony which my son, husband and I felt was the highlight of our trip. We then went to the Permulan Coffee Plantation to experience various complimentary Balinese teas and coffees including Kopi Luwak (at an extra fee). Next we toured the Gunung Kawi Temple. Knowing I was interested in souvenir shopping, Oka brought us to the Krisna market where the locals shop. Since prices were fixed, it was nice not to have to haggle like we did at the Guwang Market. Our last stop was the Tegenungan Waterfall which we just saw from a top lookout point. Some people walk further down and go into the water but we did not. By the end of the day we were tired and decided not to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, which was the last sight for the day on our itinerary list. We had visited one in Vietnam so didn't feel we were missing much. Most of the other tours build in lunch, but we knew we would be too full from the large breakfast buffet we had at our hotel before starting our tour, so we skipped that. We were highly satisfied with our tour and guide and would recommend this tour to all.

Because my father has limited mobility, he carefully organized each stop so that he didn't have to walk any farther than necessary. This level of care made a huge difference for our family. One of the highlights was his recommendation for a seafood restaurant on Jimbaran Beach. We were able to choose our own fresh fish, and he arranged a perfect table right by the water, where we enjoyed an unforgettable sunset while having dinner. The tour felt very personal and was tailored to our family's needs and preferences. Communication was excellent, and his local knowledge and recommendations were outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would happily recommend him to anyone visiting Bali!

Absolutely amazing day. Our tour guide Dastra, could not have done more to make the day perfect for us. He was full of information, really good with the kids and great taking photos!! He made great recommendation, listened to everything we wanted to do and never rushed us. We could not have asked for more. He really was amazing.

If you’re doing a private tour around Ubud, make sure you ask for Raka! We had the best day visiting the monkey forest, rice terraces, temples and local art spots. Raka was an absolute legend. Great yarns, awesome vibes, heaps of local knowledge, and somehow became our personal photographer too. Our camera roll has never looked better! Nothing was a hassle, and he made the whole day so much fun. Couldn’t recommend him more. Genuinely a 1000/10 experience. Thanks, Raka, for making our day in Ubud one we’ll never forget!
